Fully communicated what I needed done a week prior, they were 100% on board.. Dropped a set of wheels/tires off the day before my appointment to get dismounted at their own convenience. They had 30 hours to do so so it was completely doable. My appointment was at noon the following day. Wheels/tires were not off and the new set of tires were ready to be mounted. My battery in the truck didnt fire up so instead of calling and asking if I wanted a replacement battery, they went ahead and went to the next appointment. (Still never mounted the wheels on the new tires). Finally, 3 hours later, a battery bought and installed and my wheels and tires get mounted, the fella behind the counter made a comment saying he has all these other vehicles he has to get done before 5. Not my problem being mine should have been done at my 12pm appointment. Overall, horrible communication and terrible customer service. Never again will I be back.

Ordered tires on Monday to be installed on Friday. Tech installed them then discovered they ordered the wrong size. Kevin inside suggested that they could file off the fender to make them fit. What??. I told him I needed the size I ordered. No real apology was made. I had driven an hour to the store to have Goodyear Eagles installed on my vehicle. My only choice then was to put made in China tires on. I was not happy. Very poor customer service

Tandem Downtown in Dubuque Iowa is an Exceptional place. If you can imagine the type of business traffic that is needed to preform not only residential car service but heavy truck and farm vehicles that is Tandem! The deals are plenty. I am a long distance driver and know a good deal! And a GOOD TIRE! Go there and you will be very happy.. talk to Kevin;-)

Was reasonably priced on tires, plus I like having the road hazard service. They will check air pressure and fix any nail holes etc. If that happens and its no worry.

I recently bought a new car and I unfortunately got a nail in the tire less than a week from having it. I got told the new tire + service would be from $100-$500 until I went to Tandem. Kevin helped me out and said he was able to patch the whole in my tire for a very good price and now my car drives perfect again!! Would 100% recommend going to Tandem Tire for any car issues. While on vacation I had a tire blow out on the highway. I put the temp tire on. I went to them to find a tire for my Ford Fusion. I arrived about 4:30pm on Friday. They had a tire and put it on my car. I was out of there before 5pm!!! These guys are great. They are fantastic and fast! I appreciated all they did for me!

It was a wonderful experience. When I called and explained what issues my jeep was having, Ryan got me right in at their soonest appointment time. I dropped my jeep off at 12:30pm and by 2 they had called and told me exactly what was wrong (something with my brake lines), what they did to repair it, and told me I also needed to have my brakes and rotors replaced sooner rather than later. I had asked if I should make another appointment to have those done. They told me since they already had my jeep, they’d be more than happy to replace them right then. Couple hours after that- I got another call saying my jeep was all ready to be picked up and was good as new. It drives like a brand new vehicle again. I will definitely be back to Tandem for any future repairs. 10/10. Thank you!

On 9/2/21 belt that runs my alternator and battery broke. I was in Dyersville at the time and had my car towed to Tandem on Harrison St. Since it was a holiday weekend they didnt get to fixing my car until 9/7/21. I always trust the guys to take care of my car. Thank goodness I only needed the belt. They also changed my oil and reset my security system. I am always treated very well with all your men. Sorry I cant say the same for your other store off of JFK road. Im afraid I was taken there. Id have given them no stars or never recommend them to my friends.

Excellent customer service! They were able to fit me into their busy schedule to fix a flat due to a screw in my tire. They even rotated and balanced my tires because they saw it was due!I highly recommend Tandem!

I bought brand new tires that barely lasted 20,000 miles and one that got a hole in it which I thought would of been covered by their road hazard I paid extra for ended up costing me the same price I paid for the tire in the first place. I wouldnt even bother spending money on the road hazard and not on that but when I first bought the tires they told me I didnt need an alignment which come to find out a couple months later I did and thats more than why 2 of my tires were cometley bald before they even had 15000 miles on then. And tandem wouldnt do anything about to fix the issue.

Ive always had Tandem tire do my tires and they do great work. Recently though Ive bought TWO sets of tires from Goodyear.com and it seems like the staff does not seem as willing to help with those orders like when you buy the tires directly from them, I cant put my finger on it. They still do great work! They still get FIVE Stars and I still highly recommend them.... Just seems different.

