Such a sweet neighborhood place. It is worth the drive for these one of a kind super soft and delicious donuts. Its like biting into a cloud they are not greasy. The flavors are so unique and balanced very well. Might as well get a dozen.

They were okay. I went in for the Selena donut and they didnt make them anymore. Only special orders. So we got the horchata donut, oreo, fruity pebbles, chocolate abuelita, and one other. I liked the horchata donut. Though it wasnt as fresh. The chocolate abuelita didnt taste like it and my kids loved theirs (fruity pebbles and oreo). The coffee was bomb though. I had the iced care crema and it was so good!

This was our first visit to Donas. The building is very small with a few places to sit inside. There was a slight wait when we got there. They dont want you to hold the door open so if you are in line and in the doorway you have to wait outside until the line moves up. I understand, it cuts down on flies inside the shop. The donuts werent just good they were pretty. You almost dont want to eat them because they are so pretty. The issue I had which may or may not be just my issue was getting past all the glitter. I know its edible but it bother me slightly. My kids had no problem with the donuts. I settled on the rainbow donut that had very little glitter. Regardless, Donas is worth a visit.

I had been here before and had rated them 5 stars on Yelp when they had just recently opened. This time around sadly I have to rate them 3 stars. Its not due to their product. Their donuts are amazing. Really good and fair priced as far as gourmet donuts go now a days. Nice selection and great texture. To me great customer service is a big part of how a business reflect on ownership. I went on a Sunday afternoon 2:30 pm. The store was empty and I was the only customer walking in. She seemed annoyed that I walked in and took her from whatever she was doing. Seemed to think I could not afford the 50 cents more for a vegan donut. When I told her nevermind Ill go with the regular donut she was upset and made faces as she changed the donut from the box I was buying. I just want the owners to know what goes on in their business. Hopefully if I go back it will be under better circumstances.

My 2nd visit. Ive been dying to try the sparkle donuts ones 🌟🍩🌟🔎 Never have them. 1st time Visit was at my lunch time and my 2nd time on a Saturday late afternoon and no sparkle donuts ones 🌟🍩🌟 The donuts world good but not worth the price💸🤑💸 theyre selling them. Its a amazing small donut shop with crazy custom donuts including peppermint oreo. The shakes as well are amazing I got the Monster one and its filled with different ingredients.

I decided to bring in a half a dozen Gourmet donuts for my team at the office and came across this donut shop nearby. I really enjoyed the look and layout of the shop and the donuts...tasty. Little pricey but that’s what you’d expect with unique donuts like what they serve at Donas in Downey. I’d definitely visit them again to try out their other flavors.

So we hesitated to come here because we really didn’t feel like it was worth the drive however we wore right . I wished they had put more thought and dedication into this business . The tables are small and don’t go with the theme, the paint is awful, it’s chipping. The counter is plastic and old. Donuts aren’t really that good the price range from $1.50-$5.00 . Parking lot is spacious and fits about 5 cars . Only a hype 😩

We visited during our trip to LA, we saw the shop originally on Facebook and wanted a Selena donut. We left with a four pack and drink. The donuts were great and fluffy and each was very unique. I did wish however that there was a bathroom in their shop.Btw the Selena donut was great. The only thing with that was the glitter itself was gritty and stayed on my lips and teeth.

Staff is super friendly. Kind and generous. If your first time....try but dont over do it with at least 2 diff samples of the ice cream they offer. Super delicious and reasonable pricing. Donuts and smoothies taste superb. Overall exciting experience.

These donuts were really yummy I brought them for my coworkers who all enjoyed them specially the Frida donut! If you wasn’t searching for the place you might drive right past it and totally message off Imperial Highway. Always worth a stop in to grab coffee as well. Support love cal business!

This place had the best freshest donuts that I have had in a long time!! My oldest daughter loved the purple glazed one the bidi bom which is a tribute to Selena! My youngest loved the horchata flavored one! While my mom had the lemon (gold glittered) one called Im rich b*&ch!. Theres a good selection of vegan choices as well, I tried the rosewater Vegan and it was excellent. I will most definitely be back and would encourage everyone to visit and patronize this location at least once! It is very small so you might miss it but once youre in there you are treated warmly, like family and greeted with a great big smile!

Donas is Super Cute & Cozy Lil Donut Shop offering Gourmet Style delectable treats! I ordered Bidi Bom NOT Greasy or heavy aftertaste & not too sweet! The Iced Cafe Con Leche was strong enough to keep me going for the drive home to AZ! Had to bring some home for the Family!

The placed looks cool and I wanted to try their crafty donuts. I bought a half dozen on Wednesday, 1/23/2019, and barely was getting around to finishing them. I cut the jamaica donut in half and a long wavy hair is there waiting for me. I do not have long wavy hair so it wasnt mine. Im not sure if this happens often. This was my first experience with these donuts.I hope this hasnt happened to anyone else or this is a part of their donuts because that was not advertised.

Literally the finest ingredients for these donuts with Mexican themes. Vegan/Regular donuts that are fluffy, good and rotating themes. Coffee,cafe de olla,hot chocolate to drink. I got 2-vegan donuts that we’re doughy, flavorful and thoughtful .Green tea and one with marzipan. No restroom. Takes cash or cards. TShirts or stickers to buy. Worth the drive. Period!

Great flavor ideas you dont see at other gourmet donut shops. Base donut flavor is good, not too sweet. With added toppings it is slightly sweeter than your standard donut. The flavors themed from Hispanic culture were really good and probably be the reason Im coming back often after trying it last night. The iced coffee was also very good. It was too hot to try their specialty hot coffee. Maybe next time.

