I had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Sherrie at Cheryl-Ann Bridals. When we arrived, we had the whole store to ourselves. I had never tried on wedding dresses before, so Sherries experience and expertise were extremely helpful. She had clearly had reviewed my pre-visit questionnaire and knew what kind of styles I was looking to try on first. She brought countless beautiful gowns to the dressing room, but after just a few she knew what I was looking for and narrowed down to the perfect dress. Sherrie offered her thoughts and asked questions to help me think through what I liked and didnt like about each dress. A few dresses in, I was pretty sure I had found the one, but we had an appointment at another store that day. Sherrie did not pressure me to make a decision or buy it right away. She encouraged us to go to the other appointment, which we did, but I ended up coming back later that day, putting my dress on, and buying it! She also helped me sort through and find the perfect veil. I cant wait for the dress to come in. I would highly recommend that any bride in Dubuque and surrounding areas (including Chicago!) check out Cheryl-Ann.*Note - we visited during COVID-19 and the store had excellent distancing and mask usage. I went to Cheryl Ann bridals during a Maggie Sottero trunk show. I didn’t think I was going to buy anything while I was there because I really liked Mori Lee dresses and hadn’t even tried on anything of hers yet, but I fell in love with my dress! Sherrie is very nice and assists promptly with any questions or concerns you have. When my dress was ordered they missed the sleevelets, but corrected this. All the guys had gone in to get measured and most guys Tux’s ran small and had to reorder with 2 days to spare before the wedding. That was probably the most stressful part of the whole experience. We had also asked for pocket squares and they did have that written down so those arrive the day before the wedding. I really liked Sherrie so I hate giving anything less than 5, but I feel like there was more stress for me on my day than there needed to be with the tux’s. If you are going for just your dress they are wonderful.

The people were curious and were very knowledgeable about what I wantedThey was very attentive to my needs and extremely patient with my indecisiveness. I was very HAPPY with my purchase. I am happy that my boyfriend found Cher-Ann Bridals & Tux Rental.

Had an amazing experience! They went out of their way to take the time to help my sister pick a dress for her wedding! Was attentive to my sister’s request! Brought together some great dresses and really created a whole look for her to choose from! Very friendly! The area was clean and comfortable! Great place to go for all your dress needs!

The ladies at Cheryl-Ann make looking for a wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses easy and fun! They were very knowledgeable and accommodating. Shelby was exceptionally helpful; she helped me find the perfect dress from her suggestions on accessories. Im so thankful she helped me with my bridal appointment! Kate is wonderful too. She is always very friendly and knowledgeable about all things wedding attire! Also, after looking at 6 different stores for a wedding dress, Cheryl-Ann, in my opinion, was the one with the best prices and the best selection. If youre looking for dresses for a wedding, I would highly recommend putting Cheryl-Ann on your list to visit!

I’ve used Cheryl-Ann Bridals as a bridesmaid so having a visit as a bride was a must! Prior to our appointment, I had emailed Sherrie a couple of gowns I was interested in and told her what I would want to change about each. She did a wonderful job of finding my ideal dress because it was the first one I tried on! We also purchased the bridesmaids, flower girl, and mother of the bride dresses with as well as rented the grooms and groomsmen tuxedos Cheryl-Ann’s. We had a wonderful experience and can’t say thank you enough to their fabulous staff!

Ive visited twice (Once to look at bridal gowns and once to look at mother of the bride gowns) and I worked with Kate both times. She was SO NICE, gave sincere feedback and was a lot of fun. Highly recommend!

Great service and selection! The staff always went above and beyond to make sure my needs and dreams as a bride were met! The staff was very accommodating and friendly to our large group to find bridesmaid dresses. They had dresses pulled for us prior to arriving, it made the selection process very smooth! Kate is my go-to gal for anything wedding! She is so great at what she does. Everyone there is so pleasant to work with. I have bridesmaids of all shapes and sizes and it was easy to find a dress that all of them were comfortable in! I always love working with them!

Bought my dress here for my sisters wedding. The size they told me to order is very tight. I could have used one size up. All of our dresses were that way. And its too late to reorder now. Their no return policy is ridiculous, especially if it is their measuring error.

I’ve been to Cheryl Ann’s many times, and each time has been better than the last. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and beyond helpful. We’ve purchased first communion dresses, homecoming, prom, bridesmaid, and bridal couture, and highly recommend this store to anyone looking for any of the aforementioned needs.

