I recently had an ongoing issue with an order I had placed online. After many emails and calls to Sears no one was able to help me. Sears has good employees and some that dont do their job right. THIS SEARS HAS THE BEST EMPLOYEES! From the start they understood the problem and were able to help me with my issue. I am beyond grateful that they were very supportive and helpful. The store itself is very clean and well maintained. I can tell that all the employees like their jobs. They are very friendly, I can say they walk and help you with a smile on their face (you might say, how can you tell with masks on? Well, you can! You see their smiling eyes). If I could give them 10 stars, I would. MAY I ALSO ADD, SHOP IN-STORE AND NOT ONLINE FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE. I LEARNED THE HARD WAY. THANK YOU TO Cecilia and a gentleman in merchandise pick up (cannot remember his name, but he was awesome as well), Richard and the Store Manager Mr. Carlos.

Store is closing, great sales and marked down 60 %. Until all inventory is gone. Rugs, tools, clothes, jewelry appliances.

Unfortunately time to say goodbye a long time standing store... many first (TV, camcorder, work tools, tool box, and even jewelry, fridge) countless items... now location is closing

Went to buy a Dryer machine, salesman not really motivated to make sales. Good thing Google is a fingertip alway to look up the machines to get reviews. But the guys in the online pick/ order pick up department were awesome 👌...

Sears was a big part of my childhood. This Sears in particular holds many dear memories so Im sad to see it go. I went recently and it was depressing to see how empty the store looked. Thank you for everything Sears. Youll be missed.

Dont bother go somewhere else for your goods. Ordering large appliances will always be delayed. Manager will constantly say unfortunately for everything 😒

My battery warranty expired a week previous and I explained that the Sears Automotive I purchased it from was closed. They could have honored it but since they didnt Im going with a AAA battery the next time. I already had to replace a Die Hard in California and I dont drive a lot. As a matter of fact coronavirus hit right after I purchased it so it was less than 5 thousand miles I put on that battery

The place was a dead ghost town. Its interesting to think about hie busy a department store like Sears used to be.

Grate looking store! They had lots of sales around the store, they had a grate selection and some grate deals on tools, I found some extra batterys on super mega sale!, Super happy.Stop Saying its empty!!

Son Ordered washer and dryer online because store didnt stock.Washer made it to store but store,even though paperwork showed both had arrived, could not find dryer! (Worker said storeroom almost bare so not much to go though)Contacted Online store and they said to contact Retail store but both said they lacked ability to track.They ordered another one due to be delivered yesterday, still havent heard from themSEARS/KMART IS DYING AND THIS IS ONE REASONGood appliances, bad service

I wish I can get help from SEARS the manager of the appliances department for my refund of a fridge that I bought on May 2, 2021. I have been dealing with this issue for almost one month and seems like they do not want to solve it this inconvenience for me!!!

What great customer service, the selection is good and the store is busy. Sears is keeping this store open and it shows because I like the service, the store location and how I can buy what I need without any hassles. I am glad I gave Sears another chance! I found the clothes I have been looking for, excellent quality, super affordable, and best of, the store is clean, organized, and pleasant to shop in, unlike years ago which the disarray and mess turned me off. I am certainly coming back to shop some more.

I felt like I was shopping @ D D s discount. Racks were mostly all bare. No merchandise. Plus the worst part was the checkout line. On a Sunday. Only one section of registers was open in the whole store an only 2 females working them. 30 people in line... 20 mins I Waited in line. Smh.... Sears should put chairs while in line so customers can sit . People do take your camping chairs. Cause you will be waiting. Or take the time to go to Whittier sears. They never have that problem.......

SEARS Roebuck has been ahead if its time with its Catalog ordering, along with its excellent tool section. Very safe to attend, professional and efficient Staff in Downey, California.

