I came in 2 minutes before closing and Daniella, the worker there, still helped me find exactly what i needed for my hair. she was kind and i am very happy with ny purchase
I was on vacation a few weeks ago in Destin. I needed a few hair products, so I stopped by this Sallys. There were two ladies working in the store. Both of them saw me, neither one acknowledged me or asked if I needed help finding anything. I walked around the store for about 10 minutes and still nothing. They actually had what I wanted to buy, but since the customer service was non existent, I decided not to buy anything. I am an African American woman with big natural hair, but Im friendly and had money to spend. I found what I needed elsewhere.
Recently stopped by this location to grab some hair supplies and the store manager had outstanding customer service skills and was extremely friendly. Immediately upon entering, she greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I showed her a list of the items I needed (about 6 or 7 things) and she walked me through the whole store and picked up each item for me and asked if I had any other questions or anything else to get and helped ring everything up. She was extremely organized and the store was very clean. Such a great experience I had to share! It’s truly a blessing to come by such friendly and helpful people these days. Will definitely be back.
Went to Sally’s the other day to grab a few items.... they didn’t have everything I was looking for, but no big deal...however I had a few items, checked out, and paid... the cashier pushed my items towards me and looked at me strange... I said... can I get a bag for there? As it was several small items and awkward to hold in hand... she said that will be ...$$$ however. Much she quoted... maybe 15-30cents .... it’s not the money AT ALL it’s the fact that I purchased items and after the purchase had to awkwardly carry out my several items without a bag because I didn’t want to stay an have 15-30 cents charged on my card as I was in a bit of a hurry... I went over to ULTA.... they had what I needed and alas.... I got a bag!!! I will take my items back to Sally’s and won’t shop there ever again
Had what I was looking for.. Little disappointed the color wasnt as brown as it looked on the example of hair shown. Could have just been my hair. The guy was very nice and helpful. He was a cute younger guy with bleached hair on top and glasses.
Since I live a good 40 minutes away, I wanted to call and make sure what i needed was in stock before making the drive. I was abruptly put on hold and left there for more than five minutes without even a check-in, so I hung up. Tried again later and was given similar treatment. Not interested in making a long drive to be treated like I dont matter, Ill buy what I need online from a different supplier.

Employees lack product/industry knowledge. Store is poorly stocked and rather cluttered. Sale tags, which change monthly, are never properly posted. Discount codes must be manually typed in, and employees dont keep up with them or remember to apply them. Could go on and on..The current manager is helpful/knowledgeable, but the store is still messy because the rest of the staff appears to be lazy/poorly trained.
Needs more of a variety of synthetic hair for people who lives on a budget and that cant afford to go to a salon.
