Needed a desk. Found a very nice used desk for a very good price. Carrie helped me find it and made the process easy and painless. Will definitely do businesses with OFR again.
Extremely glad to have found this place! Ive been shopping for a used Herman Miller or Steelcase chair for my home office. Tim from OFR was a huge help in trying out the different chairs. He provided thorough demos for each one that I had my eye on! I ended up getting a Steelcase Amia for a fantastic value! Highly recommend this place for those looking to upgrade their WFH chairs and office setups. Easy enough to travel to by car, just by OHare Airport.
This place is where you get an actual personal customer service that is so rare these days. I had a 2 year old chair that broke due to overuse (working from home) replaced no questions (and no receipt) asked in 1 minute! Tim knows how to treat customers. Im forever a customer and a fan! Buy with confidence!

Has a good variety of chairs. But the greatest asset here is the staff. They had knowledge on a large range of questions we had, and explained things about the products well. They were prompt and respectful.This facility also fixes up the furniture, so they know a lot about replacement pieces and the history of the furniture.
I have shopped at OFR several time and have always received excellent service. Not only do they have a great selection of furniture, but they are very easy to work with--especially Anthony, Cindy, Kim and Tim. This is the only place to go when you need office furniture --they offer high quality (and clean) used furniture at a good price.
Completely dissatisfied with the service I received here. I came to look at desks on October 1st, I requested revised quote which I received on Oct 7th, after playing phone tag which I had to do all week with the associate that was assigned to me, Carrie Dvorak. I decided to order 3 desks which I did on oct 9th. Carrie quoted me 5-7 delivery time from the time of order however after asking all week for a delivery time, and being brushed off, Carrie finally tells us today that it can take 2 weeks to receive the order. I called her to ask her about this and express my frustration, to which she texted me to leave a message because she was with a customer. When she then calls me back, I start to explain my frustrations and she rushes me off the phone because her client was coming back. I immediately called the store to speak with a manager, and I was transferred to Tom. Tom listened to what I had to say and said he would call me back. He called me back to say that it wasnt Carries fault, and she did not find out the desks were back ordered until she placed the order, which again was NEVER communicated to me and was the first I was hearing of it being backordered. I told him that this was my problem, a lack of customer service and communication and he said well Im not blaming Carrie. I told him to cancel my order. Never once have I received an apology from an employee of the company. I was expecting to have desks in the office now, but instead we are sitting on the floor because of the companys incompetence and inability to communicate. If this would have been communicated to me, it would have been no problem but I have been stuck now rushing to find desks for our NON-PROFIT. Carried brushed us off all week and lied to us, when if she would have been honest there would not have been an issue. I really wanted to try to support a local business, however service like this is why I will turn to Wayfair or Amazon. If you are looking for great customer service, timely delivery and honesty, avoid Office Furniture Resources at all costs.

We have had the best experience with this company since we started working with them almost 2 years ago. We wont go to anyone else! The used furniture weve purchased from them looks brand new, but saved our office tons of money! We also ordered new furniture through them, and the quality is great, delivery is fast, and their install team did an excellent job getting it set up for us. They took great care on the install with our new wood floors and freshly painted walls. Whenever we had an issue with an order (which was rare), Kim and her team were quick to bring a good resolution. Their customer service is outstanding. Im so grateful we found OFR and wont use anyone else!!
Clean showroom and warehouse, helpful service, LOADS of inventory, fair prices. Before buying furniture new, check this place out, youll save a bundle - amazing what manufacturers charge for new office furniture. . And, no I do not work for them. No BS, these guys have what you need, or theyll be able to find it for you.
The entire staff did a superb job! From reception that helped when I got lost in transit, to Giselle who efficiently located the items I was seeking and processed the sales, to the scheduling by Erica, and the delivery with care and professionalism by Tony and Roberto. On time, on budget, polite, professional. This family owned business is a gem!!!
