I fixed my car alarm and security system here and the service was great! You need to call for an appointment, and then drop your car there. They have variety services and great customer care. I had gone back after some weeks due to a very sensitive car sensor and they fix it at no cost. Its a little bit pricey compared to other places I research, but good services comes at a cost.

When it comes to outstanding service, I can’t say enough here. Ordered the H-D speaker package. Jamie pieced it out and put the entire package together. Had it paid for and shipped same day. Arrived in my porch a day later. I can’t be more thrilled with the professional service. I have a new place for all my audio and wiring needs.

Professional staff, worked with Jaimie I think it was, good selection of systems. Reasonable prices.Some advice when you go, make sure you know exactly what your car is, make, model, year, etc. They base ordering their parts off of this information so if you dont provide the right information itll take longer for them to work out what they need to install your system.Only drawback in my experience was we had to go back repeatedly to get our system finished because they either ordered the wrong parts or didnt order a part they needed. Would go here again regardless!

Wonder experience with purchasing & installing wheels and tires. Jamie was extremely helpful & very pleasant to work with...great customer service is hard to come by these days but youll definitely receive the 5 star treatment at this Dover location! There was a little glitch with one of the wheels (not their fault, probably occurred during shipping) he got the manager and theyre making it right. Outstanding.

Took me two months to get an appointment then the employee told me my car would be done at 5:30 that day and that they close at 6pm I told the guy to call me when they got close to finishing so I could get my ride in order he said ok. I didnt hear from anyone from the shop by 5:33pm so I got a lyft I paid 40 dollars to get there by 6 pm. I called the store when I was 2 thirds of the way there and the guy said my car wasnt going to be done until the following day I have a wedding to go to the following day and will be gone a couple days and as you can imagine this is totally unacceptable so Ill be going someplace else from now on I dont recommend this place horrible service Ill take my cars and bikes to Wilmington from now on to have sound systems enstalled

Kinda pricy but to each his own.

Theres a couple reasons why I gave them only one star. For one they sent me the wrong unit. I appreciate the fact that they sent me an upgraded unitbecause the unit that I ordered they didnt have in stock. For 1 they should pay better attention to their stock and keep everything updated properly. There was a specific reason that I ordered the older modelit was because the new model has been having issues and a lot of returns so thats why I specifically ordered the older unit. it would have been right of them to call me message me some how to let me know that the unit that I wanted they did not have. they offered me know percentage off my next purchase or anything other for the inconveniences other than ship it back to us and we will refund your money. The unit was to go into a customers car. So while I ship that unit back tothem I have to take money out of my own pocket to order a new unit for my customer cuz they said once they received the unitand processed it it would take three to five business days before I would get a return in money. They sure have no issue taking your money out instantly but taking their time putting it back in! Sound of Tri-State used to be a greatcompany but theyve gotten too big for their shoes and forgot what customer service is!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I tried to shop local and support small business, but Ill never deal here again. I bought a head unit as a Christmas present and then it malfunctioned. They told me to bring it in and they would give me a new one. When I took it in to swap it at the very end he told me it would be $20 to cover the shipping. It was beyond 30 days because it was a present but that didnt matter. What a joke in this day and age for it to be $20 to ship something, and they didnt even have the decency to tell me over the phone. Amazon would have taken care of it for no charge and they will be my source for any audio purchase in the future. Be warned Sound of Tri-State will not stand behind their products.

Bought online from them through their EBay store. Had an issue with the amp I purchased and they warranted it without a problem. They were helpful with technical advice and overall very pleasant to deal with. I also bought a touchscreen receiver from them. I will definitely give them repeat business.

Scheduling process was easy even though I had a groupon. They were totally familiar with it and informed me on what to expect. When I had arrived they said I owed more than what I was quoted over the phone, but they fixed the issue. The associate walked me to my car and explained how the remote starter worked. Seem to know what they’re doing with sound systems in cars they have a good sales staff. I had my Mustangs windows tinted and they left marks from a screwdriver on the side of the interior door and they also for some reason took my doors apart and the weatherstripping that touches the window was bent. I had to take the door apart and fix it and they also left a lot of glue residue on the window would not recommend for tinting. Completely unacceptable.

( first time going here )Brought a radio in that had no harness, they told me theyd have to special order a new harness for $40, knowing that was a rip off I bought the exact one I needed online for $9. The guy I talked to even had a cord that looked like it would fit but he said it didnt, the cord I bought looked exactly the same. My guess is he lied about it not fitting and the price.

