Every time I come in here, I have a great experience! All the guys are so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They have a great selection to choose from for both archery and hunting at competitive prices. Plus, its a locally owned business! Both ranges are great to use, but it does get VERY hot in the summer. I know they offer archery classes for kids through Dubuque County activities and they are a hunting and fishing license location. Took my Winchester cantaliver buck sx3 to trade it in and I cant believe how bad they wanted to low ball me. I took it elsewhere and got twice as much...no joke twice as much. I will never go back to trisate again.

My 17 year old wanted a beginners bow, and we were recommended to come here..SO happy we did. Top notch advice and service both times we were in the shop. Jack was so patient and great with us-and with the multiple others that stopped in while my son got his bow adjusted. Awesome!!

Knowledgeable staff with a great selection in stock. The gun range is safe and well maintained. Having an archery range upstairs is a bonus.

I just bought my first pistol for concealed carry here and they helped me through the whole process very nicely and thoughtfully. The worker pointed me in the right direction and got me a great deal on a Sig P365 compact. I will definitely be going back, they know their stuff.

I’ve bought two guns from here and have been extremely happy with the customer service. They were not pushy and offered great advice. My wife took the concealed carry class here and was very impressed with the amount of knowledge and experience. Very practical.

Went shooting last week and we understood they close at 8:00 but the gentleman with the broom kept hanging out over our shoulders constantly asking if we were done shooting at 7:40, not good customer service. If your hours say 8:00 then stay open until 8:00 if you want to clean up and be gone at 8:00 then say 7:45 on your hours posted. When my Dad went to pay, he is a little older and not very fast the other gentleman at the counter was becoming very inpatient with him while trying to pay with a debit card. Not a fan... At a time when we should be promoting this sport they did nothing to make me want to come back and spend more money there...

Needed to ship some guns dropped them off to Jeff he gave them a quick look over then said he’ll take care of it. A couple days later I received a email from Jayne apologizing be cause the number quoted was a few dollars off. Tonight I stopped to pay the bill and the cashier mistook something I said and thought I was short that few bucks so Terry comes over and reaches in his pocket to settle it with own money! Who offers customer service like that! I don’t buy a lot of guns but you’d be crazy not to stop and give them a look.

I have been here to purchase weapons and shoot. Great service from awesome staff!!Archery Dept. Did an excellent job of setting up my bow that I had purchased from my son. Very reasonable.

Had them put a scoop on and they put the rail on backwards. I couldn’t get is sighted in and took it back it was fixed but now the crosshairs are crooked not impressed at all don’t go there

I can honestly say I’ve always enjoyed going to tristate i frequent the range often and am always met with the same courteous And professional attitude from each member of their staff, everyone is ready, willing and more than qualified to help with any and all of your needs no matter your skill set so I encourage people every chance I get to stop by and take a look around have some fun and who knows maybe meet some new friends along the way !

Really like this spot. They are very helpful and the in door range is awesome. For bows, cross bows and firearms. Even though I cant shot my 30-30 here still a good spot to shot. Staff is very helpful.

Decent selection of guns and bows with ranges for both to try before you buy and the staff knows the products they sell. 20 yard range for non high power weapons. Usually plenty of room but there are only 8-10 lanes. Decent setup with powered target setup and retrieval. Worth the trip. Its my place to go to have some fun with friends.

Nice local bow and gun store. Not a huge selection of products but there staff is extremely helpful. They have a bow range, even though it only goes to 20 yards it is nice enough. Id recommend this play if you are looking to have your bow tuned up before hunting season.

Very nice, intelligent, patient and helpful staff. Good stock options. Indoor range (sadly no high power) limited to rim fire and hand guns. Up to 2 shooters per lane if you like.

Cheap to go rent a lane guys are very serious about gun safety for good reason. If you just want to throw some lead and work on marksmanship this is a good place they also offer lots of classes one on one.

They charged me $30 just to mount a scope with fastening 4 screws at most.

Excellent knowledge and service for the novice and experienced. We have purchased 4 firearms here and they have been very helpful. We have also had two firearms worked on there with no problems.

Ive used the range here. You cant beat the value. Had a positive experience.Take the one star reviews with a grain of salt. Sure, maybe their employees could perk up a bit, but its all good.

Nice shop for guns, amo, accessories, archery. Most of the people are helpful and friendly. The handgun range is adequate and reasonably priced. The archery range is also very good.

Went in last night to look at ar15 options. The man was not pushy on the most expensive gun. Was very knowledgeable and helpful. Returned today and bought it. This guy working today was very helpful and knowledgeable as well. I had a good experience and will be returning for my future needs.

Sorry, had shot here a few times, bow services bent my Mathews bow riser due to lack of inexperience. Unfortunately they offered no assistance once I found the issue, they acused me of doing it myself.A side note, I have worked for 4 different archery shops in my past in different parts of Wisconsin. I have more experience than any of their techs.

Went in to see what the qualifications were to shoot there. Was told we had to go to police station to get permission. Staff was very rude to African Americans. That gun shop should not be in a residental area too much noise. The gun shop is so outdated, why waste your time when you can go elsewhere. Thumbs down.

Worse possible store to have downtown. Employees are rude and enjoy being belligerent to neighbors. They have no concern but for those that benefit them themselves. Quite possibly the worse public representation I have seen.

Really old equipment and apparel a lot of it is from the late 90s early 2000s very dusty and still asking new price probably should let go of the past and worry about the future update to store lot more and throw away the old antiques
