CDI gets a 10/10 from me for pricing, customer service, a laid back buying experience, and for having the only ring I would consider wearing forever! We shopped around at at least 10 other places just to see what else was out there, but couldnt feel better about spending our money at this small, privately owned business. Jay was a straight shooter from the beginning - hes confident he has a good product and good products sell themselves. Apparently his gift is being able to pick out a ring for someone hes only known for 5 minutes; as it turns out the one he suggested was THE ONE for me. About a year later he knew exactly who I was when I came to get it cleaned, remembered the profession of both myself and my fiance, as well as the details about my ring buying experience with them. Jay makes you feel like more than a customer, but more like an old friend (with good taste in jewelry) who really wants the best for you and not just whats going to be the most profitable for him.

I looked at the store’s website before going in and liked a certain piece of jewelry that was in my budget. I met the owner named Matt who was very nice, friendly, and respectful. He helped me through the buying process and educated me on many other things. The best part was the piece of jewelry that I wanted was more expensive in the store, however Matt respected the price found on the website and gave me the same piece at a significantly lower price!! I am so happy with restoration of my wedding band and engagement ring. They did beautiful work!! I haven’t been able to wear my original set in over 20 years due to lost stones, not fitting and a poor design. It is so nice having back on my finger. They were able to keep the identical look but reset to make it durable and safe to wear. I’m sorry I waited so long to have it restored!!! I recommend them highly.

I walked into CDI to have links taken out of a watch which Matt did for no charge. Had them repair wedding ring that hadnt had attention in YEARS! Showed me what he thought needed done, gave me a couple options and told me when it would be done. Ring was a channel set, so not just anyone can work on those, and was important to me that I meet who would be working on it and know that they knew what they were doing.They had it ready when they told me it would be done (2 weeks), and it looked like the day I got it (37 years ago). Price was I thought very reasonable given how much needed to be done. They also have a nice selection of other items (I had to look!) with a good quality/price value compared to some of the bigger stores. Would definitely recommend and will be a repeat customer!!

Was recommended this place by a relative that got her engagement ring from here. I went in just to get my wedding rings polished and turns out I actually had a missing prong on my center diamond. I was helping my son look for an engagement ring. He was using a center stone from my ring. He found the perfect unique setting. Customer service was outstanding. No pressure. AMAZING PLACE WITH AMAZING PEOPLE WORKING!!! My engagement ring was my late grandmothers, and this past June I took it there and they reinforced the prongs that hold the diamond and restored the band. These amazing people made my ring look BRAND NEW!! Recently, I bent the band while wearing it, so I decided to take it to a jeweler that was closer to me (will NEVER do that again). That jeweler gave me the ring back more bent than before and the diamond/prongs were off center. I then IMMEDIATELY took it to CDI, where they were able to look at it and assured me that they will make it look new again. Just one week, I picked up the ring and it’s back to its former glory!! I am ever so grateful!! This ring means a lot for both me and my family, and we are all so happy with the work they have done!! They were able to fix another jewelers mistake (which says A LOT in my book). I will forever recommend everyone I meet to go there. And to top it off, they are all SO informative! Its taken me a while to getting around to writing this, but I had such a great experience here I couldnt not share. This was, like many other people, my first time shopping for an engagement ring. I had already casually looked at the larger chains like Tiffany, etc., and the experience at these chains was exactly what I expected and dreaded. As soon as you walk in youre swarmed by sales people and drilled with questions. They do everything they can to get you to put down a deposit and you can immediately tell they do not have your best interests at heart. But, how can you blame them when their compensation is directly tied to commission? They had some nice rings in their stores, but I assumed I needed to do a lot more research on my own since I knew the information I was getting from these places was targeted to sell me and not educate me on what I should be looking for. I decided to try a local jeweler and settled on CDI based on the stellar reviews. We all know reviews can be bought or fake, so I didnt get my hopes up here either. I had my guard up walking in, and I was pleasantly surprised when they didnt jump from their seat as soon as the door opened. They greeted me, asked me what I was looking for, directed me to the place to look, and let me check things out for a bit. The communication was initiated first by me when I had some questions. I dealt directly with Matt and he was wonderful to work with. He was full of knowledge and expertise and I never once felt like he was trying to sell me on something just to get a sale. The great thing about CDI is you can buy loose diamonds and have them set whichever setting you like. This allows you to choose the perfect cut and size and then take that specific diamond and put it in a setting to your specifications. I was looking for something very specific that Matt didnt have in store (he had a ton of options but I was dead set on a specific size and clarity (internally flawless). Matt was glad to acquire a few diamonds that fit my criteria and have them brought into the store the next week. When I went in the next week we examined each of the diamonds under an electronic microscope and looked at each grading certificate. One of them checked all of the boxes and looked absolutely perfect. He even let me walk out of the store with it (by myself!) to see what it looked like in the sun. I couldnt have been more pleased with the experience and I was truly shocked that you could buy an engagement ring without having to fight off hungry sales people and misleading information. If youre looking for a place to buy an engagement ring or any other type of high-end jewelry, at least walk in and check it out and I can guarantee you will be able to confirm everything I said in this email is true. WOW!!After our previous jeweler closed up shop, I’ve been on the hunt for somewhere close and convenient that I could trust to take over the care of my rings, I just wasn’t comfortable with some places offering to “ship it off” for the work to be done. Not only was the service so pleasant when calling for details on cost for my anniversary to be sautered to my entire bridal set but also being told they would be redipped and checked for loose stones and info for the turn around time (less than a week and stays local which was key to me!).Just picked my rings up today and could not be more pleased. From the service to the like new shone they’re casting, we are so so pleased and will be returning for all future needs!

