What a nice experience we had here! My husband took all 3 of my guitars in for some minor repairs. The man was very kind and did a wonderful job. He said it was their 100th year of business. Very cool! We will be back to support them

Very good experience

My procrastination got the best of me as I waited the day before to get my sons trumpet oiled up and fixed. I went to the store and was greeted by a very sweet lady and man. He looked at the trumpet right away and said he could have it fixed within the hour! The cost was very little and can guarantee it would have been triple the cost if I took it to a big name brand music store. I really enjoyed the experience here and like to support small businesses when I can. This will definitely be my go to store for our music needs.

My granddaughter started violin lessons this summer at Family Music Center. I was so amazed how the lessons flowed so well for a 7 year old. The instructor is very patient and knowledgeable when teaching a young child. She has already learned six songs and even played Jesus Loves Me for her Sunday School class this summer. Thank you David Leach for giving my grandchild the love for learning the violin.*Also, I have had a flute, sax, and trumpet repaired with great success. Thank you!!

I think its pretty sad that intolerant people leave negative reviews, based on the owners perceived, personal beliefs. With me, its always been great, affordable service. Plus I dont have to drive all the way to West Des Moines or downtown to grab something.

Great friendly service. Was greeted with a smile as soon as I walked in.Despite what the negative reviews say I felt no judgement even when I asked how I could get a better metal tone out of my electric guitar.

After Riemans music said it would take 3 -4 weeks to replace a pad and adjust my sons clarinet and $160 I ended up calling Millers Family music they said bring it over, 15 min later and $20 fixed...quick, inexpensive, very knowledgeable thank you!

We had a sax in need of repair that was quoted $215 at a different store. I took it to the Family Music Center and it was repaired in two hours for $50. Very honest and I highly recommend.
