Employees are phenomenal. They know their stuff and even referred me to numerous local businesses to find the specific electronics best buy doesnt carry at all. Most corporate employees are terrible, the three I talked too about different things answered everything and we had fun doing it.

Nice place, but the staff aren’t very helpful. The gentleman that I talked to didn’t know much about the Apple Watch I was looking at. The only think he offered was to ring me up right away and make the sale. There interests are before yours.
Everytime Ive been here Ive never had a bad experience. Im able to find an associate(whom is helpful and isnt pushy or doesnt rush) and Im in and out without a problem.
Not much DVD movies and no more music Cds in store anymore. Still decent on t.v.s, stereos, Appliances
Short on inventory other than that in and out nobody got hurt.
Lots of places to play baseball. We see our grandson play there a lot as they live only a few blocks away. Also townteam ball as our sons play for Farley and play there a lot. Tough afternoon sun but I guess only a green monster would help that. Trees could be planted for the future. Steve.

We stopped in the Best buy in Dubuque to purchase a TV and needed some advice. The store was not back to pre-pandemic inventory levels, but they had what we needed and best of all they had fantastic employees helping us through the entire process. Job well done!
They always seem to have someone knowledgeable to help you with any question(s) you may have. Sometimes you need to have them slow down and speak English, though; technology gets a little confusing for a lot of people. (like yours truly) Overall, great help! With all the options they have in so many different areas, it gets a little diluted when it comes to actually being able to see an item, other than looking it up on their website for you. Im more of a touch, see, feel (operate) kind of client.

Bought 2 TVs. The sales guy was ok, but didnt come across as very knowledgeable about the product. It really showed when the TV ended up having a different user interface than previous models. It was mentioned that the other TVs at home were all the same brand and the user interface was part of the decision making process, yet no mention that this was the next years model and they changed interfaces.The tv in the box didnt fit in the car, so we took it out and secured it, sans box. When asked if they could dispose of the box, response was that they had to check with the manager. Hmmm, just spent over $1000 in your store, I think the proper thing to say is, of course I can take care of that. (And it was just the box. The styrofoam we kept to pack the tv securely in the back seat)

In and out great help this time
The staff was great and very helpful when I made the purchase. Thank Julie for that. However curbside pick up was a different story. I called and was told that the washer needed to remain standing upright but when the guys brought it out it was laying on its side and didnt even try to stand it up in my vehicle because they were having trouble just lifting it into the van. I dont know what they would have done if I had brought my truck. Very disappointing.
This Best Buy doesnt have a lot so if you go there looking for something it best you find it online or go to a bigger Best Buy than this one. You will likely walk out disappointed 😞
I hardly ever go to Best Buy because it seems overpriced. Also, I dont care to hear greeting at the door that is as long as the Gettysburg address. Thats not the employees fault- thats corporate. The Dubuque Best Buy is pretty standard.
The guy in the tablet department doesnt know what hes talking about. He should get more training and customer service skills.-Written on the tablet he said not to buy.
No service, no manager, not sure if they even know how to work the computer system. You are better off ordering from somewhere else online.

Found everything except an HDMI cable. Its something unusual to be out of stock. Otherwise I was able to find everything I needed.
As of 6/27/21 inventory is getting low. Service is always excellent.

Im not at all pleased by their online purchases. It often doesnt indicate whether an item is ship to your door or pick up at the store. Im almost never home during their store hours, and this is a major problem for me. I also didnt want to make an extra trip into town today under the threat of them cancelling my item if I didnt pick it up by the next day.
Worst place EVER! Shop here at your own risk. Purchased kitchen appliances with warranty to have nothing but problems. Contacted warrenty support AGAIN to be told its not covered and no one to service the issues that are covered in this area. 2 months at best for getting someone to this area to even look at the issue and was told they have 90 days after that to fix it. Terrible service and experiences. Not to mention to even get support it took 4 phone calls and hold times ranging from 35 min to 50min to get a human voice.
The selection was really bare, but its a global pandemic, so that expected. You can check online to make sure they have what you want first! The staff is super friendly, but theyre not at the stop harassing me level that some Best Buys are at, which I really appreciated. Overall, a great, clean store, if a bit bare!

Welcome to my first 1 star review! I have had nothing but bad experiences in this store. Do not buy appliances here, the installation is terrible. Today, they closed down the typical registers and all checkouts were done through customer service. Of course, the lines were not clear with people randomly walking up however they felt like. This coupled with social distancing was a total disaster. Nothing like waiting 15 minutes in line for two checkouts and then have people step in front of you because the lanes werent clear. Not coming back unless I absolutely have to.

This place is always out to get your money. You can find better products at cheaper prices online. It gets 2 stars because it can be a nice place to look at tech you can find for half the price elsewhere. I recently bought a displayport cable for $30. It stopped working within 2 days. I got a full refund and have been using an $8 cable from Amazon since.
Only browsed, polite staff who are willing to help out in any way. Got approached twice but did not get nagged. Clean place clean restrooms.

Always occupied with helpful staff. Nice and organized with product placement easy to navigate through. Return can be made quite easily, giving the assurance that you can test something out to see if it fits your daily needs, without worrying that you are stuck with it if it doesnt work.

