Called to make a purchase of a new Ski Doo snow machine and after speaking with 2 people about an AVAILABLE unit that I was interested in and agreed on a price, I was called back a second time and was told they did not want to sell me the machine because I was not a LOCAL customer and would not be bringing the machine to their service department. This was an OVER FULL RETAIL purchase price of the machine that was reversed. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!! Better customer service is out there!!

We put a down payment on a can am four wheeler the end of March beginning or April and were told that it would be here in May. May came and went, barely hearing anything from our salesman, only when we emailed/called. We were told again that it would be here the second week of June. They sold the wheeler to us and another person, the other person being the first to put a down payment on it got it. Up until 1 day ago we were being told that it was our, only to find out when we called that it wouldn’t be ours. Terrible customer service. We will not be returning.

A great buying experience. Recently moved to the area, about 45 minutes from the store and purchased a JD lawn tractor. Closing date for the house keep being pushed back and they had no problem with storing until I was able to move in and had the space. Since it was late fall at this point they even offered to put the blower on for no charge. Purchased two ATVs early spring and again the process was awesome. Only issue was with Polaris and the amount of time it took to get the ATVs to the store. Once they were in they were ready to be delivered the next day. Had one issue with one of the ATVs, called the next business day and they were out to the house by noon to fix the issue. Price for ATVs in general are ridiculously over priced but they were less than the Polaris website and other dealers. Best part of the buying experience was able to walk into the store and people were there to help, unlike a car dealer that sells ATVs 3 miles from my house were I would walk in and no one ever came up to me. In the modern day of Covid where customer service has gone down the crapper it is good to see a store still trying to make the customer happy. I hope if I need service on a vehicle the service department is as great as sales.

Went here to buy blades for my mower, didnt have them in stock so had to order. After two weeks they finally came in, picked them up and went to install and they were the wrong ones. After somewhat of a contentious dispute around the return process I got the right blades. Thus, the OK experience rating.

I brought my ATV in for service on a Saturday. No service people were working so a guy behind the counter filled out the work order. Since it was busy I made sure to call and talk to service the first thing the following Monday. The service person could not find a work order so he created another and said to check back in a couple weeks. 2 weeks go by and I call to check on my ATV. Service person can’t find my work order and says he has to do some checking and call me back. I wait 4 days and no call. I call back today and have to start the whole process over again. New work order, the boot from the carburetor to the air filter will have to be ordered and that will take until next week? Really? I have a stuck needle valve and need an oil change and spark plug. All I can say is wow, horrible service.

Went in to buy a belt for my 2016 rzr they had the belt but at a serious cost increase from the Polaris website they quickly rushed me out the door I need brakes and a wheel bearing for my rzr too didn’t get to ask about how much that device would cost but I can imagine from them it won’t be cheap or done quickly

I brought my 4 wheeler that I purchased from Duluth Lawn and Sport in for service on a couple issues, to fix a flat tire (specifically to put a tube in) and address a problem where the engine would die if I turned the steering hard to the left. Initially the service representative was extremely rude telling me that 4 wheeler engines dont just cut out when turning until I was able to reproduce the issue in the parking lot. Then he proceeded to tell me that having lanyards on the key ring will cause that behavior. I told him the lanyard I put on it was only for bringing it down to be serviced and that normally I dont have anything attached to the key. I removed the lanyard and again was able to reproduce the engine cutting out with a hard left turn. He finally stopped arguing with me and said they would look into it. I told him in talking with a Polaris rep, there was a known issue with the wiring harness causing a short and they should look there. He laughed and told me to let him do the diagnosis. Upon receiving a call to pick up my 4 wheeler 2 weeks later, they informed me that the issue with the engine cutting out on a hard left turn should be fixed, and that my tire had mud and grass on the bead which was causing the leak. They did not put a tube in like I asked, and 2 weeks later the tire was again flat and I had to bring it in to a reputable tire shop that put a tube in to fix it. There was a small slash on the inside of the tire near the sidewall that wasnt able to be patched so a tube or a new tire was the only solution. As well, my 4 wheeler continues to have the engine cut out on hard left turns, albeit slightly less frequently than before. Duluth Lawn and Sport charged me nearly 200$ to do absolutely nothing; essentially crooks that took my money without addressing a single issue that I brought my 4 wheeler in for. I will never do business with them again, and will tell anyone I talk to, to never do business with them. I STRONGLY recommend finding a different dealership to work with.

I will not go back to Duluth Lawn and Sport since my husband and I went in together and bought a new lawn tractor and mower. When we were doing the paperwork the guy only talked to my husband, acted like I didnt exist, and put the paperwork in my husbands name only, shook hands with him, and we left. I will not let them treat me like a nobody again. I have no complaint about their products or service otherwise, but that macho guy will have to be macho by himself as far as I am concerned.

I called to inquire on a service for my Polaris Ranger and also to have a recall item addressed, and the first question that was asked is if I purchased the machine there ? I told them no, and then I was informed that they only do warranty or recall items for items purchased there. What kind of dealership does this ? I contacted Polaris and was told that dealerships cannot refuse to warranty or do recall work. That being said, if you need to spend your money, you might want to choose elsewhere.

