Always a thrill going to stores in small communities like Dixon. They really know thier markets and have everything a person in a small town without public transportation would or could possibly need all within walking distance.

This is a decent place to go, however the service is always really slow and sometimes wait up front for the person to come and check you out while theyve been in the back stocking shelves. I know thats kind of the whole point of this place theyre probably saving money on employees however if youre willing to wait for the inconvenience we will probably save a few bucks. At this location if you have Verizon for a cell phone dont expect to get much of a cell phone signal in here. It apparently is a black hole when it comes to cell phone signals in this building. Make all your calls before you go and your list of what you need as well.

Dollar general has a super manager on the west end of Dixon that is much better and larger than the one on the east side of town. Go shop there and be amazed.
