Avoid this place like a plauge if possible, had two recertifications and valves done, brought two tanks in one full and one 1/3 full told them not to fill as I could get it cheaper. Showed up the next day and they had both tanks filled and wanted to charge me for 40lbs as compensation for the mess up. Then proceeded to argue with me about it. Not very good customer service when you can get cheaper fuel elsewhere.
Great place to work.
Great service every time I call.
Great place to get a cylinder filled cant beat their price
Tanker truck hit a mail box and decided to park in the middle of a hill on a gravel road in Warren County. When offered help the guy said he wasn’t moving and slammed the truck door and has been sitting for over 20 minutes blocking the road. This driver is no more of a help than a fart 💨
Good service from a good company. Recently I had a delivery scheduled for a day when snow melt made my gravel driveway very soft. I was afraid the big propane truck would rut up my driveway or get stuck. I called Ferrell early in the morning, before they opened, and left a voice message of my concern and asked if they would put off delivery for three or four days. They rescheduled my delivery for later in the week when the driveway had dried up and re-froze and sure enough in the bitter high wind cold my delivery came right on schedule. Thank you for listening and helping Ferrell Gas!
Everyone was great! I told them what I needed. The dock guys made their suggestion, which worked out great. All around a great experience for an out of towner. Thank you.
Weve been dealing with Ferrellgas for 38 years now, and they have never been anything but wonderful to us! Our driver is great, too! Thanks, Ferrellgas!
Every time I have visited them to fill my propane tanks, I have found prompt, courteous service. Prices are competitive and it is one of the few places I have found to re-certify my propane tank; other places just want to sell me a new one.
Terrible company! I paid an additional $50 fee for next-day delivery. After no contact all day, I called the local office at 4:45 PM to find out when the driver would arrive. The office staff said the driver couldnt figure out how to drive up my driveway and just left. He did not make a real attempt to contact us. (I was at the house and by the phone). When I contacted the general manager, he said they could make an after-hours delivery for an additional $150. The fact that my family will be without heat and hot water on a January night in Iowa made no difference to him. I will never do business with Ferrellgas again!
Went into front office and asked price to replace a tank valve. Front office attendent told me she didnt know price, Id have to ask the guys at the dock. Dropped the tank off at the dock and the guy gave me a price and said the tank recert fee was included in the valve price. Came back to pick up the tank and a different front desk attendant took my ticket and gave me a total higher than I was quoted so I asked for an itemized receipt and she replied, yeah, youll get that when you pay. Long story short, woman was extremely rude and gave some of the worst customer service Ive experienced in recent memory. The price error is forgivable but the poor etiquette is not. Dont give this place your business.
Once we moved in we were told we had a week and a half to pay a deposit and put it in our name, they gave us less than a week to do so before shutting it off. Called the day they shut it off and got everything squared away. They told us it would be turned on the next day and it wasn’t. Horrible customer service.
Lots of gas
