I’d like to start by saying that the first person that helped me was so nice. Everything after was horrible. I was highly recommended to hook the equipment up myself and so I did bc it isn’t difficult. Once It was installed I couldn’t pick up a connection. 1st call they said there was still a connection from previous customer in the apt. 2nd person said there was an outage. 3rd person said something was wrong with the wires in the wall and someone would have to come fix it for $100. They just want to rob me of $100 to flip a switch from their desk. I’ve gotten a different answer each time. Im tired of being lied to.
Earlier this week, I called to upgrade services for My mom! First of all, Id attempted to do this twice by phone previously. No luck. #There was no channel list associated with account on line 😑2. Could not add services online.Wow. So, 2 weeks later, I am determined and made the out of the blue call and got a sweet lady who was able to do everything for me within 5 minutes.

Performed maintenance in my area and my internet went completely out. This was on Tuesday. Won’t send a technician out to my home to fix their mess up until Sunday. For the amount I pay for just internet every month, someone should be able to do something before 5 days.

This is the worst WiFi you could ever get DONT GET IT it’s overpriced and then it did even work half of the time. And it’s really slow. Don’t waste your money on this please.

They dont provide internet service to my address but they do 1 mile down the road. There is no local number to talk to some one in that area about getting the service brought another mile or too just a 1800 number that all they wanna do is talk about account number. I dont have one because you do provide service there.
Forget about getting anyone to help you on the phone. Because thats FREE. They want to send someone out to your home that will cost you $$$. All I need is help pairing my remote with the TV. I keep putting in I have an ONN TV but the screen keeps saying its JVC. HELP

I was told I should take a defective cell phone to Dothan Store. I told the greeter that I had mobile phone issue and he said to wait outside. I did. Then after a wait outside in the cold that was too long. I was allowed inside where I was now told that I would have to take my mobile phone to Tallahassee FL, they dont do anything with anything mobile. Cant even look at my mobile phone account! I said that the customer service phone advisor told me to take my phone to Dothan Store. I said I wasnt sure they worked on mobile phones. I was assured they do. Xfinity Mobile cant be #1 in customer service. Thats a laught!!!
We are having trouble with our DVR. I have called and called. Husband even went to the store to swap it out. Guess what? No one is working in the office. No one will return calls and you cannot get a REAL person on the phone. In this time, with Covid going on, we need our cable. Have been doing business with Comcast for YEARS!!! This is totally unacceptable.

You have some people in the Customer Service Department that are willing to help you and then you have some that are not. I paid 50 dollars for service and I no longer needed the service because I received a hotspot from Verizon . There was one customer service rep that said I would get my money back in one-two weeks and the other said six-eight weeks . I don’t know about any other companies but it takes all of two seconds for my money to be taken from my account but a whole six to eight weeks for me to receive a refund . I don’t understand how that is . I work hard for my money . There was also another incident that happened prior to dealing with my home phone number that we’ve had for over fifty years and my dumb ass still gave them another chance . I would not recommend unless you would like to have a complicated time .
I visited this store to pick up equipment and do self install. I evacuated Panama City and Hurricane Michael and needed internet for communications and putting in claims. Comcast was unable to set up an install because communications issues related to Michael so I choose pickup and manual install. A young lady was very nice and delivered my equipment to me very quickly.
This company is horrible. I would rather watch black and white television than deal with them. There service has constant interruptions and they try to charge you for canceling service when the area you are moving to cannot be serviced by them. Rip off. Spectrum is much better.

Folks at counter were really nice and very helpful. But the greed and ruthlessness of this company will never be fixed, Id bet. The three stars are for the employees. The company on the other hand would have a bazillion star DEFICIT if it were only possible. Complete garbage, rediculously overpriced and the actual services are questionable, at best. Constant issues with cable, phone and internet.

Worst internet service available. That is if it worksThey install faulty equipment in you home so they can add on technical fees to have it fixed. Up to 80 dollars. Monthly billing is not consistent, with contract. No local phone number for you to call. Will never go back. No credits to billing when you go 2 weeks with out service. It Sucks. Highly recommend using a different provider if possible

Your company customer service is a joke! I called to have my service transferred because I bought a house and was moving. They informed me that there was a service block on my new address from a previous resident. I took my deed to the local office and they said they would take care of it. After waiting for over a week the local office called me and said the issue was resolved but that I would have to go through the whole New Contract and Credit Check Process because they had shut off my service at the old address. I DID NOT ASK FOR A SHUTOFF!!!! I ASKED FOR A TRANSFER! My credit has been beat to death with inquiries during the mortgage process and I will not allow another senseless credit check when I have been a existing Comcast customer for 10 years! Screw you Comcast. Ill go elsewhere!

A day Ive waited for a long time will happen this Friday. I can finally tell Comcast goodbye. Ive put up with them juggling my bill, their snotty CS people, their stupid phone system, and outright lies and more lies. I started in 1968, but the last year has been just too much. I have had 4 prices raises in 4 months. They do not value their customers at all.
Man i love my syfi channel and they got it on lock, they have friendly service and will hook you up in no time, great technology. & great technicians you got to love that.
I JUST SPENT 5 MIN TALKING TO A ROBOT TO TRY AND GET HELP AND THEN AFTER IT WAS ABLE TO GET ME TO AN AGENT THE NEXT ROBOT INFORMED ME THAT ALL AGENTS WERE BUSY AND TO TRY AGAIN LATER THEN HUNG UP ON ME! REALLY I COULDNT STAY ON HOLD UNTIL SOMEONE CAN HELP ME.