Recently had some subs and amp installed that I purchased from here. Bass knob I supplied with the previous purchases subs and amps was lost and never connected. Returned it a few days later to have the bass knob replaced and installed. 2 days after having it installed and finally testing the subs started to smell burning. Was told that I could have the work looked at next week. I felt as though that wasnt safe for me to ride (scared something may catch on fire) so I decided to pop up to the store. They tell me that 1 of the 12 T1 subs I had installed was blown and that was the reason for the strong burning smell. Was wondering how it could have possibly blown when it wasnt being used. And everything was still set to however they installed it. Upset that I spent $800 to have installed for it to not even work properly for 1 week.

Absolutely horrible experience online and over the phone. I spent 200$ on a car starter and it was defective. I sent the old one back and it sat at the front desk for over a month. I never got my return and called the Philadelphia store thinking maybe Ill just drive 4 hours to finally get my item. The person was extremely rude and hung up on me. I called the store where I shipped my package to and was told that my item never made it back to the return area. It was still sitting on the front desk. The person shipped me a replacement one and when I the item came in it was extremely corroded and was heavily used. I called them back and the person said that he didnt see any problem and that he didnt see any corrosion in the photos I sent him. This item was purchased for Christmas around December 3 and its now July 8 with no resolve and no one will do anything for me.

Good customer service but should have contacted me in advance to avoid need for customer service. I ordered a particular car stereo for my vehicle based on the features and size. It was upgraded to a higher model but the form factor (size) was slightly different. I should have been contacted for approval of the substitution. I had to contact customer service to return it. Customer service was great though, they provided a return shipping label and refund was given in a few days.

I just bought a new car off the lot in November just before winter hit hard so when I saw this Groupon for a car seat heater for $150 I had to jump on it. What a great deal and its such an indulgence to have during the winter! The guys at the desk were great and the work was done in a timely manner as promised.

I went in to have a new stereo put in my 2018 F-150 and was told that they had to check with the manufacturer of the stereo I picked out to see if it was compatible with my factory controls. In a period of 1-2 months I have called 3 times to check without a call back cause they kept saying Bobby was busy, and been in 3 times. Bobby final comes in and calls the manufacturer (1 minute this takes) to get an answer and then quotes me a price of $200 over the upstate competitors. I have sent a lot of military people there over the years...not anymore. What a waste of patience...you just lost a customer Dover store.

Just plain awesome and great for the price. Instantly made my factory speakers sound like they werent cheap. Love the customization. The only flaw is that I wished the clock was always visible when going through settings but other than that overall great for the price.

We had a DVD system installed in our new van. We actually REMOVED a Warner Bros rear seat system to make way for the system they installed. Two weeks after the work was done the entire system FELL OUT of the roof and landed on my kids knees. They installed it with drywall screws? They put it back up with no excuses but it fell out again and again. I got so fed up I pulled the whole thing out and put a panel to cover the damage. What a waste of money with these guys!!!!! Never again will I darken their door!

Have bought an amp and wiring kits and odds and ends. never the less have purchased stuff. one time they hooked me up let one of their techs look at a bogus capacitor, so i went back in and bought wire as a courtesy. so thanks guys. go back the next day and buy ring terminals. go back in today with another crap cap issue. before i even asked a question dude told me sorry cant help you again, already helped you for free once! didnt even let me finish asking to trouble shoot my cap i have and if this cap was shot i would like purchase one from you. so i just walked out in amazement. what true audio shop would do that? so i called a shop in Fairfax Virginia named sound advice the man Robert was more than willing to offer me free advice even tho i had not purchased anything from him and was over 100 hundred miles away. so anyone in Dover area needs free advice call Robert at sound advice he is willing to help any true enthusiast. you will never get my business ever again sound of tri state!!!

Nice guys but took 3 times to tint my challenger and still isnt perfect

Sales person was very helpful on the front end. Explained options and made great suggestions.Pick up was a bit hectic as my old radio was not in the car. Sales person (same) confirmed with install thst was minutes in truck due to some controls needed to work existing controls. Parts were scattered between truck and front seat.Had issue with mounting bracket and brought back and tech quickly fixed.Second job done by SOTS and overall happy.

I like the price and the speed that I got this 2 way Automate remote from. Currently I am having an issue with 100% pairing this item to my remote start system. I was able to get the 2 way Remote to pair (kind of). It will turn the car on and off and unlock it and what not. But I guess the Control Center for the Automate 4114A doesnt allow for 2 way communication back to the remote, only the Control Center for the Automate 4214A offers this type of communication. It woudl be great if Sound of Tri-State could help me confirm this; or if I need to have a dealer plug into the CPU of the Automate 4114A and unlock an option for 2 way communication back to the remote so I can get the correct confirmation tone on the remote.