Vegan Mexican inspired donuts! They have non vegan too of course. By far, the best vegan donuts I ever had. They are fluffy and the flavor is spot on. The staff is friendly and passionate about their food offerings.

Easy to miss. This small shop may visually stand out but is wedged so tightly in a small lot it is easy to pass it up. They offer some unique doughnuts that are a blend of Mexican sweets and modern doughnuts.The staff was very helpful but the doughnuts themselves were just ok. At $2.50 per I was expecting way more flavor.

The people are friendly and they sell decals that read “Donas” with some creative car decals, hats, and t-shirts. If you speak spanish, it just triggers ammusement reading “donas” because it’s uncommon and we have about 10 donut shops in Downey, but that one is my favorite.”

The selection was limited when we arrived after 7:00pm, but the glitter donas my daughters had were delicious!!! My healthy Dona, had coconut flakes and fresh strawberries. Yummy, Yummy, and more yummy!!!

My sister told me about this place to have a mother daughter day. My daughter is 11, so when she saw the rotary phone she said what is this. I was really impressed. I drove over 30 minutes and it was worth it.

I admit I love donuts, I often try different donuts shops when ever I get a chance but when I came across the place Donas I was very surprised how delicious it looked, never seen donuts like these, the weren’t giant donuts or anything, just regular size, but these were gourmet donuts, the thing that made me walk away was the price, the price was 14.25 for half a dozen and the picture I included of the single donut with glitter was 5.00 each and if you purchased half dozen this would not be one of the choices, I mean I love to try different kinds of food but at this price I can get a steak dinner, a dozen donuts cost about 30.00, seriously, the average cost of 1 donut is 2.50, I mean again they are delicious but the great taste will not blow you away. If you can afford the price by all means get them, try them but for me I will pass. Again this is my opinion, other might disagree. Peace and God Bless.

This is a cute little store, the doughnuts have unique flavors and are very Instagram-able. I got a gansito doughnut and although it didnt taste exactly like a gansito, it was still a yummy treat. The doughnuts are 2.50 a piece which is a little overpriced in my opinion, but you really pay for the atmosphere and service. A nice place to try once, but Ill be sticking to my regular doughnut shop!

Love it. First time here. My daughter had the bidi bom n happens to be her favorite selena song! The gansito bar is freaken delicious! I also got the frida donut super cute. I have not tried it yet tho. Definitely going back with the family for more donas & to get icecream

We went about 11am and they only had minimal amount of donuts there. The purple glitter donut seems a bit over priced at 5 bucks and it cant be part of your dozen, its extra. This location has minimal parking but spots opened up pretty quickly when we were there.I tried the mazapan and horchata donuts. Both were very yummy.

Veggies- ones - taste like a dish left of with soap.. residuals..regular donuts and fancy decorations highly pricey for dozen .. you might call ahead of time for fresher display.. Service awesome.

This place was great, they had a lot of Mexican themed donuts that I’ve never seen before! I was expecting more specialty donuts though so in that aspect I felt they were lacking a bit. Other than that the donuts tasted great and looked even better!

I came here for the first time and it was worth the wait!Got a dozen donas and more.I personally tried the fridona and its as delicious as it is cute!!!This space is small with limited parking, but its a comfortable placeI wanted to get the abuelitas hot chocolate dona, but they must have sold out. Fortunately I live nearby so i can always cone back :)

Delicious donuts. I always come here to get vegan donuts due to my milk allergy. If you are looking for a tasty vegan treat however I recommend going in the morning. The latest I’ve gone and they still have vegan donuts is usually around 11:30-12:00 but I’m pretty sure they still make some more later in the day. They do sell out though so come while you can.

Great place to get quality donas! Drove all the way from Texas to visit family. It ended up being empty due to the outbreak. We craved donuts and came here, felt right at home! Donas is a must for us whenever were in the area. The vibe is colorful and cute and the service is welcoming and friendly. These are not your tias donas - with flavors like horchata, marzipan, jamaica, and abuelita hot chocolate, theyre a special mix of creativity and childhood nostalgia. Theyre on the pricier side, but worth it- they use high quality ingredients and even their vegan donuts taste delicious. The parking lot is small so thats the only downside but still worth the wait.

Donuts taste great..but they run out of regulars quickly (which are slightly a higher price then other places, but worth it) so get there early. They normally only have specialty donuts when I arrive and they are pricey...but also worth the price every once in a while.

I had seen this place on Eye on LA and was immediately intrigued. I went and bought a half dozen donuts, and was not impressed. All the donuts look pretty in the case, but the unique glazes and toppings are just not that good. I think the branding is awesome and I think the concept is awesome. However, the execution of the donuts as to taste is very disappointing. I should note that I did go there later in the day and I don’t know if that affected the overall freshness or taste of the donuts.

The donuts here are delicious and I love how they’re so close to home but their vegan ones are more expensive and even like that it’s pricey.. for some reason they don’t seem to answer their phone which is a bit frustrating and I called multiple times to see what they have available since they tend to run out at times

They sold me 6 old donuts (even though I had asked if the donuts were fresh) for 17 dollars! they had the courage to charge $ 5 for a glitter donut that was so old that the smell was bad. Extremely expensive and taste horrible do not be fooled by the appearance!

Donas had NOO taste to them, SUPER EXPENSIVE!!! Its $28 for 1 dz but if you want from the top row colourful donuts then its an extra $1.50!!!! I paid $49 for 1 dz of donuts and 4 single scoop ice cream cones. 1 cone had a hair in it!!! Never ever going back.