I am so happy with the service I received from Matt and the CDI team. I went in originally to have my ring cut off my finger, it was too small. Matt was amazing. I returned after my finger settled a bit, and received a great price on having both rings be sized by the half shank method. I have to say, when I received them today, I couldnt be happier. They are as stunning as the day we married, 16 years ago. They even ensured I had a ring cleaner and knew how to use it. Theyve become my go to jeweler- and Im driving in from Reynoldsburg.

First off, this is two reviews in one. The first is for Matt and my experience buying an engagement ring. The second is a review for Ernie and my experience buying wedding bands.I want to start off by apologizing to Matt for the delay in this review. I visited CDI Diamonds back in mid 2018 because of the excellent reviews and that they would explain everything there is to know about diamonds while showing you on a microscope what a close of a different diamonds looks like. I had already done my homework, but I wanted to see what real life examples looked like. It was exactly what I needed and even though I didnt find the diamond I wanted here, I came back to buy the ring and so they could set the diamond. Matt gave me a great price and even guaranteed satisfaction on the four vs six prong setting. We ended up going with six, instead. The ring and diamond came out excellent and my fiance at the time fell in love with it and still loves it today! Matt is excellent and I would gladly come back to do business even if it is out of the way for me.Last, but not least, I also want to apologize to Ernie for the delay on this review as well. By now, which is late 2019, they have moved into their new location and the new building looks similar to the old one with upgrades. My fiance and I had more or less visited multiple places to get an idea of market price and figure out what we really wanted. We decided to go back to CDI because of how great everything went with the engagement ring. We werent disappointed. Ernie helped us out and gave us a good deal for what we wanted and so we purchased our wedding bands here too.Many thanks to both Matt and Ernie for all of their help with everything theyve done for us. While my boyfriend, at the time, and I were shopping for jewelry, we ran across the Jewelry store, CDI Diamonds & Jewelry. The great reviews were the reason we stopped in. Matthew helped us to find the perfect ring and customized it to be exactly what we were looking for. He helped us to stay close to within out budget for the ring. Even though he had a friend waiting for him, as Im guess his shift was over, he made sure we took our time and to not feel rushed in making our decision. Matt takes great pride in being a jeweler and it really shows. The ring is beautiful and Im always sure to tell anyone that asks where we got it, and that we loved our experience picking it out. Recently went to fix two of my rings that both broke on the band. They had them fixed sooner then expected, we’re beautifully cleaned and sparkle like crazy now. While I was there they also cleaned my engagement ring. They helped pick out a mother’s day gift for my mom and were genuine, caring, and just so interactive with me. To start, I am a medical student on a budget who was looking for the perfect engagement ring. I went to roughly 6 diamond stores before coming to CDI. Before this store, I felt like I wasnt being taken seriously because of my budget and no one really made time to help me. After getting drowned in thousands of rings with Halos, I finally stumbled upon CDI who gave me the freedom to completely customize the ring you see below. Matt ordered a few diamonds with my specifications/price range and gave me the opportunity to pick everything for myself.
