The $20 is worth paying for the great service you get. When I first started boating I came there with women and no men that could help me with the truck or boat. These guys told me to stay in the truck and just back it down in the water and they would get it off the trailer and tie it to the dock while I parked my truck. Great service and even though I can get my boat on and off the trailer just fine I will still pay these guys for the experience

Best boat ramp I’ve ever been to. We come here often, year round. It’s small but extremely organized. While it does cost a bit to park and launch, there are tons of people there to help you launch and come back in. The young people working there are always so nice, and always know what they’re doing. Anyone leaving bad reviews are probably non boaters or ungrateful tourists.

Great boat launch. I brought my boat from Ohio and put it in the water after a long, tiring drive while the tide was going out and very strong. Both dock attendants were super helpful! Watch out for the yahoos on the rentals though!

$10(including parking) for two of us to launch our canoe, we were told to leave the parking permit on our cars dashboard, but a staff came asked for us if we have paid the launch fee and would like to see our permit(which was left in our car on the dash as told by their parking attendant...) It could get busy and packed if you arrived late. We were there on a Saturday at 9am and could barely got a parking spot. No other issue while using this marina.

Everything was ok until I went and bought a couple of things from that store for fishing and over charged me on my merchandises I even added the math up and it should have been around 75-76 after tax and all.... doesn’t make it even better if the guy can’t even read the prices either

My family and I have been doing business with the Destin Marina for years. Its one of the last businesses from Old Destin, and while there hasnt been a whole lot of big changes down there like the more commercialized places, it has a very distinct character and charm about it that can only be found in a place thats been around since Destin was just a small fishing village. This marina has been owned by the same family for 3 generations, and youll always see a familiar, friendly face when you walk through the door. Want to know some good fishing spots to check out and what types of fish are biting right now? These guys know, and theyre more than happy to share with you whats biting and where to catch them. Want to spend a day on the boat cruising around the bay or hanging out on Crab Island? This is where you need to go. Not only do they have one of the only 2 boat launches in Destin, they are the most convenient boat ramp to the bay, Crab Island, and the Gulf. In the store, they have everything you could possibly need for a day out on the boat. As for the service, well, youre not going to get better service in Destin than you will from these guys. Mr. Ming always has a story to tell about the good ol days. Skip, a former charter boat captain, knows all the ins and outs about fishing and boating in Destin. And youll always see Chris with a big smile on his face and ready to help you out in any way he can. They are the nicest family youll ever meet. Our experiences here have never been short of exceptional. Support local small businesses and check them out whenever youre in the area. Take it from a local, youll be glad you did.

A little compact and little parking space, but for $10, youre launching pretty close to the Destin Harbor and easy access to the open waters.

A perfect example of what Destin used to be like . A great place to launch your boat right in the heart of Destin. Next to crab Island.

Spent the weekend in destin and used this launch twice. The first day wasnt as bad. Parked the truck and had a worker on the golf cart bring me to the launch. Not much parking at all and the street seemed more like a one way in the middle of a trailer park. On the way back in we had to wait around 40 minutes to pick up the jet ski because it was very unorganized and a clutter. Many of the people took way too long picking up in the launch and they only had one launch. The boats pulling up didnt have much respect for anyones stuff. They pulled wherever they wanted and didnt care that it was rocking against the jet ski. The boats left several scartches on my jet ski and when I asked if they could move the workers moved me by more boats. The second day they were way over packed and wanted us to park a street away. When I asked if they could give us a ride on the golf cart back they suddenly didnt know where the golf cart was. When we were coming back to pick up the jet ski someone hit my trailer and left a note with a fake number when we asked if they could give us the license plate number they said they couldnt help us and they dont have cameras. Hope they become more organized and figure there stuff out because that was a huge disappointment
