This place gave me 3 different price quotes on my frames and really couldn’t get there act together and when that 3rd quote was given I nearly lost my mind and my cool! But just as I was about to loose it they fixed the issue and had my glasses done in 12 minutes! 12 minutes guys that’s fast and that’s why I’m giving em a 5 stars

First time here.Pros:Good selection of frames at reasonable prices.(I have spent a similar amount for 1 pair of comparable glasses elsewhere vs 2 pairs for myself and 1 for my husband)2 of 3 glasses were made faster than expected.Cons:Initial quote was about 30% lower than actual price with tax.Only one frame available in store for one style so 3rd pair not available (Quoted 7 to 10 day wait)

It was perfect. I was frantic after losing my glasses.When I went to Vision for Less the place was so full of people, I thought I didnt have a chance.As soon as I spoke to the employees they just took over. I picked out some new frames....went outside to my car and in 18 minutes the first pair was ready!!I actually had ordered an extra pair because I was nervous I would lose the first pair. In approximately the same amount of time the second pair was ready!The employees were very pleasant and I was on my way.I needed trifocals so I know making the lenses had to be a little more work. This was the first time I was in the store. I read the other reviews and decided to check the store out. I have a prescription from my doctor and needed my glasses right away. The store was very busy and I could see only one salesperson working. I went to the desk and she rudely tells me that it’s a 45 minute wait to be waited on. That was ok-I went to check out the frames. After finding my frames and an empty seat, I waited for my turn. 1.5 hours later, another employee shows up and starts helping people who have been waiting. After waiting awhile longer, I decided to shop around and look elsewhere. I can’t justify waiting almost 2 hours to be waited on.

This was my daughter’s (age, 9) expiration with glasses. The staff at our location was outstanding with making her feel so special. They took the time to make sure she got what she wanted and also took the time to adjust them to fit her well. There’s no hassle at bringing them in to have them adjusted. Highly recommend!

Prices are decent, the selection is lacking, and the quality is definitely not there which is sad last pair from here lasted me 4 years. I got 4 pairs (2 glasses and 2 sunglasses) and upon receiving one pair of sunglasses one screw was 3 tines the length and sticking out BENT asked them abiht it they said they just didnt cut the screw down and it was fine also frame on same pair was twisted well they sent me on my way without fixing it, fast-forward a week after purchasing all my frames while on a trip in Florida the one pair of sunglasses had a screw fall out while I was driving down the road luckily it was on a back road but still not good, get home and a nose piece falls off of my glasses while walking through kitchen at this point im furious.will never go back to this store once warranty expires Ill go somewhere that takes better care of assembly.

Go ahead and buy bifocals from Vision4Less if you want to be miserable every day of your life until you can afford to buy another pair of glasses. They did not honor their verbal warranty and sold me a bad pair of expensive lenses, which they would not replace. My only option was to buy another pair. Note that they send out complicated prescriptions instead of making them in house. They expect payment in advance and do not make good on their verbal warranty. Extremely disappointed. Poor customer service and unethical business practices. For a simple single vision lens, you may be okay, but for any complicated prescription, save your money and go elsewhere.

First time ever having to get glasses and it was for my four year son. The customer service was awesome. My son picked out the glasses he wanted and they were ready by the next morning as we didnt go in till almost closing time. They were done way before I thought they would be. Im so glad we went here and not somewhere else.

Even with how busy it was yesterday when I went amazing service by their manager Sierra she busted her butt and did an amazing job and their lab tech got my glasses done (4 pair ) at that in 29 minutes! Fabulous place I will be coming here all the time for glasses

I came here for the first time to get my 5 year old son his glasses, and it was a fine encounter. He picked out some glasses and sure enough just right before closing time it was good and ready to go!

This was my 1st time going there, they were busy, and you have time to pick out frames you are thinking of buying, its a first come first served basis, by the time I had made my choices it was short time waiting to be next. The gal that helped me finally decide was very honest and helpful. She told me they would be done by Friday. I was there on Monday and they sent me a text saying my glasses were ready on Wednesday. I picked them up on Thursday and I love both pairs. They sanitize the frames, before putting them back on the display racks and they sanitize each station and chairs, before the next person is waited on. Very safe and very courteous staff, I would highly recommend them!

They desperately need more employees. Went in to get glasses adjusted. Waited 1.5 hours. Totally unacceptable 😑. Need to categorize if only needs adjustment!!!!

