I called a few times so the first call I made they responded and said that I need to call between 8 and 9 AM and I said great I’ll call tomorrow between that time next day I called at 10 AM I missed my window so I thought I’d give it another shot third call I called at 9 AM and they tell me OK Then decides to ask what kind of appliance Brand is it I said LG Sorry we don’t deal with those they give us a hard time, so after three days of phone calls he tells me this Do not recommend had a nasty attitude…

I brought a refrigerator from them and it didn’t even last a month. I call to let them know that the refrigerator was not getting cold. They charge me for the repair and they told me that it might not work with the repairs. Do you even check the appliances before selling them to people? Please don’t go there and buy anything because it’s not worth your time and money.

They fixed my 12 year old fridge. That showed up when they promised, and got the job done right on the first try.

I bought a side by side fridge from this place with a ice maker on it about week and half after I got it I had a water line installed in my house to use my ice maker come to find out they basically tore the whole ice maker apart wires are all sniped!!! When I called to let them know what was going on he admitted to me they don’t test the ice makers out which I understand a little bit cause I know u needs water line whatever but u could of offer to help fix it or give me some of my money back cause now I paid almost 400 dollars for a side by side ice maker fridge and it doesn’t work that’s all I ever wanted but I was told even the 30 day warranty doesn’t cover it just waste a money cause now I’m going buy me another fridge with a ice maker on it don’t buy from this place!!!! He honestly don’t care about customer service I even was willing to pay for them to come look at it and fix of course at a discounted price cause I wanted was a ice maker!!! 😢😢😢😢😢

I got a replacement stove from them it was used I expected it to have bean refurbished and fully working. it worked but was not working correctly they never fixed it even though I bought the insurance. I would not get stuff from them. there service guys where nice for install.

I called to get my washer fixed. The repair guy came out on time. When he saw my washer he told me the water pressure was off. He turned it back on, then he said nothing was wrong with my washer. I paid him $60 for coming out to do nothing. That’s fine here it is a week later my washer is still doing the same thing. No one touched the water pressure or cut the water valve off to the washer. Now I’m out of $60 bucks and a washer. I don’t appreciate paying him to do nothing, then on top of that I still need a washer. The repair guy attitude sucked and I still need a damn WASHER!!!!! I’m going to report them to the BBB.

I love this place! Their prices are reasonable! Their appliances have been extremely reliable as well over the years. I have purchased a washer (4yrs.ago), dryer(3yrs.ago), stove(a wk ago), and refrigerator(1yr ago). From the oldest purchase to the most recent, I am happy to report that I have not once needed a repair on any of them, that I purchased from them. I am hoping to find an upright deep freezer tomorrow. Fingers crossed... Oh, do not let me forget to gush about their quick delivery and removal of the old appliances, as well. Been a customer of Ace for many many years purchasing different appliances each time, excellent customer service. I purchase a warranty on all my appliances knowing these are used machines, but then again you need to on purchasing new appliances too! Ace comes out right away and makes sure it’s fixed. I’ve always felt they have been more then fair on pricing as well.

Excellent customer service !!! My stove was not working properly and the owner Brian offered suggestions to help me save paying a service fee. I appreciated that. But it didnt work. Service tech Darrell came out the same day. He was very professional with great customer service and repair skills. Darrell also offered advice on what I could try to do myself to help me save money and it worked. My husband and I are both senior citizens on a fixed income, so this helped us a lot so we only had to pay the fee to tell us what was wrong and what to do. Brian came out about 11am, which he’d quoted me a timeframe of 10:30am to 1pm. He was in and out in about 30 minutes, if that at all. I called Ace Appliance at about noon today about an issue I was having with my oven and by around 4:30pm a repairman was at my house to fix it. Daren was very professional and knowledgeable with the issue I was having and already had the part based off of the conversation I had with the owner. I wanted a washer and drier for the cottage but didnt want to spend a lot of money for something we dont use very often I was very happy with the large selection they had. The store manager Brian was helpful/knowledgeable on getting me the right set with explaining the differences in units and recommended one with a stainless tank since it isnt used on a weekly basis and will rust something I never thought of. I got a great price on a pair 6 years ago and they still work great so yesterday we went back and bought a new stove Im not sure anyone ever cooked on it looks brand new!

I will most definitely use them when I need my appliance fixed!! I contacted them to fix my dishwasher. They dont fix dishwashers but he diagnosed my problem over the phone and gave me a couple of tips to check for myself before contacting someone to come out. I followed the tips and they worked. He helped me fix the dishwashet problem myself. I am so impressed because he gave me his time knowing that I was not going to be utilizing his company. This place was terrible!!! I thought I was walking into an actual business and boy was I wrong! There was no counter or place to make any kind of transaction or person in sight who made you feel like this place was legitimate. There was one RANDOM guy who peeked out from behind a corner and tried to sell me a used part for cash only!?!?! He asked if I had called ahead and how much I was told the part would be. He literally pulled the part off of some nasty used washer right in front of me and proceeded to tell me how all their stuff is brand new that they get from Lowe’s which has fallen off of trucks (I know this story just keeps getting better and better). This place doesn’t even deserve ONE star. My son was with me and he kept asking me questions about this place with one of them being, “Was that place a real store dad? Why did it smell weird, have water all over the floor, and look like that?” I really had no good answers for him and just kept emphasizing that it was a very shady situation whatever was happening there. In conclusion, this place was a waste of space and a complete waste of my time. DON’T GO THERE!!!

