So I waited in line very patiently, the man asked every guest in line what they needed except for me and went back to what he was doing. I just dont know why he asked everyone what they needed except for me while we were waiting. Had he asked me my time would not have been wasted and he could have saved me 30 minutes of my time just by asking what I was waiting for and he could have let me know he didnt have stuff to laminate. Thanks for wasting my time office max and asking everyone what they needed except for me. Just thought that was really weird.

DO NOT visit this location for FedEx drop off!I dropped off my package Saturday afternoon and asked when it would be picked up Monday says the single person behind the counter.When I tracked the package today, it still hadnt been picked up so I called. Oh! FedEx must have forgotten it, but you can come and pick it up and take it to the drop off box up the streetARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!Never again!

On September 22 at approximately noon, I took six books to Office Max on Chapel Hill Road in Douglasville to have spiral binding. I was told I could pick them up on September 23 at about the same time. I went to Office Max at approximately 2:30 on 9/23 and one of the books had not been completed. I was not called to say that they were not completed because of a machine breakdown. If they had called, I certainly would have understood and come after completion. The lady waiting on me called the manager, Missy. Neither one of the ladies apologized for my order not being completed. They offered me approximately .30 or to come back the next day. I dont think that I should have received a larger discount but they could have apologized. Better yet, they should have called to let me know the order had not been completed.

Quite possibly the worst FedEx Ship Site I have ever been to. We waited our estimated 20 minute wait after signing in, plus ten more minutes until they said it would be 20 more minutes to hand them a box we already had closed, packed and shipment paid for. Then the lady behind the counter was extremely rude and lectured us for not signing in (we did sign in). All we needed was to literally hand her something and walk away.

About a week ago I had the pleasure of meeting the store manager Justin who helped me with the purchase of a business laptop. His professionalism and knowledge far exceeded what I was expecting. I am taking time to write this review, which I almost never do, because people like this gentleman should be commended for their outstanding service to the public. Thanks, Justin. Some people here will help you, genuinely, but if Im paying you extra to help me with my printing, you need to do all of it, and it disatisfies me when Im refused service after offered. This isnt pick-and-choose-pay-extra, this is pay-you-to-print.

Asked to have 12 X 36 yard poster, double sided for an event at 200pm. It took over 30 minutes for young lady to have manager help with order. I asked if print would be completed around 1200 and was told yes.Because of the long delay in placing order, I feel behind with meeting vendors. When I arrive after 1200 I was told that the poster was printed upside down on one side and that they would have to reprint and would be additional 45 minutes. Although the print was printed wrong there was obviously not attempt to fix it until I arrived.Manager show me error in the two sided poster, which could have been easily fixed by removing and reapplication but young lady FOLDED poster in thirds which was unacceptable for sale.Im so distraught from this experience and will not make it time to event I am hosting.

I’ve come into office max several times to print and never had an issue. However today Jaylin, the female employee who was working at the printing desk was ridiculously rude and unprofessional to my friend and I.So I signed in at 5:10pm. After waiting a few minutes in line we tell Jaylin that we’d like 3 things printed on standard paper. we specifically mentioned several times that we wanted whatever the cheapest paper is but in a larger size than a standard sheet. So she confirms our copies and says shes going to print them. For the next 45 minutes, yes you heard me, 45 minutes for a print, she proceeded to help literally every other customer that came in. Shes taking them ahead of us and printing their stuff in less than 5 minutes. Shes answering questions, the full 9 yards of communication with every other customer besides us. We stood there for 45 minutes until we finally asked when our stuff would be ready. She says “one second” and literally prints them immediately... so she had us standing there for no reason. Then we go up to the desk to pay, and we’re irritated but we’re not gonna say anything. She says “the total is $51”. My friend asks “why is it so much? Its never been that high before” and she just side eyes us and shes like “thats just what it costs”. So my friend asks “no but again, why is it so high?”. We found out it’s because she gave us poster board paper instead of regular paper like we specifically mentioned several times in the beginning of this process. So we ask “can we just redo this but with the correct paper?” And she stares at us blankly. At this point other customers are staring and its very uncomfortable. So we say “its fine lets just cancel it” and she throws the posters in the trash and says “you’re free to go” after all of that.Morale is, I hope that if you plan on getting some things printed from this store that you happen to come while Jaylin is not working. She made us and the other customers around us extremely uncomfortable and wasted a chunk of our day.I’ve never had to leave a bad review for a store and complain about an employee, I try not to be a Karen but this was ridiculous and needs to be acknowledged.

Most of these comments are complaining for littlest things like a bunch of babies. I come here all the time and this young lady named Onny is super nice and tries her best to help out any customer. If i ever had a problem, i go directly to her and she always satisfy my needs. This store is underrated and the employees work to hard to be receiving childish comments. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Actually the rating is a negative star. I placed a order last night to pick up the next day. The invoice that I received showed that the location had 1 remaining in stock. Today I find out that the remaining items is the display item. Customer service instructed me to select another item or try another location. I will not be granted my discount because it was on sale. I canceled my remaining order that is waiting for pick up. I will never purchase anything else from Office Max.Update. I spoke with Justin this morning and he resolved my issue. I even purchased more items than previous selected.

This store had great, personable, immediate service! Thus, they get a 4. Office Max has good service and good products. However, its needs an update. The stores seem to consistently look yellow and dated. Maybe change the lighting, and make topical design changes? Best Buy, which is a different service, has a more up to date look and feel. Office Max looks like the way of paper... Soon to be obsolete with its feel.

