Great shopping experience at Michaels in Asbury Plaza in Dubuque!! We found everything we needed from birthday gift ideas plus certain items for my business.

The staff is lovely; enthusiastic and kind individuals. It’s always clean and well organized, and I love their coupons.

Didnt find exactly what was looking for but a fun place to shop for crafts and crafty materials

Awesome, canvas frames with my diamond paintings, ribbon and frames from Michaels

Over priced, no employees to ask for assistance, small selection of scrapbooking and baking supplies. Im not sure what happened they used to have so many different stickers and scrapbook paper & tons of different molds and other baking supplies. We went in this afternoon and we were soooooo disappointed.

Lots of wonderful project ideas.

Friendly & helpful staff. Did not have the items in stock I needed even though the website said they did. Hopefully websites will catch up with actual in store stock soon.

Great items and sales. However they only get 2 stars because every time I go in I have to watch the checker they ALWAYS DOUBLE CHARGE and they only have one checker without backup. The last 2 times I was in there they double charged me after I waited in line for 15 min in line. Need more cashiers and more training for cashiers.

Very impressed with the sweet girl that helped me out today! Knowledgeable, honest, and fun spirited. So much items all over (organized!) I could spend hours there! Ive been here before many times and each time it was hard to find an associate. And when you do find one - they are never friendly and emotionless. So it was refreshing to find the associate I did today. Always awesome deals & coupons!

Lot of cool stuff, just really overpriced. But Im a pretty frugal guy so take that with a grain of salt.

Yarn selection gets smaller and smaller. Couldnt even find anything I wanted to spend money on. Sad store chain nowadays.

I like the store and Patron this location regularly. One of my favorites. I give four stars because a year ago one of the staff in back could not mount a painting into a frame for me. Then just the other day I was asking one of the staff in back to Simply cut some fashionable paper stock by three quarters of an inch so it would fit into the back of a frame behind a photo. The girl behind the counter said she didnt think she had the tools to do it. So management, Ill leave it with you. Again I like the store.

I wish they had a fabric section but otherwise its a great shop!

The employees are nice. If you have the app and need help finding where something is, the app will give an aisle number. The coupons on the app also work well and I havent had a problem with them.

They always have specials/coupons for tons of great craft products and usually have what I’m looking for in stock. The associates are friendly and try to be as helpful as they can be.

Such a snazzy business. Was immediately helped with ideas for my gnarly oatmeal photography framing projects from the amazing managers Nora and Cass. I recommend coming here for your own tubular endeavors because this michaels, and the staff within it will without a doubt get your creativity juices flowing!

Recently, I went to Michaels (after being at other craft stores) to find a special paint. I had no idea what it was called, didnt know if it was acrylic or oil, so I wasnt getting my hopes up since I had no luck at other places, but I knew what I wanted to use it for & that was about it. As I walked toward the paint aisle- an employee asked if she could help me, she was so friendly I began to try my best to explain what I needed & she was amazing! Her nametag said Tish. Tish listened intently, took me to another aisle & proceeded to give me a few options! What a pleasant surprise ~ she was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable! So thankful I decided to go to Michaels and extremely thankful for their awesome employee - Tish! She is definitely an asset to Michaels. Great customer service is so important- that is what keeps people coming back! Now, Michaels will be my first go-to place for my craft needs! Thank you & a big Kudos to Tish!

Typical crafts store. Fairly well-stocked.

Did not get the correct refund. The manager insisted she was correct in giving me half of what I paid. After I got home & pulled up my PayPal payment I see that she was wrong. Now ai have to make another hour trip to get the straightened out.

Nice place for most crafting needs and some home decor. They also offer some classes. There are always coupons you can find online or in their app.

They do tend to have a very good selection, but so do all the other Michaels stores. Nothing about this location really stands out to make it better than the rest. No one who works there is overly friendly, but no one seems to be rude either. It definitely pays to use the 40% off one regular-priced item coupon which can always be found on their website.

Was able to find everything I was looking for. Craft stores seem to have less and less these days so its nice to find a store with everything I want in one place.

There is plenty of variety - the coupons are helpful. The staff have always been good at administering coupons I may not have been aware of.

My go to place for DIY projects

I went there around Christmas. An amazing selection.

Always like their sales and good selection of products. Im usually checking out the storage items of all different types of materials and options. Of course for us Crafters this is one of the best places to shop for supplies and ideas!! Have also used the frame shop now at Dubuque store...very helpful in selecting the right frames for the pictures I had mounted. Know they will help me with a couple more projects in the future!! Watch their ads (online or paper ads) and come stock up!

It would be nice if they had employees that work there. Maybe then you could ask a question like where something was.

Bought tombstone flowers at 50% off, plus a few misc items, i.e. magnet closures for necklaces and a beautiful ring. I love that Michaels has the crafty items. I was disappointed with the lack of artificial greenery, compared to what they used to have.

Mulitple error at register. Shelf pricing was mislabeled. Deals we thought we were getting were changed at full price. Pointed out the discrepancy and had a manager argue with us at the register from a seat in their office. This is disrespectful and unnecessary. I will not be returning

Couldnt find anyone to help me and when I finally did, even though she was nice, they didnt have what I was looking for. The cashier acted like he didnt want to be there. Not a good experience this time.

** cannot seem to alter heading. I wrote this review for Catfish Charlies in Dubuque, IA.**2 people in my family have gotten ill at Catfish Charlies after dining here, on two different visits. The visits were six months apart. The accoustics are very poor, so if you have a hearing deficit carrying on a conversation is difficult when resturant is busy. During my recent visit when my wait staff asked how my food was, I explained that one portion of the meal was very questionable, they had no idea how to reply to my politely worded and instead asked me if I had ever had the food item before. There was no offer to substitute another item. This restaurant needs improvements and if they improved their food spices and textures, staff training and even spruced up the back deck area and landscaping it could become a more attractive place to visit. Location is everything for this restaurant, as its situated in a marina; I dont think it would do as well if it werent for that.