I simply cant give any more stars because of the gouging on the price. If you look up your part or parts print an invoice, even if its from there web site, and take it with you. They will (or have) honored that price other wise they add about 15-30% . Effin crooks. today I bought 3 seals the price from a John Deere site was $2.61 they charged me $4.18 you do the math. I didnt challenge them because of the small order. BUT Buyer Beware if you have a large order get the correct price (from their own website no less) this goes for all brands they service, John Deere, Polaris, ski Doo EVERYTHING ! !

First and last time dealing with this place! I took my Skidoo here for warranty work and had them replace the spark plugs. They charged me $75 to change the plugs when they already had all panels off for the warranty work and could easily accessed them. I don’t mind paying for service but don’t try to rip me off! Last time I’ll ever set foot in this Stealership!

I went to look at and purchase a Stihl blower/sprayer at Duluth Lawn. I wasnt sure if I wanted the SR200 or SR450. It wasnt a great experience.The associate, who seemed like a member of management, first approached me like I was going to steal the blower (snuck up behind me and tried to catch me trying it on) then proceeded to act like I was wasting his time and not a serious buyer. I took my business to Tractor Central and had a great experience.

Pete takes good care of me here, I own a local lawn service and when ever I need a part or need equipment serviced, he does his best to get me back on the road as fast as possible. Some of his employees are on the bad sides of things, but thats employees, I know that finding great employees is hard. The owner of this business is Gold and he treats me like Gold. He has my business for life.

Staff were super helpful with my needs, instead of trying to upsell me found a solution to fix the issue I was having without breaking the bank.

Horrible customer service. Rude and lazy. Refused to look up a comparable part. Just kept saying “our system doesn’t support it”. I’m guessing because of the year. But you can get comparable parts in a newer year. I guess I’ll go elsewhere. And will never be back.

Just recently purchased a new wheeler and the service was top notch. From the time I walked in and was greeted to how they helped me load everything in my truck. Look for a new mower soon and will be back for sure.

I have purchased multiple UTVs from Duluth Lawn and Sport. Every time they have treated me great. I deal with Pete and Dave primarily and they are not only helpful but have given me good deals on the accessories that I buy.I have purchased accessories that I ended up not liking and they happily took them back with no restocking fee.One of my UTVs had a defect and they made sure to fix it and do so in a timely manner.I appreciate that their sales people dont hound you the whole time you are in the store, sometimes I just want to look. . When I want something, I walk directly to a sales person let them know what Im looking for and get their help.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. And they dont care, because they are the only dealer in town. You could literally be sitting on a sled you are ready to purchase, and they act like they cant even see you. Theyre too busy sitting alone at the counter playing with their phones. I guess they hire whoever they can get. Ill go to Twin Harbors or down to the dealers in the Cities for better service. Otherwise, buy online!

They are the WORST neighbors! Being in a residential area, you can imagine that it gets a little noisy at times, what with all of their equipment and moving stuff around. But they NEVER consider the homes and families that live around them, as they drive their vehicles up and down the alley, in their lot, or in the neighborhood. This whole week, they have been SO noisy - after hours - as theyre having a good year with the snow and probably putting in overtime. I dont begrudge them the business, but there are ACTUAL PEOPLE LIVING NEAR YOU, DLS!!! Please try to remember us as you noisily go about your business :(

A freind purchased a used bike, advertised as a 2009. During the proccess, she discovered it to be a 2006! Jerk face salesman Dave, seemed annoyed with us, even bashed his wife.. I never listen to her .Someone eventually made sure we had a full tank of gas before we left ( not Jerk Face).This was a celebratory purchase for getting done with school and working in her field ! Wouldnt they want her to come back when its time for an upgrade?? Victory people take notice, I will suggest she visit the Harley Dealership instead!

Fun store food service

Brought our wheeler in,for some chugging, was told it was gonna be 2100 dollars to fix. Removed front axel and drive shaft and turned it into a two wheel drive. Upon our request,after telling us that the cheaper fix. Then go to pick it up and they changed brakes,$110,without asking us. Needless to say it was $500. Go to ride wheeler this weekend. It went great about 6 miles. Then sat for a bit,and then went to go for another ride,and gosh......same f-ing problem again.OMG. WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. NOW I HAVE A LOAN ON WHEELER,THAT STILL HAS TO BE FIXED AGAIN!!!! WHOS PAYING FOR THAT?

I purchased a BRP Sea Doo in 2015 from Duluth Lawn which turned out to have a major assembly defect - contrary to some of the other comments here, my experience with the service department was great - they identified the problem and convinced manufacturer that despite being out of warranty, the repairs should be covered - very happy with sales experience in the purchase of the product and subsequent work by the service department.

Rude parts man, shorted me on a crucial 10 cent part and would not make up for it. If you must visit count your nuts and bolts before you go and before you leave.

Never have any parts in stock. All they ever say is I can order it to which I respond, so can I, and for less money! the reason im calling your stealership is because i need it now and i would pay extra to have it today. if i have to wait 4 days ill save myself the extra mark-up and order online! Love how this place also keeps you waiting forever while they have story-time with the customer in line ahead of you. They also keep you on hold forever because they know they are the only polaris parts game around. No sense of urgency when there are tons of people waiting to get ripped off.
