My wife and I were headed to the Milwaukee Irishfest from Omaha in late August. Along the way, my Triumph motorcycle overheated. I did some emergency repair and called. The service department said to stop in. They were fully booked for service but Eric (I believe that was his name) squeezed me in for a quick look. He did some diagnostic/repair service and got me going again. They were genuinely concerned about our well being as they also ride and related to our vulnerable situation. I’d definitely do business with them again if I lived in the area.. Thanks again, much appreciated!

I was riding in the area from Chicago and had a flat tire on my bike. I was looking at purchasing 2 new tires to make them match. After checking the tire i was told it was the valve stem. Instead of 2 new tires for $250 it was a $12 valve stem. Great to know there are still honest people in business. Highest rating. Good people. Great service.

Went in for a scooter flag about eight years ago. Couple of old guys were talking, one behind the counter, one in the customer area. I waited about 20 minutes patiently for the guy behind the counter to finish their personal conversation. They both looked increasingly irritated until one of them said LOOK KID WHAT DO YOU WANT! I then asked for a scooter flag and the guy said WE DONT HAVE EM! My brother also went there to buy a motorcycle since and had a similarly bad experience. He drove to cedar Rapids and bought one. If I recall correctly I think they yelled at my brother not to sit on the motorcycles. To put this into perspective I was in my late twenties and he was in his thirties.

I have been a long time customer of Sindt Motor Sales, since 2002. Great place to do business with; whether buying a new or used motorcycle or simply getting the oil change. It is truly a family owned business, and they have pride in their business, which then reflects on to the customer.

They took 35 minutes to get me a price on a battery. Everyone seemed friendly, just no sense of urgency. I would however return.

I went to get a tire change on my cbr500r (both tires) and my rims had zero scratches on it. When I got the bike back the outside rims were covered in scratches (both tires). I love to keep my motorcycles clean and kept up with. So I didn’t like the scratches on my rims, as any normal person wouldn’t.

I brought in a pair of motorcycle wheels already taken off the bike to have tires mounted. The labor was $99 to mount and balance 2 tires. Expensive, but done correct.

Took my triumph in for servicing and not only did they do all worked asked but they went out of there way and made sure everything on the Bike was correct and found problems that I didnt even know existed on my ride. They even took care of issues free of charge then when the bill came I was pleasantly surprised that it less than quoted... I will definitely come here for all my future work!

What can I say, but Thank You Sindt Motor Sales. My first motorcycle was purchased here in 1964. I am a faithful customer. They have always treated me like family, and everyone I know says the same thing.

Filled out their finance application online and received an auto responder that stated: Thank you for your interest in financing your purchase. A member of our staff will be contacting you shortly. At Sindt Motor Sales we pride ourselves on providing superior customer service and a quality product. I waited 2 hours after my online submission for a call or email. Didnt get anything, so I decided to stop in and find out what was going on. Upon walking into the store, I saw several salespeople standing around and chatting but no one bothered to greet me or offer to help. After waiting a few minutes for them to acknowledge me, I finally went up to one of the salespeople and explained my situation. I was told that they hadnt pulled my application yet and would work on it right away. I was handed a business card with the name Dan Sindt on it, so I assume this was the owner or a partner who I was talking to. He told me it would take a few minutes for them to run my application. I said no problem, I was on my way to lunch with my girlfriend and would check in after lunch. I left with his business card and went to lunch, which took about an hour give or take. On my way back from lunch, I called the store to find out if I could get financing for the motorcycle I wanted. They transferred me three times and had me on hold twice (for about six minutes each time) before I finally got to talk to Dan. Turns out Dan hadnt even started my application and said he would get on it right away. At this point, I was tired of their excuses. If they didnt want to earn my business, I would simply go somewhere else though I would much rather have done business locally. Drove down to Cedar Rapids and got the motorcycle I wanted in less than an hour with great financing terms. All I can say about Sindt Motors is they fall short of superior customer service and do not follow through on what they say they will do. They lost a local buyer and Im sure many more to come if they dont get their act together.

I took my 85 Gold Wing there for a minor engine leak and tune up. I went to the service dept. and explained what I wanted done. The first words out of the service managers mouth were I dont like working on 1200s After that it was downhill. He was rude and treated me like I was an idiot. The bike has only 40,000 miles on it but its been pampered. Its beginning to show some age but living on a firefighters pension I cant afford a new one. After he walked away from me a couple of times to get parts prices he came back and told me it didnt need a tune up. Then he told me what was wrong and gave me the cost to fix the oil leak. Again he told me he didnt want to work on it but said if I wanted to leave it he would see what he could do. Then I decided that I dont need or deserve t o be treated that way and left with my bike. I got it fixed at a different place for less then I was quoted (he was wrong about what was causing the leak). Other Honda owners have told me theyve experienced the same treatment. Before this Ive purchased parts there and the parts guys have been great. I just wont ever have my bike repaired there.

Had a breakdown with our 2015 Indian Trike. They picked us up on the street brought both bike and our bike trailor back to their shop. They tried to repair it but found out it made more sense to take it back to Minnesota where we bought it. They drove us to a u-haul rental, loaded the bike and trailor gave us tie-down straps and off we went.Ryan and is staff went way above and beyond in their helpfulness to us . Best experience with a breakdown we have ever had . Thanks Ryan and your staff.