Ive been trying to call Comcast billing dept for 8 days and wait on hold for 20 minutes then it hangs up or you can leave a message. Ive left 5 messages and have not heard anything yet....sad sad smh... But I bet they will turn me off for none Payment and charge a reconnect fee
The customer rep was very nice even though she was from another area of service. She helped in many ways and got what we needed done, satisfactied.
Comcast is the poorest provider I have encountered except for Dish Network. Since being in Dothan I have not had functional e-mail capability. Time Warner installers at least work with you until everything works. Comcast is more like a do it yourself arrangement. They sold me a free modem and router. I had to wait over 6 months for a rebate. Today I went to turn in my equipment and their records say that I have one of their modems. My best experience is with Direct TV but if you relocate to a residence that wont allow a dish or which doesnt have a southern exposure they may try to hold you to your contract. Not sure. I did have this issue with Dish network.
Comcast is the worst. I hate this company but I am stuck with them until someone comes along and offers a matching internet speed. There customer service is complete A-Holes, dont care, try to just rid of you without solving anything.One day someone else will be available that can compete and I pray the entire company will completely die.

Not worth it
We live on Westgate Pkwy and the internet is out more than it is on so I cant imagine how the signal is in subdivisions. The prices continuing to rise and they have now tagged on a data surcharge and data cap which was not in our original agreement. Corp giant company sux. Cust srv tech is a joke always claiming that it is our all in one modem (Comcast recommended & programmed modem) is fried but it works just fine when there is actually an internet signal - go figure. Shopping around now for a new provider. Bye bye comcast.
Lead misinformation horrible
Took a while for it to be hooked up but then when it did, they doubled my internet speed for like 5 bucks.
They keep trying to get me to get cable. They are high enough with just the Internet.
They get you in with low prices then go up. The service is great but very expensive.
Comcast is inept as resolving simple issues such as burying cables. You usually get transferred 2 to three 3 while waiting 15mins in-between transfers. Once you actually speak with someone, their English is questionable and you have to repeat or explain yourself multiple times. Highly recommend going with another service provider if you are looking for and ISP around Dothan.
The office here in Dothan, Al. do not know how to schedule an appointment at all! We were suppose to get all three services when we signed back up with you but when they came to install they only had a work order and equipment for Internet and cable. I went to office here in Dothan and they signed me an appointment for July 1st.....nobody showed up, then I went back to office here in Dothan and he told me that they do not have to come out and it would be changed in 7-10 days and they would call me when it was done...never heard from anyone....then went back to office here in Dothan and they gave me another appointment for today, August 15th between 8-10.... AGAIN nobody showed up. Called your 1-800 # and they said I have no appointment scheduled!!! So I am on the phone again with my 5th customer service rep, who they have ALL been so nice to me and have all had apologies of what I have gone through, one said no fee to come back out, one said a $20.00 discount on my next bill and so on and so fourth but none have helped me so far. This one I am taking to now has been so very nice too and we will see if this is going to be the one.....fingers crossed 👍

So my cable has been off the entire weekend. The lines are constantly busy and I have yet to have been able to reach anyone. Service and customer service is horrible!!!!!!!!
The service isnt the isssue with me, however, my bill increases with each cycle! Customer service isnt capable of giving me an explination as most employeed arent proficent in English and located in other countries. Im going to the Comcast office today, with my last 4 months bills in an effort to get this resolved. If this doesnt solve the problem I will try another company for sure but it wont be Dish!

I have been a customer of Comcast in Dothan for over 20 years. From the time when they first came to the area and offered only 20 channels till now when I use their highspeed internet, phone, and digital cable services. It is also worth noting that I am a computer repair technician by trade and have worked with Comcast in a professional capacity as well (triage internet/network/computer installations or calling them when a computer repair job turns out to be a fried modem or the like).I cant account for the claims made against Comcast by other reviewers here. The problems they describe are non-existent in my own experiences. Ive have relatively few clients complain to me about them either. In fact my experience with them has been, frankly, better than I could have hoped for.Through Comcast I have rock solid reliable service with only the occasional outage. When I do have an outage it is usually in the wee hours of the morning (2-3 am) and typically only lasts for 10-15 minutes. My internet speeds are actually *higher* that what I was promised in my plan. Telephone service is... well... its telephone service... but no complaints. And, other than the odd way premium channels are bundled (something every cable provider does), I have no complaints with the television service ether. If I was going to complain it would be about the price (most expensive in town last i checked)... but for such great service I feel its worth it.Customer service has typically been a step above. They have, on numerous occasions, gone out of their way to help us with problems. When we suffer technical issues with our DVR or modem they replace it promptly. When we have technical issues beyond the DVR or modem they come on site within a day or two to diagnose and solve the problem. When we have outages in our area service is typically back on within an hour or two.Having had a great deal of experience with every internet provider in Dothan and the immediate area I can honestly say that, for internet, Comcast is hands down the best choice here. Time Warner is in second by the simple act of not being a bad choice. Centurylink and Graceba/Knowlegy/whatever their name is this week are tied for last with Centurylink having the slowest speeds and the most dishonest business practices and Knowlegy having the most unreliable service (though it seems to have gotten better in the last year or two).I dunno what else to say except that if you live in or around Dothan, are having serious problems, and you have Comcast as your provider... then mostly likely the problem isnt Comcast. for example, if you live in an apartment you could have bad wiring in the building or sub-par splitters could be being used (Ive seen both more than a few times in Dothan). Comcast cant do anything about such problems. Have to talk to your super for those.
