Had a glass shop that no longer exists install a window in a solid door a couple of years ago. The sash constant force balance broke so the window would no longer stay open. Found the manufacturer, Value Window and Doors, and called them about the problem. With no hesitation they told me I could acquire the parts I needed from them. They offered to send the parts to me right away or I could pick up the parts myself. Fortunately they were local so I went and picked up the parts myself. They not only gave me the parts I needed but gave me a link to a youtube explanation as how to install the new parts. Besides this they gave me the parts free of charge. Their customer service is great. I would definitely use them when I need other windows and or doors for our home. Thanks guys, our window on the door leading to our patio is now working great.

Very bad post sale service. . Its said life time warranty . But the the technician is very rude and find any excuses not to fix the problem.

I love this company! I had all my home windows replaced when they were EnviroGreen windows. They did the whole house in one day...without problems. Everything was clean when they left. The triple glass keeps my house cool on the summer and warm in the winter. I have had a few minor repairs which they have done promptly and free under their lifetime warranty. They are easy to work with and listen to what you want. I recommend them without reservation.

The weather in LA is so hot in summer. The air conditioning in the house has to go to the lowest temperature of 55 degrees, however the indoor temperature was still high.My neighbor recommended Value Windows & Doors to me that they had a nice experience using their products. I called the sales and they said they could make an appointment for me right away. It only took six days for the whole process, from measurement to installation, and it was incredibly fast. Now I enjoy the smooth operation of the windows, and the coolness of every moment.

Windows took 3 weeks to get them done, one week more than they promise, disappointing, customer service not so good, especially at the first building where u place the order salesman willy needs to work on customer service skills, have me waiting outside forb20 minutes while he finishes his cigarette and his cell phone call, I order 2 obscure glass windows and they make one with clear glass, then refused to replace it arguing it was my fault, so i have to go to another place to fix it and pay 80 drls extra, every one else tried there best to get my windows done, not coming back many more places with same quality and same prices shorter delivery time

My contractor ordered $30k windows two weeks ago. When I saw them arrived I just want to cry. Instead of the 2 x 4 grids in my Architecture plans, they gave me 3 x 5 grids. Small windows should be 2x2 grids, they gave me 3x3. Now the elevation views looks so crowded, completely ruined the appearance. I asked my contractor why the grids not matching the plan. She said Value Windows saleswoman used their software automatically generate the grids based on the window sizes. Unable to have the grid patterns on plan. After my complain she contacted the sales, sales said they can take the glass off and their workers can hand adjust the grid patterns. We have to pay the additional cost of the labor and materials for more than three thousand dollars. Why couldn’t she tell my contractor early for this solution? That could save us lot of money and time.

Im completely satisfy with Value Windows and Doors. I did my research and decided to place my order with them. The project replaced all my windows and sliding doors and it took place back in 2012. The transaction was smooth and painless. Annie was pleasant to work with and crews showed up on time on installation day. I was nervous about the installation, but everything went smoothly!Fast forward to a month ago. I was planning to upgrade my kitchen. Initially, I didnt have key locks on my sliding glass door because theres no need for it. Now, I need to have another access point and I contacted them. Barry found key lock for me and didnt charge me for it. Then, somehow, the door lock mechanism (not the key lock) was having issue and I contacted their support. Again, Barry came through for me. He found a replacement lock and shipped it to me without any charge! This is what I call great service!Their price was reasonable, process was painless, and post-purchase service was great. I highly recommend them!

Today I changed a few windows in Value, two large windows facing south and a small round window. The ordering speed is very fast. I called their sales Annie on July 14 and placed the order. The installation is done only in 6 days. I was impressed with their high efficiency working progress. This is a pleasant shopping and I highly recommend their product and service.

New window shopper. This place is not getting my business. Manger was arrogant and rude, and evidently finds customers to be an inconvenience.Upon entering their showroom and not being approached by a rep, I go to their offices to get more information. Rep waves me off to the manager’s office. This woman really does not like new business, or understand the concept of new customers. She did not want to talk to me unless I had window measurements or wanted to make an appointment. All I wanted to know was window options, benefits of the options, and talk through some options (I have some unique window needs).But whatever, they lost my business. I hope they continue this golden business approach, they will do well.

