If I could give Sam at Gregg Orr 10 out of 5 stars I would... One of my big pet peeves about going to ANY dealership whether it be for a boat or a car or a motorcycle is the sales person is pretty much ALWAYS going to try with all of their power to sell you something that day and I really really dont like when a sales person tries to cram a vehicle down your throat just to make the sale. With that said, Sam at Gregg Orr was the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of this, I sent in an inquiry on the boat I wanted (a used CSkiff) and within the day Sam gave me a call to come take a look at the boat. I went out on a Friday and met Sam on the lot to take a look at the boat, we talked about the boat he answered all of my questions and taught me a ton about boating which was super helpful. The nice thing was, he was obviously trying to sell a boat, but he wasnt trying to push me into something I wasnt sure about. Before I put a deposit on the boat and made a surefire commitment I wanted to come out one more time and take a look and take some measurements. Upon arriving is was pouring rain and Sam was still helpful enough to go out there with me IN THE RAIN to take these measurements on the boat. If I decide to upgrade or buy another boat I definitely know where Im going to be going and I would absolutely be calling Sam. If you want someone whos going to be genuine and honest and VERY helpful go see Sam at Gregg Orr and you wont regret it one bit, he is by far the best salesperson I have EVER worked with.The second person at Gregg Orr I would like to give credit to is Ms. Peggy in financing. She helped me secure a loan for the particular boat I wanted and was very helpful with providing all of the documents I needed after the purchase. Not only was Ms. Peggy very helpful but she was also very kind as was all of the other staff at Gregg Orr.Big thanks to Gregg Orr for being such a friendly and helpful place to look for a boat. If management reads this... Sam and Peggy definitely deserve a raise!!!

I purchased 2 boats from Sam & Chris at Gregg Orr Marine in Destin and I’d be remiss if I didn’t share that the entire staff are not only pros on the front end during the sale process but even more so after the delivery has been made. Anyone who has owned boats knows that they require attention - especially if you want to keep them in “tip top” condition. Both the sales guys and the service team have not hesitated in any instance to support my family. They have gone “above and beyond” to earn our status as “loyal customers for life”! I had the pleasure of dealing with Sam and he was phenomenal, I called in and the boat I wanted had a deposit on it and the deal ended up falling through. Sam called me first thing the next morning to let me know so I could hold the boat. He was super knowledgeable and helpful and helped me get in and walk out with a boat same day. Great place to do business and I couldnt be happier.

Chris Sailors and Jeff Matz and the service department provided an awesome boat buying experience. Everyone from sales to the service department were customer focused, it was amazing. During the initial visit, survey, sea trail, and ordering my boat to the final inspection and second sea trail and delivery there were no surprises. The service department built my confidence with their knowledge, experience and dedication to customer support by taking the time to answer my questions and treating me like I was a customer that matters. Bottom line is Gregg Orr Marine is a top tier dealership with a top tier service department that sells top tier boats.

Typically, I tend to not inquire about items without price tags or call for price listed on items because the old saying if you got to ask, you cant afford it is typically true. However, this once I wanted a boat and I was extremely pleased to find out that I could afford it! I am local here to this dealership and always drive by daydreaming about the boats on their lot. Many are extremely nice and are or were out of my budget but I got an exceptional boat at an amazing price from these guys. Not only did I get a great boat at a way better price I could find even by relentlessly searching the internet nationwide but the dealership and all the sales team were really nice, knowledgeable and very helpful during the entire process. I mainly worked with Jeff. They were nothing like typical salesmen that will try to sell you snake oil but honest and reasonable and helped me with what I wanted and not try to bait and switch or increase the price with add on items. Really one of the most pleasant experiences I have had buying a large item. The sales department also took care of everything from start to finish and made the process pretty painless. I guess you typically expect that from anywhere but these guys were great so I like to give credit where it is do. I typically dont even write reviews so I hope this resonates with whoever reads it. If your in the market for a boat, I would be surprised if you find a place with better prices, facilities, or sales department. Their facility here in Destin FL is also pleasing to visit. Its new and on the harbor, which initially made me think that they would up charge everything because Destin is not a cheap place to live, but I was wrong. They have earned a good name with me and my future business, which means a lot coming from me. I hope this helps anyone out there trying to buy a boat. Good luck and safe sailing.

I am new to salt water boating but they made it easy for me by thoroughly explaining things and not trying to be pushy on a sale. Jeff, my salesman, is very knowledgable and took his time with me to explain things and answeer questions. My financing, done by Chris, was made really easy by him.
