Friendly, fast, inexpensive. plenty good for home repairs

Ive been to other HF stores, but this location was very clean & organized. I came in to the Downey Store and was helped by a young lady named Jocelyn. She was very helpful and so polite. She went the extra mile to help me out and I wanted to make sure to leave a review for her excellent customer service. I hope management sees this review and acknowledges her good work. I look forward to coming back for my tool & equipment needs.

Forgot my Harbor Freight Card and asked the Cashier if she can look up my info so that she can charge me? She said she cant and had to use another form of payment.Called a different Store and they said she could of used my SSN number to look up my account and use a temporary card. Disappointed with the lack of knowledge or lack of Service at the Downey Store.

They have lots of tools. The website said that they had the tool I wanted, but I couldnt find it. Other sites tell you the aisle where you can find the tool, but not Harbor Freight. I couldnt find any help either.

I was in the market for an appliance dolly so I went to what I thought was my go to, HOME DEPOT. I found what they called an appliance dolly at $129. All six of them looked like they were purchased and brought back. I did not feel comfortable/safe purchasing one to move my refrigerator. So I called Harbor Freight and to the rescue they came through not only with a more durable appliance dolly also with a better price at $30 less. All I can say is WOW and thank you HARBOR FREIGHT my new go to...

Pretty big store. Clean. Wide assortment. Cord extensions were more economical here than Walmart.

Love harbor freight ! But not so happy that they stopped the coupons and toy tools giveaway. These promotions bring more customers in the doors.

Good products and prices plenty of inventory. The downside was that only two registers were open and line to check out was long. Finally got a third checker online, however line was still long.

Well Ive decided to limit me visits to Harbor Freight, they do not have discount coupons to offer,. This is a huge reason I come here. This allows people to save a bit and also helps sell more products. FH is going to be another casualty of the pandemic if they stop giving Incentives to keep people and get them through the doors.

I am the project manager for Arbor Enterprise Tree Service in Whittier CA I purchased some of my PPE personal protective equipment, mostly hearing protection gloves, and some hard hats. The products work very well and harbor freight always has plenty in stock.

But cutting torches with tanks and you cant fill the tanks they have to be certified .so why do they sell them?just to take are money.

Went in to find 5 things. They had 2 of them. On line it showed that they carried one more, but a staff said that they dont carry it. Then I went to Home Depot.

If you know what you are looking for, you should be fine. I didnt know and asked 3 employees who admitted they didnt know. I finally found someone who acted like they knew, but gave me wrong information. I wound up having to return the items I purchased because they were not suitable for my purposes.

Definitely my favorite store i purchase there all.my tools with guarantee and they are always nice and super cheap

They didnt have a lot of tool bag selection but the prices are better than home depot

Somewhere between 2-3 stars. I cant be roo heard, it looks like they only had three staff members but still. I was in a long wait in line, when its my turn i ask for assistance to get an item, the cashiee tells me the manager is om his way. So i wait, and sometime goes by and i see an associate helping someome that came after me.... I waited more, and finally checked in again with the cashieer .. she totally forgot about me, and was like what did you need again. Turns out thay asdociate that came was the manager. When i speak to him he shows me another spot in the store with the item. Turns out i didnt need someone to oull one down. It would have been helpful if the cashier could have told me that. Long story short.... What should have been a 15 minute trip, ended up taking about 2 hours..... I also saw some other upset customers.....

I usually never leave reviews, but I went in yesterday to return an item I lost a receipt for. I have my information signed up at the store, however the cashier that rang me up didn’t input my phone # and therefore they could not find my transaction. A young lady, Brittney, helped me out yesterday and helped me out with my call to customer service. Went in today and she got me my cash back! Deeply appreciated. A great supervisor! Big Thanks

Ive been going to Harbor Freight and Tools for several years now. There is seldom a time where I dont find what I need. The selection is extensive and always of quality! The atmosphere is always well lit and organized! The first time I went to Harbor Freight and Tools I came in with a 20% off coupon plus they were giving another item away for free...... I thought what an excellent marketing idea to get customer through the door! Seeing such a variety of items I ended up picking several items I needed.... When I went to check out.... I was asked for my phone number and address. From this point on Im sent a catalog once a month and low and behold theres another 20% off coupon each time always giving me an incentive to check with them first for what I need! I am very pleased!!

Good service,I went in looking for a couple of ramps and wrenches, and i found them with no issue. I also received some help from one of the reps inside. I would recommend going here if you are looking for vehicle tools, ramps, or other handy tools that are helpful in car maintenance.

The staff was kind and pleasant on the way in and out (manager stood at the door to greet customers, as well as wish them a good rest of their day).

I have been to the Downey landing store often. Most times they have been a little rude, one time service was super great but today was the worst, so bad I left my purchase there and walked out. I went in looking for an easy up, and a couple spare buckets. Walked through the store and did not see any on the floor. Went to the front where three gals that worked there were talking, one stepped forward (apparently annoyed that a customer dare approached three gals on the sales floor in the middle of their conversation) and asked what I wanted, I had a coupon pulled up on my phone she responded aisle 15. So we went to aisle 15, looked up and down back and forth could not find it. So I figured well last time I bought something like that they rang it up and had someone pull.it from the back so that is what I figured they would do. I got in line and waited, then one of the gals asked if we were in line we said yes, then she said there is one line on aisle 8, hmmm the floor was maked for individual lanes but ok, so I went and joined the line on aisle 8. When we got to the front, they called next I started walking over and then she called they guy behind us and cut us off, I set my stuff down and walked out. They have some serious customer service issues at this store and I will not be at Harbor Freight for some time.

Harbor Freight has great deals! They also have a huge coupon book. The store is always nice and clean, well stocked and organized. Where you can buy all sorts of tools, pop-up canopies, fans, outdoor lights. I bought this magnetic slim board lelight and it is amazing, good to have in your car. I also got the three-piece decorative LED lights, rope light and the 10-piece dragonfly string lights those are really cool. They have great customer service everyone is so helpful. I enjoy shopping at this store. 😊

Being female in a store full of tools big & small can be intimidating, but the staff at Harbot freight treat everyone as if you are their #1 customer. Cant find something, they dont just say isle 5, they asked if they can show you. Also their sales are great & with a receipt returns are a breeze.

Harbor Freight has just about any tool you can imagine. Their staff is friendly and helpful. They even have odd items to buy like cool down towels for your neck, tennis racket bug zappers, pickers, machetes and so much more. They even sell remote control helicopters. I frequent this place as often as possible. Havent been to the location closer to home yet, but the Downey location is a great place to visit. Even if you dont end up buying anything. Go on in and enjoy!

Decent selection on products like other HF Stores, employees & people at the registers are usually rude and not helpful, they lack basic customer service skills, I prefer to avoid this location

I walk in to buy a 13 pcs HD black socket set. I noticed Edgar is focus to ring up customers asap to avoid line build up. Right away customer information look up, he already scan a coupon discount before I started looking for a coupon on my cell phone emails and last thing type of payment. Its a harbor freight. Go to buy cheap tools you wont mind being stolen or used once then forgotten.This place has plenty of parking and is easy to get to. Store is kept organised and clean with staff that knows where things are.
