Reasonable amount of time waiting with prices that will vary on what you have done twenty five dollars an hour for labor

The staff at Whaleys are helpful and very knowledgeable about their products. They give the best tier balances in the city!!! But I wish theyre tire prices were more competitive and affordable.

This company a half star! I had a nail in a tire on a brand new car bought in Dec. 2020. My friend called to see if/ how much taking a tire and putting it on the rim, the cost was $24.00. I struck out from my hotel to have it changed, the donut tire, provided by Toyota, does not drive well. Upon arriving @ Jim Whaley had someone immediately at the counter to serve me. Only when I expressed ok desire to transfers used tire to you rim they refused me service. How did it change in a short drive just blocks away?

My son took my jeep in for an alignment this morning. Unfortunately, he had to go to work right after. He tells me my jeep is still pulling. Once he gets home we examine the jeep and nothing at all was done. You can tell by the bolts and threads that nothing was moved at all but yet I was charged $105 for an alignment! For what???? Very disappointed!!!

You may want to make sure, your managers that receives the customers at the counter are personable, friendly, and kind. First impressions sets the tone for your whole business,from start to finish. Great customer service starts with the boss, the supervisors, and managers, etc etc

The crew at this location went above and beyond in helping my family get back on the road. While traveling home from a Florida vacation, our vehicle developed a sticking brake caliper. They were only open for 20 more minutes when we arrived. Yet, they worked on our vehicle for at least a half hour past closing to get us going. All this and a super respectable price!A++++ Service

People were nice. Got charged for a service they did not perform. ( Its their policy). Did not have rotors turned- instead bought new ones. Still charged for having them turned.. had problem after new rotors put on.. they did check the issue and then tried to sell us new calipers which would be $258 on the almost $400 we had already spent .

Very friendly and quick! I drove to Alabama from Miami and had a problem with the connection to my car battery. They replaced the terminals and fixed the wires in no time and were very reasonably priced!

I showed up on Saturday 10/05/19 pulling a loaded tandem axle trailer with a bad bearing. I dealt with the service manager on duty and one of the mechanics. (Sorry I do not remember their names.) But they took what I thought was going to be a trip into hell trying to get this trailer fixed on a Saturday but these two turned it into a pleasant experience. The service manager was kind and helpful and between him and the mechanic they were able to get me back on the road in a relativity short amount of time.

I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants a fair price. I called in and was given a quote and an hour timeline. Brought the vehicle in. First, I and my family waited 20 minutes in our vehicle until someone came to get it. Asked again to confirm the price when they took it back. Then we waited in the waiting room for an hour and forty minutes for them to get it done and charge us DOUBLE the quoted price. Instead of getting upset and acting out in front of customers, I paid quietly and asked to see the clerk in private to discuss the matter. Maybe I should have acted a fool in front of the full waiting room so that they refunded part of my bill. They wouldn’t budge. If the price was set as such that is fine. However to quote a price two times and then charge double is absurd. They will absolutely not get our business again.

I stopped by with a nail in my tire looking for a repair. They gave me a time frame and price, I waited longer than estimated but they were busy and I was just happy to be getting it fixed. Well they not only repaired my tire but then didnt charge me since I waited longer than promised. Wonderful service!!!

Jim Whaleys always does it right and always at good prices. Being a customer for 15+ years - theyve never steered me in the wrong direction! If you were doubtful of going here you shouldnt be. Do be prepared for a long wait time as they are generally very busy whenever I have gone. For an oil change, tires rotated and balanced, and filters checked took over an hour (let me reiterate that that is IF they are busy). I would recommend dropping your car off if you can and let them call you when it is done. I recommend anyone and everyone I can to go to them!

They did a good job replacing our tires but the man at the desk didnt seem to like me at all, which was weird because I was very polite and was about to girl over nearly $1000 for his services. Im pretty sure he was the manager. Overall professional, just not very friendly to me, like he didnt want to deal with a woman. We also waited like 4 hours, which was more than expected.

THE ONLY REASON I GAVE THEM 1 STAR IS SO I COULD POST THIS !!!!This place is a total rip off. Took vehicle in while back for a certain problem. They checked it out and said it was a number of things. Ok, they said they fixed them and charged 1400.00. Vehicle worked fine for about 2 weeks, then started doing the same thing that we took it in for the first time. Took it back should be under warranty, but no, they said you need this and this to correct the problem and they want another 1200.00 +. Why didnt they fix it the first time, its so they could rip you off for more money thats why. Will never use these people again!

I was just getting tires put on my car and it turned into an all day headache for Jim Whaleys. I didnt have the key to unlock the locks on the lug nuts and they had to break then off. They worked all day and didnt give up. I thought for sure i was going to have a crazy bill, but i didnt!! They were more than fair on my bill. I will definately be going back for all my tire/wheel needs.