Ordered a 70 inch Samsung tv and when I opened it the screen was broken. Called customer service and was told they’d bring me a new one the next day. Still haven’t received the replacement tv and can’t get ahold of anyone when I call. Pathetic service.
After a couple small purchases, I decided to make Best Buy my store for major purchases. I ha bought a computer, laptops, phones, and earphones from them. Be sure to get Geek Squad protection and protection for your device, such as Apple Care. And Best Buy will match any price.
The employees were very helpful and friendly. Some are a little more pushy, but not all. If you find one you like stick with them.Pretty good selection, prices are pretty inline for a non-online store, and arent too high period. Im always surprised at how easy Best Buy makes it to get things taken care of.
If you want quality items, this is the place. Which is always good in my book.

Full disclosure, I worked at this Best Buy up until 3 years ago when we moved. That said, when I revisited the store and many new faces, the store had kept up its high quality service. After working there and knowing what happens behind the scenes, I can tell you that customer satisfaction for the long run is the driving force for this team.And if you are wondering if geek squad protection is worth it, while I dont purchase it for everything these days I do still purchase it for many of my items. I find the support to be one of the primary things that keeps me coming back.
Spent 50 minutes on hold to speak to someone about a broken screen on my daughters new chromebook. Once I asked they put me back on hold for 40 more minutes just yo hang up on me the next time I asked. Horrible customer service
Best Buy is Best Buy. As always be prepared to be asked if you need assistance every five minutes. They have good sales and promotions from time to time, otherwise they can be more expensive on some items in comparison. I window shop and then compare prices to other places either in person or online. Best Buy probably has the best customer service, when it comes to buying electronics. I cant state with absolute certainty on the other items they sell, but if you need answers to electronics; they can be a great resource.
Nice place to be able to go to keep up on electronic equipment. Pleasantly surprised they even carry Raspberry Pi there, I do hope they expand more into the realm of maker space and DIY kits more.

Best buy Dubuque has came a long way. Made great strides. No more rude management. Now a very nice polite manager, who wants people happy. BIG DIFFERENCE. So glad that I decided to give bestbuy another try.

I cant say enough good things about Best Buy. They went above and beyond to accommodate a return--and I had slightly missed the cut off date for returns. They say they are customer oriented and that they want their customers to be happy. They live up to that claim 100%. I plan to continue to be a Best Buy consumer.
Ordered something online a week ago. Item was supposed to arrive today. Best Buy was kind enough to cancel it the day it was supposed to arrive. What a waste.

I waited over 2 hours waiting for Customer support on the phone, and they told me to check online for availability on a product when online it told me to check the local store and call what trash they’ve became during the carona virus when it comes to help don’t call them they won’t help you I would give them zero stars if I could.
Great experience pulled up at closing time and they opened up a register and still let me purchase some items. Unfortunately one employee did come up to me and say “hey when the gates are closed that means we are closed don’t do it again.” In a angry tone. Otherwise Bryan and Dillion got me squared away very well, wish I had the name of that rude employee.
Purchased movies that said they were on sale not removed from floor signagedthat should have been removed. Brother purchased for me Was told this when left your business and I would had not purchased.
I want to give a shout out for an absolutely terrible customer service experience. We purchased a 65-inch tv in person on Saturday from a super friendly salesperson and we scheduled delivery for Monday. We got the email with our delivery window and we took a half day off work to wait for it. It never showed. We called, and it was in a ‘reschedule status’ and they wouldn’t tell us why. They didn’t offer to make it right. Simply, ‘it’s going to be rescheduled,’ and that’s that. So, we took half a day off of work, and now we’ll need to devote half a day this upcoming Saturday to wait/hope for it to arrive as (re)-scheduled.My advice is to shop elsewhere or even shop online. Shopping at this location and setting up delivery simply isn’t worth the trouble.
I called here about getting my computer fixed under the manufacturer warranty (directed to do this by the manufacturer as they have a contract with Best Buy to do his). They told me to just come in and they would replace it. I asked if I needed an appointment and they said no. Drove 45 minutes to get here and was told I needed an appointment with geek squad and the closest appointment was 7. Missed my plans to wait for the appointment. Went to the appointment and was told it was a hard drive issue and they would be sending it to the service center for repairs. They told me they didn’t need the charger so to just take it with me. Got a call the next day saying they could fix it in store but needed the charger. Told them I could drop it off the next day. The next day I woke up to another voice mail saying they needed the charger and they think they can fix it in store but if I have any other issues to let them know. Thought this was weird but whatever. Bring them the charger. A couple days later I get an email saying it’s ready to be picked up. Go and pick it up and they say they fixed it and it wasn’t doing the issue anymore. Got home and tried to use it and it immediately blue screened again. I called them to tell them and they said all they can do is send it to the service center (what they were originally supposed to do) and I need to bring it back to the store which is 45 minutes away. Called the manufacturer and they were really apologetic and are sending me a shipping label to their service center instead. Never buying from here again no one knows what they’re doing and they keep you on the run around.
