Our experience with Neal far exceeded 5 stars.We engaged Neal and Safe Beginnings to put gates up around our home to keep our little one safe and to provide the appropriate amount of freedom.Neal came completely COVID Ready (mask) + always put on booties when walking around our home to keep it clean.THE SERVICE: We gated off our fireplace, Play room (formerly the sun room) and put two gates up at both entry points into the foyer/hall to avoid anyone getting to the stairs. Neal provided options for each area to ensure we were happy with the end result. The end result is great for kids and dogs alike!THE PRICE: the price was very fair considering the quality of the product, the instal/attention to detail.The END RESULT: We are extremely happy, we wouldnt hesitate to ask Neal to come back if we needed additional child proofing and we would HIGHLY recommend him to friends and family.This is a company you should be working with. Neal at Safe Beginnings did a fantastic job childproofing for our infant daughter. Hes knowledgeable, professional, and very pleasant to work with. He did a great job of informing us of the pros and cons of various options (for example, what degree of childproofing is needed on a given piece of furniture) and then letting us make the final choices. We liked the work he did so much that we hired him again when we moved to another apartment with our now-toddler daughter, and he did a great job with our new place too.

Great work!  We had a great experience with Neal and Safe Beginnings.  The company was easy to reach, Neal was responsive in setting up an appointment, and clear with pricing and what to expect.  He was also prompt to the appointment and easy to work with.  Options were laid out  and there was no pressure for anything.  We needed 2 baby gates, one of them in an odd spot that didnt have 2 walls facing each other, and they are both super sturdy and nice looking.  We also had some things secured to the wall, outlets changed, and other odds and ends that I had been wanting to do for weeks, and Neal did it for us in a few hours. It was such a relief to have it all done!

Neal was an absolute professional. He gave an assessment of each room and talked us through options. He was also took COVID precautions seriously, always wearing a mask and gloves. I highly recommend any new parent to give him a call!

Neal was a pleasure to work with! I contacted his company to install baby gates on steep stairs in my home. I didn’t trust myself to do it since I am not that handy and my house is very old. Neal was quick to respond and able to squeeze me in. I am so grateful for his help and the gates look/work great! Well worth the money!
