This walgreens store managerment the need to learn better communication skills. Bad attitude, very unhelpful. I bought two items after paying. I found out I was over charged 21.00 for two items. I caught on my receipt. After 20 min dealing with it. I get home and found out, the 10.00 wasnt added back to my debt card. Instead they charged it. Now it just a headache to get my money back on on the sale prices on two items. Both manager very unhelpful. You can keep your 10 dollars. Not worth the headache

I received my first COVID vaccination at this location and it was seamless. Easy, organized and efficient. I was impressed by Becky and Autumn.

The staff at this Walgreens location are the friendliest and most helpful staff of any grocery store/pharmacy Ive been to. I refill all prescriptions at this location and particularly love the pharmacy staff! They are always very professional and genuinely care.

I live in Downtown Des Moines and I love how I can stop by this location to get something I need. Sometimes the prices here are a little high,but you can get great deals,too.

Are there better stores, or even Walgreens? Yes, but this place has all the basics downtown. It is accessible from the skywalk and street. The staff is friendly and will assist you if need be.

Very friendly, helpful staff go out of their way to help you out. On one instance, redbull was on sale on the shelf in 4 packs for $6, i got the last one from the shelf and the clerk allowed me to get 4 from the cooler and he charged me the cheaper 4 pack price, which saved me $2. Another instance, I asked for help finding a good lotion for dry skin. The lady who helped me happened to have an extra manufacturers coupon and saved me $2 off the sale price. It was basically half price between that coupon and their rewards program. The Balance Rewards card comes in very handy, they accept Google Wallet, which I appreciate as well. Easy walk from most offices downtown.

I have positive experiences when I go, but not happy with the store hours. I recently moved downtown from Beaverdale, and with all the people who live downtown, the Walgreens should really be open later now. I still go to Beaverdale location to get my prescriptions because the downtown hours dont work well for me. Otherwise, I enjoy the staff.

I would like to recommend this place to everyone, the store is clean and staff FRIENDLY, the prices are reasonable and the Pharmacy is excellent,dont forget the Walgreens discount card.I like to shop the ads SUN THROUGH SAT, YOU BUY $25DOLLARS SAVE $5 DOLLARS.

The prices for medicine at this location are ABSURD. What costs $4-$6 at HyVee, Price Chopper, Kmart or Target costs $9-$12 here. This is a typical case of taking advantage of consumers due to its location. Go walk the extra two blocks to the HyVee on Court Ave; even HyVee is far from cheap, but at least they arent scheming capitalist pigs.

The pharmacy staff is amazingly friendly. They always remember my name, and even remembered it after I switch to a different pharmacy and then back to Walgreens after almost two years.
