Pure Detroit is my favorite Detroit gear store! Top notch service. Despite the challenges of Covid, they are committed to great customer service. Excellent communication. Timely order fulfillment. And theyre just really good people. I moved away from my hometown, Detroit, many years ago. But anyone will tell you, I rep my city! Pure Detroit is the cornerstone of my Motown gear! One of the best tours Ive ever taken (rivalled only by the Pure Detroit tour of the Guardian Building). The youthful but knowledgeable guides make sure that the tour remains entertaining the whole way through. Awesome knick knacks at the shop as well.

I was born and raised in Detroit and moved away 15 years ago for work. When I came across their Instagram page I was excited to order. My order arrived perfectly and I love all the items, the Detroit City tshirt is definitely my favorite.

They have a delightful selection of all kinds of foods, gifts and toys.

I am by no means a history buff. To my surprise, this tour was truly interesting and informational. Im a local and all this time had no idea the fascinating history of the Fisher brothers and the building. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and lively. I would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone.

My first visit to this store left me pretty impressed. They have a wide variety of Detroit items that are great for souvenirs. That being said, they stock Harveys bags (a California company) advertised as from the area at mark ups above their listed price. (I get it, souvenirs are always marked up.) The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and a little hipster (Im from farm country). All in all a nice place to visit and get a free tour of the Fisher building.

They offer great tours of certain Detroit landmark buildings like the Guardian Building decorated in Aztec Deco style(never seen this style before & didnt know it existed), while the Fisher Building is in Art Deco. The tours are free, sign up at the Pure Detroit store. Very friendly & knowledgable people. Very interesting shop selling great stuff about Detroit. Well worth a visit. Loved it.

We took the Fisher building tour this past weekend. I am still in awe. The fisher building is absolutely outstanding. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. It is incredible that this was absolutely for free! I actually think we will be back, I can’t get enough of the building.

Best place to go to get Detroit Paraphernalia. Toya is the most pleasant of any Salesperson Ive ever met. Because of her Ill definitely be back.

Took the building tour which was great. Great photo opportunities throughout the tour. The shop was cute and fairly priced.

If the door is still open and there is a line of people at the register.. it’s rude to say we’re closed. First of all lock the door. And post the closed sign on the door. I was coming to spend money for a dozen out of town guests. Y’all always hollering support support support but don’t want to go above and beyond to receive support. I would never return or suggest anyone else I know to support a store with such poor customer service.

Pure Detroit a wonderful store with many interesting items. A store that gives back to the community in the form of free tours of the Fisher Building and guardian building. These are high-quality tours with knowledgeable guides. Ive enjoyed the store I bought brought friends to both the store and to the doors and we have enjoyed them tremendously.

I placed an online order after talking to an employee at the main location, he checked stock for me and really was so accommodating and very helpful. I needed my order delivered quickly and he was true to his word. My package was processed, mailed and received within a day. Customer service was amazing!!

I had the pleasure of participating in the Pure Detroit Fisher Building tour this weekend with tour guide Jacob. Not only do they have a great store with numerous Detroit-inspired items, but they are giving back to the community through free tours of various locations, focusing on the Detroit history and legacy and keeping the wonderful memories alive. Even if you cant get to their tour, head to the Pure Detroit Store and browse the halls. It is a beautiful site to see.

Fantastic tour today with Ryan as our docent. What an amazing knowledge of history he has for Detroit. The art of the archetecture is beyond worldly comprehension. I am looking forward to the upcoming book on the Fisher Building history. It is a proud moment to live and see the renovation of restoration in Detroit. When I first visited Pure Detroits Fisher location, I was initially disappointed. Nowhere was there pyramids of tackleboxes stacked six men deep, as I am accustomed to from my home of Florida swamplands. Nor were there rods from which I could hang my line, or fishing line for that matter!However, once I realized that Id been tricked by that Yankee witch down in Miami, things started looking up. I discovered I was in a city called Detroit, right across a big ol stream from a bunch of city slickers that talk a bit like folk from New Orleans. The staff talked me down from my hastily erected pyramid and told me about the citys history, much of which was represented in their fine merchandise. I left with six crates of product with which to begin the long ride home. I shall sell them to my kinsmen, and tell tales of the mysterious land in the North.TL;DR- Knowledgeable staff, wide variety of merchandise to catch your eye. No pyramids. Infinity symbol turned over/ Binary Code

Just moved back to the city and had never toured the fisher. My husband and I did the tour Sunday with pure detroit and it far exceeded expectations. My husband is from Barcelona and he said it was the first time he’s ever been impressed with american architecture.Just do it. Do it. It’s art deco. Its detroit. It’s dope. It’s FREEE

The tour was great. Its free, you just have to register online. The guide was very good explaining. The buildings history is impressive. All a work of art! The merchandise in the store is great. They have a great variety of articles. Books, clothes, stickers, etc.
