Had to wait for awhile forFried Chicken & PotatoeWedges. Along with some other people. They people working there were nice, but maybe they need another Fryer. They only have 1 and the Chicken & Potatoe Wedges are a big sale there.

This is a great grocery store. The selection of item is very complete, and there are specialty areas in the store: produce, deli, and butcher. The Stater brand items are economical and high quality. The staff is friendly and the produce is very fresh.

I always shop at staters due to their reasonable pricing and constant deals. Unfortunately during the past year though it has difficult to find and acquire certain items. I was really disappointed though when they were out of Coke Can products.However the staff is always welcoming, courteous and helpful. The store itself is well maintained with cleanliness and organization.

Great store for the neighborhood.Kind of small so special attention to local favorites.Everybodys friendly.Easy access from the streets with plenty of parking.Checking out is quick and easy.Produce is fresh, and presented well.Avocados and roma tomatoes can be a challenge sometimes, but priced accordingly.Theres a dollar store, a great donut shop and a couple of great resteraunts within walking distance.

I went to Stater Bros in Desert Hot Springs for the first time the other day, and a lady named Jennifer from the meat department was amazing. She has the best customer service and was so helpful. I’ll definitely be buying my groceries from here for now on.

Its always very crowded. I would recommend shopping here ONLY if you have been fully vaccinated and wear a mask. This place is not safe for children since they are not vaccinated. Im an RN.

6/29/21 around 2:15pm Me and my family try not to shop here for a number of reasons, due to the lack of cleanliness, empty shelves, brown meat in the self meat section, the deli department not being well stocked, the meat department not being well stocked in glass section, a female walking around the meat department with nappy long colored braided hair, not one employee even in a white shirt says Hello as you walk down the same aisle as they stand there wasting company time talking to each other not even making eye contact, I can go on and on but this shows the reflection of poor management by far, so if management doesnt care why should the employees. This store in the valley lacks customer service and needs attention from higher authority. Grocery Outlet might be the better option at this point. Happy to hear DHS has other options to shop for your groceries and other items elsewhere.

Well stocked and clean per usual but also as per usual the customer service seems dry somehow. Its not BAD but its just off somehow, tense feeling

Too bad Stater Brothers does not have security guards outside their store because the panhandlers sometimes get so aggressive that they scare me away when I go to this store. Its a shame! I am not comfortable walking through the gauntlet of panhandlers every time I try to shop here. I gave up and go to the Grocery Outlet, Cardenas or Vons before here. Watch yourself in their parking lot too.

Love the fact that price labels show cost per ounce including sale price items. This lets you compare savings on sale and non sale items per ounce. Also lets you know if its worth buying large packages vs small package. Manager specials are available on meats close to expiration, save some bucks if you are ready to cook.

I shop here every week and have done so for about seven years or more. I don’t think I can give a more shiny review than that. We always go back because it has everything we need. You should do the same.

Its a nice store a little run down because of the area low income. Prices are high compared to other areas . Most of the client type are on food stamps so they dont care about prices..which Amazed me as you think they would be wanting the most for there allotment (this is from own observation)

My mom was there this morning and the staff/employees were extremely rude and unhelpful. When she asked where something was located the male employee huffed and puffed like he was completely annoyed. The cashier Diana did not even acknowledge that she was there. No hello, no thank you, nothing. HORRIBLE NON-CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I shop at stater Brothers and they are very nice people.

I love this store! The customer service is great and they have the only cat food my fur baby will eat. My only gripe would be the stationary. I looked high and low for pens. I finally found them WAAAY back on what could be described as the side of an end cap. The smallest selection of stationary I have ever seen. But thats it. Everything else is 👌

Thats sweet of the owner or manager to reply to my review. The reason for the 4 star review is because there are too many transient people always outside or hanging around and to be honest its kinda scary to go there at night. Your food is excellant the people working there are so nice and helpful and the price of rib eyes are the best anywhere its just the palm st store people outside make it scary. I tend to drive all the way to palm springs on sunrise cuz they dont have the transient problem. You asked why. That is why. I dont feel safe at night there.

I love the people their.its nice and clean realy nice store to shope at.

Clean, friendly, helpful. A lot of stocking was happening while I was there, I was told a shipment had just arrived. But was it really necessary to mop aisle 3 and block one entrance right then? It seemed busier than most stores Ive seen on a Wednesday morning/afternoon too. Prices were typical, with some specials scattered around. A good trip all in all.

I am choosey about who gets 5 stars. Rest assured, 4 stars is very complementary.

I just love the meat department. If you think its fun to peoplecwatch at Walmart you should try it at DHS Stater Brothers. Crazy fun people in that establishment.

The employees are for the most part decent, you do have a few just like any where you go that dont seem to care that much about theyre job. Store is usually clean and recent remodel looks nice as well.

If your thirsty our hungery states bros has delicious foods. You just have to look for it.

My home Stater Brothers. I like the prices, the fruit and vegetables section, the meats, and the quickness from the cashiers. They also serve the crispest and juiciest fried chicken family meals.

This Stater Bros. location is much nicer than it was several years ago. The butcher department is a standout as youd expect from the Bros.

It is clean and the cashiers are helpful and professional. But sometimes the young workers who bag the food do NOT know how to properly bag the food so it doesnt get squished.

I would appreciate if the cashier Diana keeps it professional at all times. Every time shes at the register she gives me a nasty attitude Im a paying customer and shouldnt be treated like Im bothering her.

Prices are high compared to local markets. Seems like large grocery chains are marking up their prices. We shop at Grocery Outlet first, better choice of Vegan and non gmo products.

Desert Hot Springs stater brothers is low brow. The shelves were picked over and messy and they had no diet Pepsi available nor root beer. Alot of the things I go to stater bro. For were not in stalk. There was some woman screaming in the store and the place has a different energy. Unsettling. I got a few things but I dont know why I should have left and just gone to another store ii had to anyway to get the things I needed total waist of time . I wont shop there again.

Only 2nd time shopping here. Store was well laid out, emps were helpful. Didnt carry Spice Islands brand but got everything else I was looking for. Will shop there again.

Changing my review from 4 to only 1 Star since The Covid 19 Corona Virus Pandemic started. Stater Bros prices are Completely Outrageous Now. You have to be rich now if you want to eat real meat the only thing that didnt change is the price of Vienna sausages. No more steak or even bacon .

They are always stocked up, have great produce, friendly staff and they care for their customers.

It is mostly long waiting period in line the times I have gone, they have somewhat of good deals. Since it is one of the few big produce stores around here with more options but it is not necessarily the most affordable, it is on the expensive side for a low-income family, and let alone a big family, the money here goes quick when shopping litttle and not in bulk.b