My experience was horrible. I bought a washer machine about a month ago and right when the warranty ended the machine stop working. I called the owner Brian and was told that I could get a discount count on another machine which was not really a discount and pay for delivery again or could pay to have the machine repaired. I had already spent $200 on the machine. Please dont go to his place, they are a joke. They sell machines that arent really working and that they know arent no good. They saw me coming. I am a single parent of two kids and couldnt afford to buy another machine, they didnt really care because they had my money. I letting everyone know that this place is a joke. I had a technician come out and I was told that the transmission on the machine was out.SignedOut of $200.00

Called around 10:30am. They were at my home by 12:30pm. Paul came in and changed my coupler in not more than 20 mins. Cost me $120. There is a $40 fee to come out if they dont do the repairs. I can wash tonight. Im happy!

I purchased a Whirlpool Duet washer and gas dryer in August 2013. The only issue I had with the washer is a headband that belong to someone who lives with me got caught somewhere in the washer and the washer was unable to spin. I called Ace Appliance the next day and the service technician removed the headband. I did purchase warranty for a year and continue to keep both the washer and dryer on warranty. The staff was extremely helpful and solve my issue very quickly! I am happy with my purchase and thank you Ace Appliance!Lisa

Great service! I purchased a fridge here And The adventure started. The first one wouldnt fit in my kitchen but No problem they said come pick out another one. Get the second one and oops its not working properly. Yesterday they brought me another fridge and I am happy to say, so far, it works just fine!They didnt give me the run around until my 30 days were up, or treat me like a nuisance, they corrected every problem without pause and thats why I would recommend them without pause!

A great place to get great deals on used appliances. They were the cheapest place around and they had a large selection. They were willing to work with me to find what I needed. Plus when my fridge broke he helped me over the phone to do a simple repair instead of trying to talk me into buying another one. He saved me alot of money on that one. I purchased a GE side by side about 5 years ago from ACE and within the first month the defrost heater went bad, ACE fixed it no questions asked. I recently have had similar issues and Brian walked me through the diagnostic process on two separate occasions saving me a bunch of money by selling me just the parts I needed without having to have a tech come out and look at the fridge. I will not buy a used appliance anywhere else!

The day BEFORE leaving for a two week vacation, my Renters called me to let me know the washer broke. With no time to shop for a new washer, I called Ace Appliance to see what was available in stock. Brian advised me the specs/years of multiple units immediately available. Based upon his recommendation and texting me a picture, I purchased the washer over the phone. Bonus!! He didnt give me the specifications I asked for and when I asked if he had a tape measure handy to please measure the appliance he said no but I have customers in front of me and Im ignoring them to talk to you. He was very unprofessional and impolite in spite of the fact that I was kind the entire phone call. I will be buying a freezer from someone who cares.

Talk about being impressed with a service tech.I have a GE 30 built in oven that stopped heating. I contacted an appliance service company to repair the unit. The first service visit was 90 days ago. They reviewed the problem and ordered parts. One week later the part arrived and the service tech returned to make the repair. After he was able to get the oven to work, later that afternoon we attempted to heat to the oven. Nope, oven still didnt work. Subsequently, the service tech and other associates returned eight (8) different times to repair the oven. Each visit resulted in replacing various parts, and each time the oven failed to work afterwards. After the last visit, the tech said the part he thought would be necessary was no longer available and to purchase a new oven. The repairs to date had cost me $600. I was shocked.A relative recommend Brian at Ace Appliances in Detroit to analyze to ongoing problem with the oven before purchasing a new oven. Brian came out the same day I called for service, looked at the oven and determined that the problem may not be parts but more of an electrical contact.I called an electrician, who tested various contacts. The electrician re-contected the wiring at the box and the oven now works fine.Thank you Brian for your knowledge and recommendation. You saved me from buying a new oven. Thank you for your honesty. I now know who to call when other appliances act up.

I have used Ace Appliance more than once. My washer overflowed and though they could not make it repeat the problem, they replaced the part that they knew would cause it at no charge. Another time I called explaining a problem with my dryer and they were there with the part and had my dryer up and running in less than 6 hours.I would definately use Ace Applicance again especially when I replace my washer and dryer and have already recommended them to my friends and family.

I recently purchased a fridge from them on 6-27-18. So only one side of the fridge (the freezer) was working. So I called the came out and they that the part where the air flows out was close so he use screw driver and supposedly fix it. Air did flow out a lil more than b4. So now its back to not getting cold too much and the temperature on the fridge is all the way up....so Is called back to he about it was doin the same thing again he got an ATTITUDE talking about the number in the corner back I was at work I didnt have it at the time he was rule and very unprofessional I told him 4get it just come get the fridge and give my money back its still UNDER warranty (had the fridge less than a month) he say they dont give money back so I guess they just goin to keep givin a broke fridge...cus it was broken from the start...... He is A Con Artists

On my third purchase from Ace Appliance they recently sold me a washer and dryer set and a gas stove. They delivered it, we installed it. Every thing was working great but the dryer was taking a long time to dry the clothes. They came back out and quickly realized that somebody winterized our home and shoved towels in the vent tube to keep the cold air from coming in. It was making our dryer not dry correctly. They removed it waived the service fee and had us running correctly in minutes. Cant say enough about this place they have been a lifesaver. Thank you for always handling our problems and our appliances. I would not hesitate to recommend this business to my friends and family.

Called to see if they had a clutch assembly in stock for a whirlpool washing machine. When they picked up they had VERY loud music blasting in the background and didnt do anything to help themselves hear what i was saying. I finally tried to see what time they were open, and they said they close at six pm on saturday... When the website entry says 7 PM. VERY poor customer service and VERY bad store info management. Avoid this store if at all possible.
