Mostly depressing but good for if you need to pick up some socks or cheap coffee maker on your lubchbreak. The employees are always nice but not very quick at checking out. Be prepared to take your time if you have a lot of items.

This was awesome. My girlfriend is a 20 year Air Force retired . It was cool that she was able to take me around and show me the base.

This place is one of the larger exchanges Ive been to.. great selection of food in the food court and they even offer great clothing selections. Staff is great and the electronics and sports sections are are on the 2nd floor. I spend all day when I visit.

My husband and I drove there from Maryland to take care of some personal business at the bank that is located inside the Exchange and afterwards did some shopping. Every time we go there we always find GREAT deals on clothes. I purchased two pairs of Michael Kors pants for $29 originally $99. You cant beat that! Love it!!!

Love this place!!! Great prices on things that I would typically get at Walmart! I forgot my sons bottle at home and was not in a position to get so we went to the BX and got 3 bottles for almost the price of one! The nipples we needed didnt come in the size we needed and only one size which sucked and they need to get a better selection! However, the nipples where priced over a dollar cheaper than the competitors!! Love this place, just wish they had everything, but if they did no one would leave the base!

I was imaging the BX would be like the one at Ft Meade. Very disappointed...

I go here to check out all the new Calvin Klein clothes they have. I cant for the life of me figure out why their prices are the same as a higher end store? It should be cheaper for Airmen and their families...still a good store to check out. They also have designer handbags and perfume, etc. Bring lots of money, you will need it to shop here. 😁

Dont go often but am appreciative of it being available. Not much offered for older veterans who have gotten bigger with age.

It is an AAFES store. They are all the same. No complaints!

My first visit to Dover Base exchange as a retired military person. Clean facility and quiet on Saturday afternoon. Found some good bargins.

Very nice staff. Prices are hit or miss but they do offer price matching. Ordering online is nice bc they dont hold everything here.

Beautiful ornaments for Christmas. Didnt have the money to get any though. Must have a military ID to get on-base much less use any of the facilities.

Good deals weekly and alcohol and clothing.

This base isnt so big so coming here is always fast and barely any lines. People are always nice and courteous.

Everyone at the hospital was so friendly and helpful. Then the commissary was easy this time. All the systems are so planned out it makes it easy. We dont take it for granted, We count our blessings.

Only a fourth the size it was before Biden screwed the military. Took away our hospital, BX and tried his best to take our commissary and beach away. So for the downsizing done when he was governor its still okay.

Love going to the BX when visiting.

Nice little exchange at Dover AFB. Much smaller than expected but had everything we needed. Nice employees and very clean facility.

Not a very big BX, but nice. They dont really compete with other local merchants which is sad, because Delaware already has tax free shopping. What is the point of going to the BX if I can go somewhere else that is more competitive?

Ive visited my share of BXs in CONUS and overseas, this is the worst Base Exchange ever!!! Overpriced and very little choices in mens clothing. They just did away with the jewelry dept and an employee was heard saying pretty soon the store will close too. I laugh at all the comments that say this is a excellent/great/nice little store. Obviously not shopping at or commenting on the Dover BX. How can anyone in their right mind give this place 5-stars...........LOL

We wanted to buy an AF hat that didnt have a price the cashier didnt want to go fine out the price for us. She provided very poor customer services because she ssid it will take to long to fine out the price for us. It was on Friday December 29 around 2:00 inthe afternoon.

It could be better overseas is better and jersey is much better selection wise on colthes and what not ashame really considering dover is a huge area you think the base would have more to offer but unfortunately your are better off shopping at Wal-Mart etc. As far as the commissary somethings are cheaper than most grocery stores but not by much hopefully things will improve in the future if not theres always jersey

This might be one of the best Air Force exchanges. It is very large with great selections. I went looking for a tablet computer and needed the help of a knowledgeable salesperson; I got it! An associate spent a good deal of time explaining the differences among low level laptops, iPads, tablets and chromebooks. I bought a chromebook.

Rarely has much we want to buy and it isn’t any cheaper than other places that are more convenient to us. I’ve been to Aafes with much better selections, unfortunately the stuff the have there (especially kids stuff) looks like someone’s Grandma picked it out.

You cant get everything cheaper here but there are quite a few items you can and they have good bakery items. I can find cleaning goods cheaper, most canned goods & snacks are cheaper. Pet foods are generally cheaper.

Unfortunately, their selection isnt great due to the competition of the local stores and the lack of sales tax. If theyd have stuff that nobody else carries, then theyd regain their edge.
