I wish I had known of this business sooner. They are priced so reasonable. I was refered by a coworker after the passing of my only son. I wanted to move fast and make sure my sons final resting place had a headstone. Now that the weather has broken, I called and spoke to Ms Joelle, she was very professional, she showed me where they are with completing the headstone, explained what they were going to do to compete the headstone and gave me an estimated date as to when the headstone will be delivered to the cemetery for placing. I highly recommend!!! I am so VERY, VERY, VERY, pleased.

They were wonderful I have got three headstones for them one for my father my brother and my mother everything came out wonderful the headstones was great it just got messed up on my brothers I spray to spray on the picture and it faded and now I need him to redo it over for me but they do excellent work I recommend them to anyone five stars for me you finna get another one from you my nephew passed away

A very professional, knowledgeable, patient, company. The pricing is affordable, theyre family oriented & passionate about helping their community during tough times. I purchased two memorial monuments thus far. One for my father who passed in 2015, another for my grandmother in 2016. Soon Ill be purchasing my moms from this company as well. She passed this yr on my wedding Anniversary. 8/10/20. I wouldnt consider any other company, after the love & flexibility my family was shown from Marsh & Sassis

This headstone company was extremely discrete. They took our requests and made them into a headstone with no questions asked. It was very professional and refreshing. Other companies gave us very disrespectful looks and questions when we asked for the headstone to be titled “Big Daddy.”

It is unfortunate that we had to use any headstone company but I will say they do good work. The staff was very friendly and helpful to our family, we very appreciative of that. We gave them a chance despite the reviews and we were not disappoint. I recommend this company.

Awesome company and a major community outreach business! They provided a free headstone for a young man who passed away from cancer!!! Just wow.....

Took longer then the 6 to 8 weeks. But his work is beautiful, breathtaking He does good work

Absolutely inept & unprofessional management + communication by the owner(s) of this so-called business. Paid a sizeable down payment to order and ship two monuments only to have one of the monuments vandalized and destroyed at their Detroit location. The owner of Marsh & Sassi was slow to replace the destroyed monument. He stated he planned to replace all the damaged monuments (there were quite a few) out-of-his-pocket but wanted to charge me additional frieght fees to deliver the monument. Either Marsh & Sassi didnt have property insurance or they didnt want to file a claim with their insurance company.In any event, I chose not to replace the destroyed monument and forge ahead with finalizing the remaining monument. Marsh & Sassi refused to refund me the portion of my down payment that exceeded the cost of the one monument. Now after countless phone calls, texts, emails and visits to the Detroit office where my transaction took place, Marsh & Sassi has closed the Detroit office for business, moved to Clinton Twp., MI in Macomb County, locked my monument up in their closed Detroit office and refuse to finalize the lettering and place it on my loved ones gravesite until I pay the entire balance for the two monuments + additional costs for lettering and design.Check the Google and BBB (Better Business Bureau) reviews for these lackadaisical, ghetto shysters before dealing with this unprofessional company. Take a drive past their closed for business Detroit location on13250 Van Dyke Ave. in Detroit, MI (or view pics) and see the many headstones and monuments of family members loved ones strewn about the side of the building like pieces of trash.Unfortunately, at the time I conducted business with Marsh & Sassi there were no reviews on either Google or the BBB and the Detroit location wasnt unkempt and in shambles like it is now. The best part of this business is the lone gentleman that does most of the artwork and lettering on the headstones at the Detroit location. He is pure talent. He works in the Detroit location however, no business transactions take place there. Other than that, the ownership is foul.I chose to do business with Marsh & Sassi Monument because they are an African-American owned small business. Unfortunately, they were a SHADY African-American owned small business. Quick to secure payment, slow to do business and rarely communicate unless pushed against the wall to do so and are totally ignorant when they do finally communicate with you.To the owner(s) of Marsh & Sassi Monument Co.: I have been more than patient in dealing with your blatant unprofessionalism. Pocketing my money & withholding my loved ones monument. NOT ANY MORE. I will not go another year without my monument on my loved ones gravesite. That is a guarantee...

This has been the worst experience with this company. A month went by with their voicemails full - no return phonecalls, no follow-ups and promises not kept. Headstones were ordered for Mothers Day installation - NOTHING! Promised to be in for Memorial Day and a promise of contact upon delivery to cemetery - AGAIN NOTHING! Cemetery confirms there has been no delivery on behalf of my family. LIVID! I still have not heard from these people!

Absolutely rude, unprofessional, and down-right nasty people (well, at least the wife of the owner). After repeated attempts to get in contact with them to try and purchase a second headstone from them, the man called me back, we exchanged pictures via email etc. Two weeks worth of more phone calls and emails, and finally the wife calls me back. Proceeded to call me a racist, told me to go to a white company etc . Wow. Unbelievable.
