Id like to warn others about character of the owner JP. He ran a previous venture which apparently shut down (JP Autoworks). I called with a few questions about the last conversation we had regarding the vehicle he serviced. (unknowing that it had closed out that business in totality) When I began to ask questions regarding our prior conversations I was immediately met with hostility and was told the things that they had previously communicated to me never happened. (I literally have nothing to gain, just trying to figure out why Im now missing $1,000+ in parts.) Ill be honest, I was in total shock about how dismissive and confrontational he was. If he simply would have sympathized with the situation and tried to put the customer first we could have had a different outcome. Unfortunately, that short phone call showed me all I needed to know to not only never recommend this business but actively detour people from having the same experience I did. In the end Im out $1,200 and I guess Ill have to deal with that. Sad when you see someones true colors shine. Truly a cautionary tail; if youre unlucky enough to experience something outside the normal sales process just know what youre in for.

Jp helped me get an axle that I needed QUICK, super helpful and I plan on meeting up with them later this year to have the clutching done on my xp4 turbo! Thanks guys!

Works is the most legitimate UTV shop in town. Not only are they actual experts (dont be fooled by other shops), but they back up their work even when its not their fault. I had a major drivetrain failure on the first ride after a lot of work that Polaris refused to warranty. Works replaced the parts at their own cost to take care of me in less than 24 hours. No other shop in town would do something like that. Cant recommend these guys enough!

I am looking for a sound system for my UTV, made a post on the local UTV page asking for recommendations. They posted immediately and invited me up to look at a sound system for my UTV. They were very responsive at first. Checked their website for hours. showed they were open on Saturdays from 9-3, showed up at 12:00 and no one was there. I sent them a message on Facebook, no responce, deleted their posts to my questions, Not very professional. Sad situation, I would love to support a local business but when looks like I will get better service from Internet Sites.

Ive been bugging Jay Poulsen on Facebook for the last few weeks about various things and he has always been prompt, polite, and helpful in his responses. Even after a couple of times when I decided to make the purchase through a different company instead.After one of these conversations, I sent my wife in to make a purchase that Jay and I had discussed and they had it ready to go for her and even loaded it in the truck for her.I havent had my machine over for service, but the retail side has been great.

We have had an awesome experience so far. They helped us with a smooth but frustrating insurance claim and finding the right person to build our cage roof and doors wich was difficult to find. They have exceeded our expectations. Cant wait for our machine to be completed in time to go cut some christmas trees. Things have gone so quick with them considering the damage and insurance being involved. I call this our new home for sxs needs.

Had an issue with my car starting and the gas pedal not working. Once we told JP the symptoms he knew right away what it was and how to fix it. They were so willing to work with us and make sure we were taken care of. The car was fixed so quickly and is working great now. So grateful these guys helped us out. Would definitely recommend for anyone with car trouble.

I had a problem with my RZR over the weekend, Talked to Jasen and he squeezed me in on Monday. Apparently Mondays are really busy for them at the shop. European Specialist at its finest! After moving to a new area, finding someone that I trust to work on my car is a rare thing until I met JP and Laurel. All work was discussed prior to any repairs being performed so you dont feel like your being strong-armed into fixing something. I had a coolant leak, brakes & rotors, digital display, cv boot, some other maintenance items performed in a timely manner. After getting my car back I feel that it was done correctly without worry. I definitely recommend JP Autoworks to anyone looking to have repair or maintenance work done on their car. Thank you Laurel and JP!!

They do good work. Theyre just VERY expensive. I was charged almost $700 for an install of lowering springs. Going rate for this type of work is typical $250-$350. Ive had it done multiple times. Ill take the blame for not getting a bid before they performed the service. I guess I just assumed they would be in line with everyone else. I did talk to JP about my concerns with the price after-the-fact and he said hed make it right when I was ready to install my turbo back. I called him to schedule a time for the turbo back and he just never called me back. I ended up getting it installed for $180 somewhere else. TL;DR - good service for an expensive price.

JP Autoworks is a Great shop to work with and very friendly people and knowledgeable . I been taking my car to JP and I been very happy with the work. Just recently they did Intercooler on my Audi S3 and they did a great job and I’m very happy with the work. Very reasonable. I recommend this shop to everyone.

I am not one to usually write reviews but like most people I do get on and read them when I am looking for a new service. I feel this place definitely deserves a review and I highly recommend them. This is the only place I will now take my 2006 Audi A4. They are very knowledgeable and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure youre taken care of. The communication was outstanding. They called to let me know what was wrong with my vehicle and the price to get it fixed. They didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need or try to take advantage of a bad situation, and when your car isnt working properly its always a bad situation. I also had mentioned I needed tires and They found me a great deal even though that is not something they handle there. The price is amazing for the exceptional service I received. WOW! All I can say after our first visit to JP Autoworks is WOW. We were treated so incredibly well by JP! He explained our cars problems in a clear, understandable fashion, got us the best possible price on parts, and gave excellent advice. When our repair was finished, he showed us all the parts that he replaced, explained why they were bad (and oh, were they BAD!), and then showed us the new parts in place in our vehicle. He explained every line item on the invoice, and we left with the assurance that our vehicle is in tip top shape. Price was excellent, service was outstanding. Like I said, this was our first experience but it will not be our last.