Could not speak any higher about this place - the ladies were amazing! Super helpful and knowledgeable! They asked me what style I was looking for in a wedding dress and let me pick out some that I thought I might like. Based on that information, they picked one out and wanted me to try it on first. I fell in love with that dress as soon as I stepped into it!! I was a little nervous to look at the price tag because it was quite a bit fancier than anything I had tried on at other stores. We looked and to our surprise, it was one of the cheapest dresses I had tried on so far!! AND SO MUCH PRETTIER!! Sold. No questions asked.Two weeks later we went back to look at tuxes..Derek had a VERY rough idea of what he wanted so I figured we wouldnt be settling on anything that day (thought hed want to take some things home and decide from there). The lady that helped us picked up on our style and threw together a mannequin that was amazing. A few tweaks later and we had our tuxes picked out. Even better than that - they were way cheaper than I was expecting them to be also!! WIN WIN!Finally, I took my bridesmaids in to pick out dresses. I figured it would be a long day of trying on only to go home with no decisions made (silly, considering how smoothly everything else went!). We literally were in and out of there within an hour - maybe an hour and a half - with dresses picked out and the girls that were with me measured and cashed out! And again - dresses were wayy cheaper than I was hoping for!This place is absolutely amazing. I could not be happier with the ease of everything. They know what theyre doing and they are priced just right!! I would recommend them a million times over!!

I had a wonderful experience choosing my wedding dress here. All the staff were wonderful to work with. They knew their dress selection very well, listened to me, and were able to make suggestions that helped me find my perfect dress.

The gowns here are of the highest quality, as well as the customer service. I was particularly impressed with the price range of gowns and the variety of selection. 10/10 would recommend.

Went in to look for bridesmaid dresses for my wedding. Kate was very helpful and worked with us until we were satisfied. I ended up changing designers which changed my colors slightly but in the end Im very pleased.

So many choices to choose from in Bridal, kids, wedding guest, you are able to buy off the rack or order. Love this place for last min dresses too, always super helpful and get you in and out

My experience started out positively; I was able to easily make a Saturday appointment at Cheryl Ann after falling in love with a dress they displayed at a recent bridal show.However, I left my first wedding dress shopping appointment entirely deflated. When I asked to try on the dress from the bridal show that was a few weeks prior, no one had any clue as to what dresses were taken to the show. Very few dresses were on mannequins in the store, but instead in the employee-only back room.I didnt think that being unable to shop the racks would be an issue, however the sales associate and I could not connect on my vision by any means - which lead to her pulling dresses that were her favorites and the complete opposite of what Id asked for.Many of the dresses I tried in the store were a size 8 and because wedding dresses run small, I couldnt even attempt to get them on.After sensing my frustration, instead of getting help from or handing me off to another available associate, it was suggested that I just come back in several months, after theyd gone shopping and received next seasons dresses.I would not recommend making this store your first stop unless you are entirely certain of what style dress you want/look good in. Paging through my Pinterest boards with the associate didnt help one bit - go in with specific dresses in mind from designers that they carry.I would also recommend dialing back your stated budget a bit. My budget was by no means unrealistic, but nearly every dress pulled was at the top of or over budget.

I have had multiple experiences with Cheryl Anns, starting with a prom dress in 2008 and wedding gowns in 2012 and 2016. My daughters love their selection, their customer service is unparalleled, and they are budget friendly. Ask for Jenna!

I had come into Cheryl Ann looking for a convalidation dress, as I had already been married by Justice of the Peace but was looking to have my marriage recognized in the Catholic Church. I explained my situation, and had a very non-judgemental open-minded staff helping me. I was trying to be very particular about my dress, and they reassured me that I could try on anything that I wanted and to keep an open mind. I end up finding a dress very reasonably priced, as I see many brides spend $1,000+ and I spent less than that. They referred me to their top sewing places to have it be altered towards my body. Not only their referral came through on time but she altered my dress to fit my body perfectly. And she did it in a weeks time. They also worked with my husband as I had to reschedule My convalidation twice due to his work schedule and both times they were readily available to order his tux. I was trying very hard to be realistic about my dress and all the materialistic things that go with a wedding but the staff reassured me that it was my day and I could have it anyway I wanted. I hope someday again Ill need their services.