Clean & organized, I was in & out faster than I expected... I went in to pick up a new Range for our little home. The Rep was cool. Told him what I was looking for I showed him a pic of it on my ph. He looked it up on the stores site & called me over discussed our options & we decided & few transactions later we were on the way home. Definitely do it again, if I needed too. The whole transaction was very well executed... like butter...

Ive always liked Sears but this trip was cut short because they closed right after I got there without warning they made the announcement we are now closed and when that happens there is only one exit you can go out of which isnt where I parked so I had to walk a long way around the store to get to my car. Why close so early?

If I have to drive to Sears, I can go here, Pasadena, Burbank and between the 4 of them, they all have the great service in Sears in what I know. The service is fantastic, the auto department super service. Ive been shopping at Sears for a long time and I always have a reason to shop at Sears. I avoid Walmart, Target, Bestbuy for a reason, theyre nothing like Sears. I very proud of this store and the other Sears stores in Los Angeles when I hear they support our troops because Sears donates to our great men & women serving the the military, Walmart, Target, Bestbuy dont which is another reason to shop at Sears and this store is not closing, no sign of it here.

I need to say this: I dealt with the automotive department of Sears, at the Stonewood mall in Downey. I commend the Customer Service Staff for their professionalism in dealing with the customers. Weve got to understand that in todays world with the pandemic and all the worries associated, its not easy to give good customer service.I give them kudos for good customer service.Now, with that said, they have had some issues lately. Its apparent to me that change they have lost technicians because of covid-19 and they have not been able to give the service that they should. There always seems to be people complaining about poor service because it takes too long for them to service the vehicles. Recently I had the problem that we bought a set of tires within a promotion that if paid off in 12 months, no interest would be charged. However, when we got our 2nd statement, we were being charged interest. With 3 people working at the service desk it took about an hour to be spoken to. Not only that the gentleman that helped me put me on the phone to speak to a service person for the bank that gives the credit service. This person is not someone who works here in the U.S., this person is in another country and has an accent that is hard to understand! Not only that! It took about an hour and a half and many times repeating the same information to this person, to be able to get the acknowledgement of the billing error and the promise to correct the problem. I was very upset about that. So just know that during these pandemic days, its going to be hard to get good, fast, effective and excellent service. Once again, the people at the service desk are very friendly, polite and willing to help as much as they can. May God help us during these hard times!

Glad this location is still open. Not a lot of tools but I was there for Mens clothes. Good selection of clothes available. But I gave 3 stars because they had no fitting rooms available. Not one. No purchase because I couldnt try anything on.

Grate store in Downey! They have craftsman and DeWalt tools we all know sears in the original home for craftsman. Frustrating to see people leave negative reviews for fitting rooms not being open,ALL FITTING ROOMS ARE CLOSED! People do not understand there is a pandemic going on, they should be thankful with sears because they are taking proper precautions.

Slim pickings in here but customer service was good and I was able to order what I was looking for, but thats to be expected in these covid days.

I went to purchase a washing machine as the one that I had only lasted 4 years. I wented to the Stonewood Shopping Center in Downey. The center itself is in need of a upgrade. The mall is old and uninviting. I placed the order and I need to wait 3 1/2 weeks for delivery.

Its alright, they do sell a few nice clothing and shoes depending what you can find but this place has an bad customer service when it seems they dont have enough cashiers to be opening at the next register when the long gets line and theyre super slow. Horrible. I wouldnt be surprise if this sears were to close down too just like the one at cerritos.

I really like the deals you find here at Sears. I hope they dont close this one also. If they had more registers open I would have given them a 5 stars.

What a great experience. Almost everything I bought was at least 50%off. When I was about to pay they offered me $40 additional off if I qualified for a Sears card. I did so a $170 total became $ 130. Cant ask for anything better. Go now almost everything is supper cheap. They might be cloaing

Worst shoe department service. waited 30min for someone to show up to do a shoe match and no one showed up. cashier called assistance twice, no show.

It was really busy and looked different. I thought they were closing. They did have some great sales. I found a beautiful blazer for my daughter. She loved it.