Great service. I drove down from Logan, UT about 2 hours away after finding JP Autoworks online and seeing their amazing reviews. JP the owner helped me out from beginning to end. The service quote was fair priced to begin with, but some other problems were encountered when working on my 2008 Subaru head gasket replacements. JP didnt charge me for any service time on any of the extra items that werent part of the original estimate. He gave some other preventative maintenance suggestions while they had the engine pulled out of the car, and again, only charged for parts. JP is honest but not pushy when it comes to service. In addition, he provides a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty on the service they did. Highly recommended; I will bring my 08 Subaru Legacy to JP Autoworks again for any service. Thanks!

I have used JP Autoworks on a couple different occasions. I was first attracted to them because they did not require me to call them for a quote. In this fast pace world we live in these days & having a child that wants all my attention when I get on the phone, using email is a much more efficient way of getting quotes. I was satisfied with the quote I received from JP Autoworks & was even more grateful for the service he gave. He did such a great job getting the service done on my Mercedes GL 450 that I was able to wait a couple months before I needed the additional service done. That helped financially. When I went back in to get the additional service done, it was less than I was assuming, they were fast with the work & didnt do unnecessary services I could get done cheaper (aka tire rotation/alignment that I get for free at my tire shop) elsewhere. On my first visit, I was driven back to my Sandy home & then picked up again so I didnt have to wait for the service to be performed. I am grateful to JP Autoworks. It is so nice to have my car running well again. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a straight shooter that will go out of his way to make sure youre taken care of.

I will not take my Audi A4 anywhere else! I called another import expert shop that is in the same area and was not impressed with the service provided by this highly recommended shop. I ended up calling JP Auto after my bad experience and I was BLOWN AWAY by the service!! I didnt have a ride after dropping off my car, so JP not only dropped me off at my house, but also had one of his guys pick me up to get my car once it was done!!! I was completely blown away by the service!! JP is definitely an expert on Audis. I told him my issues and within driving my car 2 min he was able to pin point what was going on (my transmission issue was actually my turbo). He has built/raced imports in his past which really makes me feel comfortable having him work on my after market parts like my turbo and suspension. I cant say enough good things about him and his shop. If you are in limbo wondering if you should take your car to him, whether it is stock or more specialized, you are in good hands with JP Auto. Also, price was not an issue. Hes not overpriced.

I took my truck here when I was having a weird marbles in jar sound while driving up hills after warmup. They checked it out for me, and very quickly called me up to explain what was wrong. Turned out to need a tune up and use premium gas. Since I have done tune up before, I dedicated to do it myself, however, they also figured out what my check engine light was for and noted my valve covers were leaking. I had them do the covers and fix the check engine light. They spent extra time cleaning the valve covers so they looks brand new, as if there never was a leak! Pretty awesome. Also, when I came back, they took me into the shop and showed me all the parts they replaced and why. Pretty much a full on explanation! Really liked that!!!! Like I mentioned earlier, I did the tune up and changed the gas and presto, truck runs great! Thanks guys for doing such a great job! Definitely have a new customer!

I took my 04 Subaru here because of the very good ratings. I am totally disappointed with the quality of work. I went in to replace the check engine light bulb on the dash. It nearly took 2 days for them to get this fixed, they have messed up with the working fuel indicator lights and also got my battery drained. Total disappointment for $300!

Jasen was really kind with us and our predicament. He knew we were stressing about money and did what he could to help us out. Its only been one day with a repaired clutch. It definitely drives differently, which is to be expected with a new clutch. So far, Im pleased. If anything changes, Ill definitely go back to talk to him, and update this review based on any further experiences. I especially appreciated his willingness to use e-mail, since I often am away from my phone.

I found my experiences with JP Autoworks have been exceptional. The honesty and integrity displayed when getting a quote for repairs on my vehicles is exceptional. They are up front with you on what needs to be done in order to repair your vehicles as needed. They will also let you know if the cost of repairs are more than the worth of the car and make suggestions on what can be done to keep the vehicle going until you are able to make a decision on getting the work done. Have had them work on four different vehicles of ours and have had great results on all work done.

