I had heard good things about Par Golf Discount from fellow golfers and wanted to give a local business a chance over a big-box store.I went in to try new 3-woods and get a driver fitting.They provided me with a lot of options and even let me take a club out for the weekend to test it in real world conditions.I was not getting better performance with any of the drivers I tested compared to my current driver and it was refreshing to not be pushed or sold on buying a new club anyway. The associate told me that he thought I needed to optimize my driver swing before investing in better equipment and couldnt in good conscience recommend spending $ on a new club.Because of this, he did not charge me for the fitting. I ended up buying a 3 wood from them and couldnt be happier. I definitely will be coming back for any of my golf needs.(I even took the 3 wood Par Golf let me trial to the PGA superstore down the street to compare it with other clubs on a different simulator. The PGA superstore employees were indifferent and showed no desire to help in any way. This made the decision to go with Par Golf even easier.)

Drove an hour and half to have some emergency club repair done and got to say Im beyond happy with the service! Fixed my club while I waited and looked around the insane amount of inventory! Will def be making the drive down again in future to make more purchases!

I drove over a hour to look around. I was looking at a titlist and cobra speedzone drive and 3 wood. One of the other customers suggested a driver. I picked it up and fell in love. Jack was awesome helping figure out my swing with the Mizuno jpx900 driver (used but new to me). Jack also found a used Cobra f9 3 wood in excellent condition he recommended. Spent time in the simulator with both and loved them. Bought both. Thanks Jack

Awesome local shop. I went in with very minimal knowledge and they helped me find the clubs that fit me. Even had a space to hit some balls and test the clubs out. Great prices, quick re-grips, and they even threw in a free head cover!Couldnt recommend this shop more! Cant wait to go back.

Par Golf Discount store is the best for all your golfing needs in the Columbus area. I was looking at some used clubs to purchase and they took the time to go over all the aspects of the clubs to make sure they were a fit for my golf swing. They will not sell you something that does not fit your abilities. Everyone was very patience with my questions before my purchase. They even offered to bend to .05 to 1% flat for me if i wanted it at a later time. I can highly recommend this store to anyone who is in the market for anything golf related.

Pretty much the only place that will haggle and trade but depending on whos behind the desk you either get a bad haggle or no haggle or just plane ripped off.

The best service I’ve ever had in a golf store. Friendly, knowledgeable, didn’t hover but was present and helped me identify the types of irons best for my swing speed. Ill never buy golf equipment anywhere else. I had a great experience being fit for new irons by Paul. I spent some time talking with the owner Dan after my fitting and hes a great guy who loves the game. He cut me a great deal on some grips and a new wedge to match my set. I was so happy I got a putter when my fitted clubs came in. While I was in the store at least 6 people came in and Dan knew them all by name. I have been golfing my entire life and have had the same irons for 20 years. I finally decided it was time for new irons and a friend recommended I go to par golf and get fitted. I was very disappointed in the service I received. After spending about 15 minutes looking through irons and not being able to get any questions answered I went to the front desk and asked about a fitting. The employee at the front desk said they won’t have time and I can try to come back some other time and “maybe” they can assist. If you want to talk to someone about which irons are best I don’t recommend going here

The staff was awesome. I worked with Lawrence, he was very knowledgeable and in tune with what I was wanting and willing to work with me however I needed to get fitted for a new set of irons. The staff even looked very closely after the fitting was complete to notice that the lofts I was getting in a couple clubs were not what I was needing and changed the clubs after the fact to make sure I was getting the right set. Had a great experience for a putter re-grip and 3-wood grip pull and lengthen. Most places wont pull grips and put them back on because they dont have the skill, this place does. Im from out of town and couldnt leave a club overnight so he did the work quickly, while I watched and let me take it with me with strict instructions for epoxy drying, which I loved for the attention to detail. Great selection of grips, apparel, used and new putters. Probably the last real golf shop left in Columbus, check it out!

I went through the full fitting process and everything came out right in the end.I wasnt concerned too much with the price but when I looked it up afterward I couldnt find what I ordered for a cheaper price online and I got to swing it before I bought it.I was so satisfied I bought a putter and a hybrid afterward and I wont go anywhere else for my golf equipment.

Just a great golf store, came in here today for the first time for a re-gripping and they took care of me in 5 minutes. Great premium selection of clubs, had the brand new Mizuno irons in stock and a case full of Scotty Cameron’s. Staff was really friendly, I would heavily recommend over Golf Galaxy, Dicks etc

I will be shopping here for anything golf related from now on. I needed new irons and I was terrified to get fitted for clubs. I am not good and the thought of hitting in front of someone gave me horrible anxiety. I sucked it up and went to Par Golf and I am so glad I did. Lawrence made me feel really comfortable and I learned so much that I can use in my golf game and down the road. Went to golf galaxy and tried to purchase a super stroke putter grip. Their selection was just terrible and no one really cared about my questions and were super rude. I left upset until I tried par discount. Went there and was in and out in 5 minutes with a brand new superstroke putter grip. Also they said if they didnt have what I was looking for they could order it and have it ready the next day. What kind of place offers that great of service? Well par discount does. This will now be my one and only golf shop. Thank you for your great service even late in the day, very appreciated.

Knowledgeable and I could tell. I broke my 7-iron shaft and wanted to replace it will the one from my 4-iron. Several shops told me it could not be done, though I knew that was not the case. I knew there was enough length on the parallel tip left to cut it and still get the same kick point. I walked in this place and was instantly told they could do it. A simple case of not talking down to your customers as they can be educated as well. Thanks for the repair guys; I will be in for all my golf needs from now. There are so many phonies in the game of golf shops and you won me over.
