The girl that answered the phone was wonderful. Nice and Professional. Joshua came out and did the repair when promised. Not only did he do a great job but, he was a pleasure to do business with. Joshua is VERY knowledgeable and super helpful. I came in needing a piece for a coffee table that was at least 30 years old. (Has 4 small square pieces that are smoked in color and has beveled edges.) One had been broke for a while and I couldnt find anyone to make it the same as the other 3. Joshua made it perfect. I also needed.a glass top for a desk. His prices cant be beat either. Best glass place in or around Downey!

I first contacted First Place Glass about a year ago to replace the windshield on a Jeep Wrangler. A sheet of plywood fell loose from a truck on the freeway and shattered the glass. They came out within a couple hours and the Jeep was as good as new.I recently remodeled my bathroom and needed a glass shower door. I contacted Home Depot and their prices were outrageous. I contacted several other glass companies and there prices were way over budget. I finally remembered that First Place Glass also did shower doors.I called up the owner Joshua and he came out within a few days and gave me an estimate. His price was seriously lower than everyone else I had contacted. Within a few days he had his staff come in to install my new shower door. They were very courteous and professional. They installed the door quick and it was a perfect fit. I loved the work they did for me.I will definitely be calling First Place Glass for all my future needs.

I call Firstplace Glass and spoke to Josh, he was very nice, informative, and responsible, came to my property the next day to take measurements of the broken windows, I placed the order and with in days his team came by and replaced the glass. This is by far the best glass company in our area. Not only did the owner Joshua return my call promptly, he is a class act on the phone which is rare these days. He even fit me in to his busy schedule the very next morni ng for my convenience. This business owner needs to be cloned!

First Place Glass did 9 windows in my home. All of them over 50 inches, 3 of them over 90 inches. They came out flawless! Everything was done exactly how we discussed. He turned a 3 day project into 1 simple day, even with security bars. When I first called Josh (the owner), I explained to him that I was interested in getting half my windows now and half my windows later due to a tight budget. He told me, We’re going to find a way to get your whole house done now. I didnt believe him because Home Depot came to give me an estimate and quoted me almost double of what I paid to FPG. Now its done and my house looks like the one the rest of the neighborhood needs to keep up with. The crew was extremely professional, yet warm and inviting like a family owned business should be.