This review is from my father, Bob Haverland, who was unable to review on his own as he was only given the option to review on Google, Facebook, or with a Yellow Pages account, none of which he has. That alone is terrible.I sure hope Pat ONeill sees this as I am very disappointed in Tandem Tire on Harrison St. On Friday August 20 I dropped off a tire that was off my vehicle to have a flat repaired. At about 2ish. No problem fixing the flat as it was done late that day. Too late for me to come in. No call was made to me stating that the flat was repaired. Still ok. Figured it was too late in the day to have it mounted anyway. So Monday the 23rd I called at 9 ish to make an appointment to have the repaired tire mounted onto my truck. Pretty simple 6 lugs off and 6 lugs on. I was informed that the earliest it could be done was August 30th at 2:00. A week to install a repaired tire that YOU repaired. Just to let you know these 4 tires (one of the four that was repaired) that are on my truck were purchased from you. And most every set I needed to purchase on any vehicle I had for the past 30 years or so. Wow, what terrible customer service. You do know you have competition in the tire business. I am very upset about this and my wifes Ford Escape is about to have 4 new tires replaced so ???

Quick response for new tire purchase and installation. Had a loaner car to use but it was in of a cleaning before I used it. I cleaned it.

Just got to town for a weekend getaway (wife and I were visiting from Wisconsin and just drove a couple hours to get to Dubuque) and had brake issues. We randomly stopped by Tandem hoping they could help. They fit us in right away, fixed the brakes and gave us a loaner to bum around town while they worked. They were kind and charged a fair price. They Put wrong frequency on my low pressiure sensor.have to comeback there.When they do program on sensor second time they take out air From my tire without any jack under my Truck.hope so tire dont Get any damage like that.And They broke my aluminium rim Cover…

I phoned and ordered tires an oil change and an alignment. When I got there the alignment wasnt on their list and the tires I ordered werent there, I settled for a cheaper tire... they said they couldnt do an alignment because my ball joints were too worn and they couldnt fix it for a couple weeksThe salesman who did all this couldnt figure out how to put my oil change on my bill, He seemed new and needed to have further trainingIll have my alignment checked somewhere else and doubt Ill use Tandem tire again

I installed a level kit on truck had a alignment done truck still pulls to the left also specifically talked to the tech about the adjustable track bar stating I did not have it torqued down to spec and it needed to be adjusted to center the front axle. They did nothing with it.

Had muffler work done

Bad experience had lower control arm, struts, shocks, the rods replaced and and alignment done.. Brought in my own parts and job was done within an hour and a half and my car had sounded worse then it did when I had dropped it off and the alignment was still off and vehicle pulled to the rich hard still. Took it back twice and was told there was no issues. Had it looked at somewhere else and there was a passenger tie rod loose. I would not recommend tandem and thats very disappointing beings i have a family member who is employed with the conpany

Very slow service on getting tires fixed went and them had a store in Maquoketa they would work you in the same day you called them to get a tire fixed if you bought tires from them the one in Dubuque seems to take 3 to 4 days to a week to get a tire fixed for some reason when you buy tires from them

I was taking my children on a summer adventure. We broke down near this Goodyear. We were thousands of miles from home. Chad and the fellas in the bay were amazing! There was a long line of appointments and they managed to squeeze us in between other appointments and gave us the services we needed to get us going. They even suggested an amazing park for the kids to play at that was within walking distance so we didn’t have to sit waiting in the waiting area. I double checked with my husband when I got home that he charged me a fair price, my husband confirmed that he did us right. I managed to finish our 10,000 mile trip around the US with my five children in our minivan and we couldn’t have done it without the hard-working people at this location. This good year is part of our amazing family story! Thank you so much for treating us so well when we were in trouble and far from home!

None of the employees were wearing masks. The guys on the counter dont wear masks when they talk to you and the guys in the shop dont wear masks when they enter your vehicle. Its disgusting that customers wear masks and social distance but the employees dont. Im appalled at how careless and disrespectful this is.

My father and I were driving cross country in a truck towing a trailer when the trailer blew a tire. The guys at Tandem were extremely helpful and had a new tire on the trailer within 10 minutes for a very good price. They saved our trip - highly recommended!

I got a flat tire shortly before their store closed. I managed to get there shortly before closing, but the guys had to stay late to get me taken care of. There were all wonderful to work with and didnt seem the slightest bit annoyed that I was keeping them late. I really appreciated how kind and helpful they were. I recommend them 100%!