I stopped in a couple of days ago to pickup contacts but the Dr. was on vacation. I then paid for the contacts over the phone the next day so they could be picked up at V4L. I stopped in today, walked up to the young lady at the register/counter, she acknowledged me saying hello. I started to ask if I could pick up my husbands contacts, but she cut me off and told me she would be with me in a few moments as she turned her eyes to a customer sitting that she was working with. The other young lady working was cleaning several pairs of glasses for a couple sitting at the counter. After standing there waiting for probably 4-5 minutes, watching the girl cleaning glasses answer the phone twice, and seeing no end in sight. I asked her (the girl cleaning the glasses) if she could just grab my husbands contacts. Having stopped in a few days ago, I knew the contacts would be in a bag inside a drawer within arms reach of the register. She kindly did that and I was on my way. It would be nice when you’re greeted to be asked if your there to get glasses, look around or for a pickup. They can then inform you of a general timeframe of when you’ll be waited on. Had the first girl not cut me off, or at least let me tell her why I was there, she could have reached behind her grabbed the contacts and I would have been in and out and not writing this poor review. I just feel that employees can do better gauging their customers with a couple of simple questions when thy walk in. Thanks!

Great overall selection of frames and good deals, and for a person on a budget having frames at the $19 range was great and they looked just as good as any other options. There’s also nothing better then needing glasses and being able to get them the same day in just hours or less depending on the amount of customers in the store. 😊👍

Excellent service! We were waited on right away and at check out they said they would be ready in 2 hours. I received a text only 21 minutes later that they were ready for fitting. I was very happy with my experience. I was allowed to look at frames by myself and was no pressure towards more expensive glasses. I didn’t have anybody helping with my choice so the associate had me try on several frames and gave meFeedback on them. He must have a good eye bc at work I got a lot of compliments!

I would not even leave one star! My husband order glasses from this place almost 3 months ago! They were suppose to ship them to us. When he placed the order he filled out a form giving them our address, he also gave them his driver license. They shipped his glasses to the wrong address, we called and spoke with someone from the corporate office who said they would make another pair and that we would have them in 2 weeks. We verified the address with that person, still no glasses. Then they called us asking for our address and told us that the 2nd pair was sent to the wrong address again, and as soon as they got them back they would resend to the correct address, 2 weeks later still no glasses. I called them today and they still have the wrong address in their system! They have our money, we have no glasses! We can’t go to the store to pick them up cuz it closed due to the virus! She promised me that they would overnight to us this time, we shall see, I will be calling again tomorrow and everyday after that till we get them! Needless to say we are not happy!

I had a great experience at Vision4Less today. I had no idea what style of glasses I wanted. I was overwhelmed with so many to choose from and worried it would take me all day to decide. Then I met Brooke. She is very energetic and friendly, but also very talented. She knew right away what would look best on me. I only tried on three pairs of glasses and we both knew right away which was the best look for me. I even saved money by getting a second pair. To my surprise, it only took a few minutes and I was off enjoying the rest of my day. I received a text message within an hour that they were ready for pickup. My friends and family say I look great and were so impressed I went from exam to new glasses within a couple of hours.

Everyone we encountered was polite, helpful, and super friendly. We had some difficulties with my prescription and the frames I had picked but those I met and those behind the scenes went above and beyond to make sure our visit was satisfactory. Thank you so much. We will definitely be going there for our next glasses needs.

Vision4Less Dubuque Iowa was amazing. Monday March 2 2020. The wait time was not long at all! The associate (Sierra G) that helped us was great working with us. Helped us pick out glasses for my 5 year old and was able to answer any questions we had. His glaases (2 pair) was ready in under an hour!

Perfect! We had an excellent experience yesterday and Keith went above and beyond! He was super friendly and never once rushed us or was pushy. When I came back in for my glasses he helped fit me and was super! I’ll definitely be back with great employees like that! First of all Dr Smith is awesome! She’s so understanding and easy to talk to!! They match contact prices which for me was so convenient. Then we went next door to the glasses shop and they went above and beyond to get us our glasses the same day, even staying open a few extra minutes. I can’t recommend these two places enough! Reasonable price. I ordered my glasses (because my dog ate mine....not kidding) knowing I had an eye exam scheduled before the new glasses would be in. Anna helped me out. Anna assured me if my prescription changed they would update the lenses for free. The prescription did change, and Vision4Less was true to their word,and updated the lenses for free.

Went in visions 4 less to get my eye examination, the women at the front desk were wonderful and Courtney explained to me to make sure I knew what was going on. told me details about my eyes and the process was painless, then when I was done on that side the ladies and gentleman by the glasses were very helpful and they helped me in choosing 2 pairs of glasses that fit perfect and look great!

I went there because thats where I got my last pair of glasses. The wait wasnt too long which was nice so i can get what i need done and leave. I had no clue what kind of glasses i wanted but this lady Anna, i think her name was, was so helpful she listened to my input and helped me pick out glasses that looked good with my eye shape and also considered my price range. It took only 2 hours maybe less for my glasses to be done and when I came back, she fitted them for me and listened to my concerns on fitting and made sure they looked right. I can see clearly now and I would definitely recommend this place!

