Mikes a great guy and made the shower door installation experience very easy and awesome. Shower door looks great and is well worth the money. Im happy he did discuss the star fire option for the glass as he was correct and looks much better than had I went with the regular glass. This is the second time we used Central Glass and we couldnt be happier! Mike and his team installed a semi-free standing glass shower for us last summer in our master bathroom. It was custom made and took about 3 weeks to arrive. His team were very professional, making sure we were satisfied with every detail. After making one minor change to the door swing, it was perfect. Our door was meant to swing in both directions, in and out, which is considered the most modern way for it to function. However, my husband and I are a bit old fashion, so we had the team to change it to only swing outward. They were able to make this adjustment very easily!So we loved our beautiful glass shower upon completion. Then six months later I improperly cleaned the glass with a brillo pad. I know now that wasnt very smart. Aftetwhich I noticed that I had accidentally scratched the glass! While in a panic I called Mike for help. He assured me that he would take care of it. So he came over and was able to remove the scratches! I offered to pay him but he wouldnt take any money. My bathroom glass door just shattered on its own one day due to old tracks from our sliding glass doors and I needed someone to fix/replace it ASAP. My friend who is an interior designer recommended Central Glass Chicago as a vendor because she has used them for her clients homes in the western suburbs. I called and got a response and an estimate the SAME day I called. The owner (Michael) came out, measured and priced out the work. I had 1 other estimate in the same price range, but Michael was more attentive and quicker on communication. Quick turnaround from estimate to installation. The glass doors look amazing in our bathroom and looks well sealed all around. He provides a 100% warranty for no leaks, so Im confident that if we have any issues, he will be back to help fix anything. But based on the quality of the work, I doubt we will have to call back.
