I Was in a extreme rush to get a suit for my son who decided to go to home coming last minute and so I call there and gentleman by the name of Scott answered the phone said they could help, we got there and they by far exceeded my expectations! So heres the full story. The guy Scott was nice, polite, and seemed like a great employee. Asked me if I had an appointment, which I didnt bc they dont open till 11am. I needed a tux in a week and he made it happen. Unfortunately, the tux smelled so bad like chemicals i couldnt even use it for the time I needed. It was gross. Like someone smoked cigarettes all night while spraying it with starch. Took it back and they offered nothing. I definitely dont need their money, nor free things, however; anything other than Well have to use a new dry cleaner would have been nice. Or maybe, We are very sorry, is there anything we can do or anything in the future it seems like most places have become so greedy for peoples money that they focus on short term grabs. Scott was very nice to deal with.

President Tuxedo --- specifically Scott Baley --- is a life-saver! In my situation I arrived in Michigan from out of state, but due to a snafu, my tux for my nephews wedding did not get packed. Over a thousand miles from home, and with one day to fix it, I turned in desperation to President Tuxedo. Scott listened carefully to my plea for help and set me up --- on the spot --- with the tux I needed. He even did alterations by hand on the spot and I made it to the wedding in style. With such an unpredictable world, I would not recommend this business for weddings! My husband rented a tux for his brothers wedding in March 2020. Due to COVID-19 the wedding was reduced to an intimate setting in which only parents were able to attend. The bride, father of the bride, myself and my husband have all reached out to the shop and corporate separately to get our money back. They have passed us around with unanswered messages and no explanation as to why we cannot receive a refund. As it stands today, 8 months later, we still do not have our money back!

Went here for my wedding and everything turned out perfect! Scott really helped with a big part of the wedding process and help shake some nerves. The best prices we found as well. We went to a bridal show and left with a ton of offers and deals but this was the cheapest and best deal by far. Overall a very easy place to go through for such an important and nerve racking event.

Scott was amazing from beginning to end. When asked about any deals they had available at the time, he outlined them very clearly and made sure we knew what was included. He gave us clear-cut instructions for when suits should be fitted, when groomsmen and groom needed to return their suits, and the pricing for late fitting/returns. I have so much to say, I don’t know where to begin!... Scott is the most professional, understanding, patient, most dependable salesman I have ever encountered! From the moment I spoke with him on the phone, I knew we would be doing business with him! My wife and I were married August 8th, 2020, but due to COVID-19, we were sure that day wouldn’t happen for us. We began our journey with President Tuxedo(Flint location) about a year ago and from the beginning we had issue after issue with them, but we had to stick it out because President Tuxedo was the only company near us to offer rentals in the tuxedos we wanted. Fast forward a little....Covid-19 happens! ALL CORPORATE LOCATIONS CLOSE without warning or communication with pre-existing customers. So, the stores are closed, they aren’t communicating, and they have our money for rentals and retailed shoes we purchased for our Bridesmen! We were sure our wedding would not go on! After numerous emails and phone calls trying to reach corporate and getting no response, I began to search all of our surrounding locations in hopes that someone would answer. THREE WEEKS BEFORE OUR WEDDING, I called the Okemos,MI location and Scott answers. I explained to him the situation and he was more than happy to help. He not only gathered our rental order for EIGHT men and processed everything, he went out of his way to email, text, and call everyone he could think of to find the shoes we had already purchased. This man even went as far as driving a hour to the Flint location to see if possibly the shoes would still be there! He went above and beyond for us and single handily SAVED OUR WEDDING! Scott is such a beautiful spirit and he will forever be blessed because of it! We are beyond thankful and grateful to have encountered such an amazing person like Scott! He will always hold a special place in our hearts!!

The man the works here is a very nice and helpful man. Hes the main reason why you should choose this place over other Tuxedo rental shops. Other than that, the rest of the store is more or less in line with other tuxedo rentals. Though they did have a camouflage tuxedo, so if you really wanted something like that, then President Tux is for you.

Long wait for each part of the process, not efficiently staffed or trained, even at peak hours. You should invest in a better waiting area if you dont plan to improve your process.Expensive rental in comparison to other places Ive rented from. Cost is comparative to buying your own suit of equal quality, or for another 1/3 the cost getting a nicer suit.The measurements were way off on 6 out of the 8 rentals. Because their final fitting is 2 days before the event it leaves very little time for alterations to be made. One groomsman was almost late to the ceremony because the alterations took too long. Most rental shops do a final fitting a week before the event to allow more of a buffer, take note. No compensation whatsoever for the inconvenience caused, in most cases it sounds like they were actually rude to the wedding party.They require returns on the following day, again most shops Ive rented from gave an extra day or two. It can be a hectic time, especially for an out of town wedding where the next day is spent travelling. Of course I didnt make it back to town before they closed. I dropped it off the following day with no leniency, $25 fee for a single day late (yet they wont adjust the price for their measuring mistakes?).All in all I would give them 0 stars if I could. If you are going to pay their prices there are plenty of other options that involve buying and not renting. Or go to a more affordable rental shop with better tailors and customer service.

Was so easy to go in & get our tuxes for our wedding!! Scott was super nice & made us feel at ease with choosing President Tuxedo. Another plus was parking right by the door, we didnt want to have to deal with going into a mall to get or return tuxes.

Dont ever give them your phone number. I signed up at a bridal show for information on tuxes for my wedding and they call at least once a week even after I told them I rented from somewhere else. I block one number and the next time they call they use a different phone number.

Terrible experience! Wrong shoes for 1 of my groomsmen even AFTER reordering them the day prior. The dads shoes were wrong colored as well. Numerous fit problems with 6 out of 7 of the groomsmen and dads. My best mans shirt was to big, reordered and was still too big. Ring bearers pants came un-hemed and about a mile to long. The list goes on and on! The only positve that came from the experience was returning the tuxes and washing my hands of President Tuxedo!

Told him undershirt was a little tight on re-fitting...ignored me...jacket was too big for me...jacket for another groomsmen had too short of sleeves. Not a good experience. Upon returning, there were no questions of how did it go? or how was everything?. Gentleman that worked their seemed a little smug and wouldnt recommend ever going there again.

Go anywhere else but here. Awful, poorly trained, items requested were not delivered with one day to the event. Horrible.