The main reason I go to office max is when I need copies apart from my own printer. The line to the full service copy area is always backed up, there are not enough employees to man the area, and people are exasperated in the line. Always this way!!!

I had my daughter to go pick up a print job after making sure I gave detailed instructions in my email of what I asked for. My daughter said that the line was pretty long and the guy was trying to rush out of there because he was getting off. When I called to rectify the correction I was put on hold for 12 minutes and then when an employee came to the phone, named Misty, I was hung up on. Believe me, I know the difference between being hung up on and a disconnect phone. Even though it was only one color print copy, maybe $.32, it is the principle of not reading the email instructions and then hanging up on me when I called that is deserving of this poor review. The guy that normally works back in printing that wears the glasses always seems to be very irritated every time I go there. I understand the lines are long, but you have a job to do and if you don’t like the job that you’re doing quit and find another job.

Everyone at this location was very friendly and helpful. When I called the store Keith answered all my questions. When I arrived at the store a tall, slender, black male asked me if I needed any help and, pointed me in the direction I was looking for. At print services Donald was helping multiple customers and, still managed to give me great service. My experience at this location was great and, I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Worst experience everOrder blue prints and where supposed to be ready same day, I didnt show up to pick up until next day, was there at 8am but they didnt open the doors until 8:15 am, I go to the desk at copy and print and the lady there there didnt help at all, had a bad attitude and didnt know what she was doing.This is my first and last time ordering blue prints here, office max is not what it used to be, our customer service is going down the drain, people dont care anymore to do a good job!

It is convenient. The rewards program is agreeable. Usually I order online and pick-up at the store. It makes shipping free and allows me to recycle ink cartridges for rewards, although they do not always show up.

I walk in to the store.. it’s 89 degrees.. go to the back to get blueprints for one of my jobs. And this is when I encounter one of the worst customer service representatives I’ve ever come across.. OMNY.. told us to come check out, then walks off. All she could talk about was going home.. if you have to come here, do NOT deal with her!!

Omg! I have been in 3 Office Maxs in the last 5 weeks. This one is THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER WITNESSED! So friendly and helpful as soon as you step in. I was shopping for an office chair. I knew what I wanted; this process took weeks of online and in person shopping. The young lady that helped me and the cashier who checked me out were SUPER AWESOME. Good job ladies! Customer Service is a lost art, but NOT at Office Max Douglasville! 😁

I ordered bookshelves for an office. They never delivered the item. When I called to inquire why there was no delivery they said they had no record of the transaction. I told them I had a receipt and it was posted to my credit card.They had no response other than, in my opinion, what amounted to a bunch of unintelligible responses..In my opinion there is no sign of intelligent life there.Thank goodness for Staples.I do not think they deserve the one star rating as they should get none but I cant post this without at least one star.

I only go here for prints and for some reason every time I come and white guy (sorry didnt catch his name) is on prints we have a problem with something. Hes very rude and always makes excuses as to why he cant get our prints in the same day as OfficeMax clearly states that they do. I havent had any issues with anyone else on printing just him. This should definitely be looked into.

I find it really sad that this is the only office supply store in Douglasville and to have to rely on the customer service in this store is an absolute joke. I was just there trying to buy ink, the lady at the register was taking forever to try and figure out which credit card she could get her transaction to go on. The cashier didnt bother to call for backup, there were 4 people in line and the two people in front of me walked out. After standing in line for almost 10 minutes and still not being helped I chose to walk out also. They lost 3 customers in a matter of 10 minutes because they couldnt call to get anybody else to open up a register. I now have to leave Douglasville and drive to Lithia Springs just to be able to buy ink for my printer this place is an absolute joke.

O.M.G.!! The Copy & Print supervisor (Ebony) is very knowledgeable and helpful. I was in a bad mood because I was having some problems with a work project and she assisted me with peaceful patience and a smile to match. She didnt just help me, she showed me how to do what I was attempting to do so that I would have this problem anymore. I also found that she is loyal to Office Max because I had a bad experience here once before with a different employee, whom I havent seen in about a year, and I began to vent about that experience and I may have said some things against Office Max. But Ms. Ebony only had positive feedback and suggested that maybe that particular employee was having a bad day. VERY PROFESSIONAL. 👍🏿👍🏿 Because of Ebony, her professionalism, and wonderful smile.. I had to wait 45 minutes to print something urgent for my class. When it was finally my turn they werent able to print my resource images for my school project because they werent my images. Even though Ive printed images that were from google for papers, projects and such before. I was stuck with 0 options. If they wouldnt of taken so long then I wouldnt of had to waste 45 minutes of my day waiting in line for nothing. Then women at the printing counter was also very rude. I was extremely unhappy leaving the store and dont think Ill be coming back for anything.

I worked here for a year and a half and ended up working my way up the chain pretty easily but I was taken advantage of. I started off as a sales associate and made my way up to Print and Copy Supervisor. However, I always had to work overtime, I rarely got a lunch break, schedules would be changed without warning, and the pay was very low. I started at $8.40 and hour but when I was promoted, my wage was supposed to go up to $10.00 and after 4 months of being promised I would get my pay raise, it never happened. Office Max did have good management and associates at one point but regional managers have a way of driving all of the good workers away. The last managers (Arlene and Missy) I dealt with was a compulsive liar and messed with time clocks which ended up in me getting paid less than what I was working for. Sadly, I am not the only past employee of Office Max this has happened too. I once loved my job there but it went down hill very quickly and was an untrustworthy place to work at.