We had value windows and doors installed about three years ago. The installation was done professionally. The windows and doors are holding up. Im a satisfied customer. The price was right and the quality was good.

Installed new windows back in 2014/2015 time frame so an overdue review. However, it has now been 3-4 years that also provides that much better of a review. Still piecing my house together little by little since its a big fixer but time and money.I actually found out about them through a contractor estimate which was 40% higher, I decided to then do further homework and get my own quote. Sent in the basic measurements and they followed up with installers for accurate measurement prior to the order. About 2 weeks lead time with a full or half day install for 10 windows. 2 windows were slightly off so they opted to replace with new windows.Over the 4 years they slide great, screens which are first to go held up much better on their windows than sliding glass doors I did with another company a few months earlier. Go with their lami glass triple pane if worried about noise and safety.I have no regrets, and they mailed me a new plastic lock cap when one break. Have patience as they are not a big retailer and growing company but are the same if not superior window over the competitor with a much lower cost.

I am remodeling my house for the last 2 months, especially for the windows. I am a freelance designer so I stay at my house a lot, enjoying the sunlight but not getting burned is my big concern. My old design used wooden regular windows thats always too bright and the glass would be too hot to touch in the afternoon, which I didnt really like. Sometimes I lean over with bare skin, I would be burned a little by the heat from the glass. So Ive been doing some research on the heat protect windows in L.A, then I found Value windows, they have a certified Title 24 California, which is energy sufficient but most importantly doesnt burn my skin any more, and I wouldnt feel as much hot. I called Value windows and they invited me to the factory where they manufacture all windows and doors, it was an eye opening experience, and very helpful to my windows shopping. After comparing with a couple other companies, I chose Value for the affordable price and great quality.

Had my doors installed last week in May. The doors were not installed correctly, so unable to lock them. The 1st appointment was canceled, but they finally sent a technician after I emphasized urgency. The tech said it would take 7-10 days to make the replacement door. Finally the door was done two weeks later. They made 2 appointments, and have cancelled both. This is now July and still no door.

I am a truck driver. I picked up a load there going to Houston, Tx. They lied about the weight on the paperwork. We went and scaled load and paperwork says 12,500, but when we scaled we grossed 72,800. So we actually have 38,000 in our trailer. Owner Operators stay away from this place. Its hard to get into and the take 7 hours to load.

Bought shutters and windows. Never had an issue and guaranteed their work. Price was reasonable.

I am a general contractor, these are good quality Windows, great product and pricing .Lead time is 5-7 day .

When you shop, here is our lesson learned from our mistakes:1. Do remember that windows is not a install and forget event. Sometime, windows will need tune up, adjustments, sometime that door would shift or sink because of its weight. So reliable, timely, after-install serving would be part of the consideration (VERY IMPORTANT!) Do factor out this part as part of the purchase decisions.2. Sometime the screen might need a little adjustment, as over time they might become loose, and even wrap. Screen design by Value Windows is not the best I should say, the four latches barely hold the screen in place and their screens wrapped and deems to be poorly designed, and pop out if the size is made smaller than it should me. I learned that modern days window they have latches built around the frame so the screen fit snugly around the frame, our screen falls out from time to time and insect do come in. Value Windows and Doors took couple shots to make the screen the right size and they use a double sided foam tape as a patch to fix the wrapping issue as the final solutions to this design failure. We have no choice but to accept that. We thought this is highly unprofessional but what can we say, we cannot replace the entire window again now that they are in but have to live with it. So do check the screen design and ask questions! Dont let emotional high impact your purchase decision and be a diligent consumer.3. Door LatchesOur windows would have problem with opening and closing, It seems to us the latches were incorrectly design and would cause friction and resistant during open and close when the door is not tuned up well. So we would have hard time opening and closing the door during everyday used. We will categorized this as another design issues. So checking the proper hardware is also important also. You will likely not find these issue at the show floor as company put out their best face forward. However, its only time will tell quality of service that will determine the success of your windows install.After our experience, aside from lurking on reviews, we would also go with a more reputable windows seller, proven records, and most of all, or sometime best, a trusted referral. Seek out multiple vendors, do your homework, and defend your investment. Hope this help.