I got the 5min. $55.00 eye exam and told her I could see better with my 7yr. old glasses. Now that I wasted $215.00 on glasses. I can justify my words. Cant read anything that is 7ft. away from me. I put the old glasses on and I can read just fine. Also side note; why does the eye machines not have clean pads on the stuff. Its not even wiped in between customers.

Anna was patient, thorough, polite and friendly and having an in-house Lab assured me of a right frame for my thick lenses and sped up the completion process. She recommended Hi-index progressive lenses and Hi-index Upgrade with non glare and scratch resistant, 1 yr warranty and gave me the best price I found, with vision insurance covering a small portion. I picked up my glasses with a little tweaking of the frame and love the look and received a free hard cover case. I purchased a bottle of spray cleaner, which is refillable for life for free, with a cloth. So pleased with Vision 4 Less, right off Hiway 20 near the Hampton Inn in Dubuque, IA.Marlene T

I came in at closing time due to my own schedule with glasses so scratched I could hardly see! Great price. I was able to get two frames and regular and sunglass lenses for 1/4 the price another place wanted. Was offered a nice Veterans discount as well. Due to my own fault, I broke my sunglass frame and also scratched my lenses, but they were all covered under their policy. No questions asked. Replacements were same day.

I have went to our local eyewear retailer for the past 18 years. My sister suggested trying Vision4Less. The prices, service & quality will now direct me back to Vision4Less for the next 18 years!

Prices are great. But one lady I delt with was rude. I went in for a adjustment and the lady broke my glasses. She pulled the frame away from the metal... she informed me that they have people sign a form and she says they arent responsible for breaking the glasses in anyway when adjusting. So make sure the one doing the adjustment knows what they are doing. Otherwise no problems.

Mr. Dominguez was able to let me in after hours to pick up a pair I ordered last week. I really appreciated him going above and beyond, and the prices on frames and lenses are the best in town.

Ordered 2 pair of glasses had overnighted. An week later still werent there talked to Manger Bart. He made phone call to see where they were to find out they were in the store. Corp. Ive always had great service on the Doctor side of the business, but I had an extremely unpleasant experience in the glasses side a couple days ago. An older lady who worked there on the glasses side was extremely rude to a couple of customers in front of me and kept muttering under her breath about them. She always was extremely short and rude to me and my husband and treated us like we were idiots and brushed us aside. I NEVER leave negative reviews but this one was a must :(

We were handed a receipt that said in writing that we had a guarantee pick up time of 3:30 PM for my his ($313) sunglasses.At 2:45 We called the store because we live 45 minutes out of town. They told us 30 to 45 minutes at the most. At 3:45 my husband had been waiting in the store for 31 minutes and after being his glasses he asked about the “promised time” and was told there really is no such thing and nonsense be has really ever asked about it. We know that’s not the truth. We will not be taking our business back there (for anyone in our fanily) ever again.We didn’t mind spending three hours waiting for them. We just expect them to be ready after three hours when every sign on their window is one hour service.

I went in on a whim to kill some time. I was greeted and helped immediatley. I told them I was just looking around and they were non pushy and still helpful. I said that I wanted new glasses and informed me of their prices. After a short discussion I decided to just go ahead and they were able to fit me in for an exam that day. Im a guard member and they gave me a %10 discount on everything. My blue cross blue shield insurance wasnt excepted their and my only other choice is Wal-Mart and I refuse to go there. All together the price was more than reasonable for two pairs of glasses and 3 months of contacts. The glasses are anti glare and scratch resistant.

Looking for reasonable glasses quickly because I broke the only pair Ive had for 4 years in half at 6pm on a Friday night. Was referred to Vision 4 less and they said they would stay after hours and help me. My vision request was apparently simple so they were able to help me out with a simple replacement and get two pair done in about 30-40 min. Karen the sales rep and tony the eyeglass technician/lens maker went above and beyond to help me at the end of what could have a long day and a long week for them.additional info:I had 2 pair of frames and couple decide, I was leaning one way but asked staff Karen for her opinion. She choose the same pair I was leaning towards because the taste of my ride and I never match. And when she informed me that it would only be $60 for a second pair, I couldnt pass that up. To make it simple since they were closing soon, I said just do two in the same frame. She wrote up ppwk and got the first pair started. And then said for the second pair why dont you try something fun. She heard my ride say I liked purple and brought out a purple pair. It was cool color but as soon as she saw me try them on she started searching for a darker color, as I was mulling over if I liked them. She picked a new square style popular today but i could never find one I liked. It was dark purple and I tried them on and loved them. My ride didnt like them, but I did and so did Karen. She was very skilled at choosing a complimentary style for my face. And was in the same price category as the first pair I got. Very rare for a typical sales person. She was calm kind and respectful a soft sell as they call it.
