Quoted $5400 and title cost was over $7000. Then within a day my power steering starts leaking, which they had to remove and replace. I called them, took my car in. They said only the motor was covered by the warranty. There went more money. My wife took the car and went about 10 mile came home and the heater hose was broken, something else they took off and replaced. They are closed till Monday and I’m sure it not covered. My car had a miss while idling and they didn’t fix it . This is all within 10 days of picking up the car. Beware.

The guys at MME were great. Dave explained the process and gave me great advise with preventable maintenance advice to keep my truck going for the next 100000 miles. I would recommend this company to anybody.

Just had my second oil change done on the new engine and everything under the hood looks great. No leaks, rattles or any other issues. I had my 2006 Chevy Equinox worked on at the Michigan motor exchange in Detroit. Dave and Kevin were very informative about all the work that would be required for the job. The new motor runs like new and they even did work on my transmission and gave me a one year warranty on that as well. The customer service was fantastic and my experience with Dave has been great.

Ive got my engine replaced in 2014. Excellent excellent work! The engine still purs like a kitten. At the same time I had my water pump replaced. I dont drive the car often so it went out but it was still covered under warranty and the fixed it with no problem. I appreciate the customer service and especially Dave who went over and beyond!!

My start to 2018 was horrible, I thought it was a bad lifter, I took it to MME, they found several other things, my engine was scrap. Fortunately, Dave took the time and effort to see to it I would be able to get back on the road ASAP, they were able to address the issues and changed out the block and explained thoroughly what caused the fail in the engine and what they were going to do, I am proud of their work and professionalism that got me back on the road!! I had my 4.7 replaced with a remanufactured motor. Took them over a week. And when i got my motor back. The engine light came on almost immediately. I called to tell them the light was on and was told to go to pep boys to get it checked after paying approx 5,000 to them. Later I found the metal bracket that holds my intake in position, not even bolted, it was grinding one of my pulleys and ruined my belt. I called again only to get hung up on BY THE OWNER, I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN

Well, I intended to provide feedback back in the day – when I first used Michigan Motor Exchange (MME)… One loses track of time… In late February of 2014 I took the 4.3 V6 engine from my son’s 137,446-mile GMC Jimmy to MME. Today, nearly 4 years and at 170,651 miles, or 33,205 miles later, this engine is still purring like a Swiss watch. This was DEFINITELY worth the money to keep this product running vs. getting rid of it. We are way too much a throw-away society when there are alternatives – this is an option I would use again… In fact, I stopped by this morning to “hire” more and different work from them… Now I am a repeat customer!

My husband had my engine replaced in my Durango and he also had work done on his Bronco we can honestly say that the work is always done right and the guys are trustworthy and professional Ill definitely refer others to get work done here.

The hubby had a 88 Chevy Monte Carlo SS with a 383 stroker rebuilt back in 2011. The car runs great and has driven to / from Chicago twice. Im just hoping, since we are past the warranty period, that the car keeps behaving!

We had our engine replaced on our Jeep Wrangler and the service was exceptional!

So far not a happy customer. Drove my vechile home and then to work. When i went to park it ...it got stuck in reverse. It turns out my shift control cable was bent when they re connect my motor. Then the very next day the mechanic that fixed the cable...noticed my car is burning oil! Drove home the car is smoking and rpms are racing up?. Guess its going back....second chance to get it right!

This place is a rip off, they are callous and either inept or uncaring about how your repairs are performed. They tell you what they want you to hear until your vehicle is in their shop and then they act as though they are doing you a favor. They dont use new parts and are only concerned with getting paid and getting you out the door. Very poor customer service and not trustworthy.

I wouldnt use them again and wouldnt advise or suggest them to my family or friends, maybe not even to my enemies.

Im not dealing with them because they lied to me!!!!!!! Told me If I got my lq4 block hot tanked Id have to bore over 10 as well tf