I have a classic bmw and the issue I was having was something that was super hard to detect. JP went above and beyond expectations to work on my car to find the issue. After this let me know a few things that I could do on my own to improve my car. He also was great at explaining a step by step walkthrough of what he had done and what his thoughts were. I brought my car to JP Autoworks as I had past dealings with the owner. So when I had an issue come up I was unable to repair on my own I immediately called Jasen. The service did not disappoint. Not only was the bid significantly cheaper than BMW of Murray, but I was able to get the car in and out same day. Which was huge for me, as I was leaving town the next morning for a family emergency. One of the worst things about moving is having to find a good mechanic that you can trust again. I dont know why it is so hard. This is why I was so happy to find JP after moving back to Utah. There is a reason he has 90 plus 5 star reviews. JP autoworks was straightforward, honest, fast and showed me all the old broken parts after they were replaced which I always appreciate. He was also far better priced. I was quoted from the dealership 500$ to fix a part. Quoted from JP $190 and charged only $168. He quoted me the lowest price from anyone I talked to and he was able to fit me into the work flow just a few days later. My 2007 VW Rabbit had a belt break on my way home from work. I stopped right near this place by chance. I walked over and asked if there was any possible way they could get me back on the road. This was at about 4:00p. I left with my car working at 6:00p. I also like how they showed me the bad parts they had to replace. I didnt even need to ask. I highly recommend this shop.

Jp Autoworks is fantastic. I was seen for a stage 1 tune on my 2012 GTI and they got me in the same day I called in asking about it. Extremely friendly, prompt and quick service. They were more than happy to fit me into their work flow. Im planning on having all of my work done at this shop, and will be recommending JP to everyone I know. A true 5/5 experience.

JP Autoworks did an great job with diagnosing my VW. He kept me up up to date with text messages on the progress on my car. His work was clean, effective and his knowledge base about german cars is spot on. I didnt receive the run around thats commonly found at dealerships. Overall I feel much better about supporting a local shop with passionate experts rather than some conglomerate dealership, that only does warranty work.

If you are looking for an honest mechanic, come to JP. Hes super helpful and full of knowledge. He got my car in right away to put new brakes and rotors in. Its also having a sensor gauge issue and instead of just charging us for the whole unit, hes going to see if he can just replace the part. Im glad Ive found a reliable straight forward mechanic. Car problems can be stressful but not when JPs auto works is involved.

Use to go to other shops but then I found these guys. I have had these guys do 3 timing belt jobs, a clutch, head rebuild and some fab work on three different cars and could not be happier. Better price for the value then the dealer.

Great service. Took my car in for a diagnosis they diagnosed it within the next day. I took it in after rebuilding the motor and stuff and i thought my head gasket was leaking and instead of ripping it right apart they made sure it was that first. it ended up not being and saved me a lot of money. They drove it and made sure to. This shop isnt going to send anything out on the road that isnt ready to be on the road. They are all very friendly and make sure you know what is going on and check up with you on your vehicle.

I took my Audi A4 to JP because of an over-boost engine code. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem, and fix it. Not only did he do this, but he looked over my car and recommended new pads, rotars, spark plugs, and cleaned my fuel injecters. I would highly recommend JPs autoshop. Hes very trust worthy and cars for your car as his own.I will be forever using JP for any future car work. Thanks for all you did JP.

I spent a ton of time researching the best shop to install a tune for my GTI and I finally found a shop and owner I trust. He backs up his work. Jasen the owner spent alot of time with me on the phone and in person to help me choose the correct product for my car. I would recommend anyone to this shop! A+++ customer service and their prices are very competitive. I would send my own mother to them and not worry about her getting ripped off. I will be in for many more parts for my car.

I was having some issues with my Audi, which I was unable to solve myself, so I took it to JP Autoworks. They were very detailed in troubleshooting the issue, and finally solved my problem! I will definitely return to them for my future Audi repair needs. Thank you!

Jasen @ JP Auto Works is an amazing mechanic and has been very good with treating us with honesty and loyalty. We take our car to him from Tremonton Ut which is 90 miles. He has always been amazing with diagnostics and fixing what is wrong. We are lucky to have him around and we appreciate all he does. We would recommend him to anyone.

If you want your car fixed go here. I have a BMW that has given me problem after problem for almost two years, it sat in my driveway for sale for about 8 months before I decided to give it one last try. I did some research and found JP, within a couple days it was running better than Ive ever seen it run. If you are in a bind and cant figure it out, take your car to JP hell get it done.

Jason was awesome! My whole experience with JP Autoworks was great, and I am going to be taking there with all of my cars. I had already taken my 2000 Jeep WJ elsewhere and I was not pleased. He found the issue, and TWO other mechanics misdiagnosed the issue. He was flexible with my schedule and I cant say how happy I am to have the Jeep back and running. Side note: My uncle has a magazine with Jason in it from a while back. He is legit.

Im sure they do good work. That being said, I dont understand why they charge $90 to install a cabin air filter, which, on this particular vehicle, takes less than 5 minutes to put in. An OEM part itself is no more than $15. So labor is $75 for 5 minutes of work?I understand they cater to a middle and upper middle class clientele who may not take the time to research their vehicle and what it takes to repair it. That being said overcharging in general is a good way to drive customers elsewhere. I think they expect that anybody that walks in there has no clue about vehicle repair. They probably dont care since theres always another inexperienced and less knowledgeable car owner out there.A word of advice to those who read this review, research your vehicle and the repairs suggested to be done. You might find what one place wants to charge $90 for can be done by yourself in less than 5 minutes and without any technical skill.
