Bill runs an excellent shop. Hes is always upfront with his quotes and I have never ever had any problem with him or the work his shop performs whatsoever. I would suggest anyone that has a Honda use his shop. Quality work!!!!

I’ve been bringing my Honda and Acura here for over 10 years. Bill is fantastic, as is his crew. I’ve always sworn by them. But I’ve had my latest car in with them several times to figure out a squeaking issue, and they worked on the car several times, doing basic routine maintenance, with no resolution. I’ve since taken it elsewhere. Although I trust Hond A Techs with my car, they’ve grown and have a huge workload of vehicles lately. I think they’re just too busy to figure out odd problems with vehicles and resolve them. For routine maintenance, I wouldn’t go anywhere else but here. However if anything else is wrong with your car, it would be a waste of time and money. Search for someone less busy.

Bill and his crew are knowledgeable and very helpful in diagnosing issues. I have a pretty old car and he has helped me keep it on the road. Highly recommend if you have a Honda/Acura that you need work on and don’t have any idea where to go.

Bill is awesome. Knows exactly what is wrong with my Acura MDX. Went for timing belt earlier this year and was not disappointed. Yesterday my alternator failed and bill fixed it for a very good price. For Hondas and Acuras this place cant be beat.

I sense that Im jumping on the pile of the many 5-STAR reviews they have earned in Google, Yelp, etc. In the first visit Bill went over my aging CR-V and put a restoration plan together, identifying priority repairs, using OEM parts and a fitting budget. We are nearly finished with the punch list and the CR-V is already a different car now. Bottom Line -- Honda and Acura owners have a destination repair shop in Duluth. 5-Stars, no question.

I basically needed my transmission oil and engine oil change done i showed up within about 25 mins or so they had my car done and were fair and upfront and unlike other places didnt go on to scare you about your car. They did what was asked and a very fair price and saved me close to $100 from any other estimate done.

Bill is an honest guy. He saved me $150 while others were asking me to replace brakes on my Honda pilot. Thank you Bill!

Do not trust the “good” reviews. Horrible customer service. I never leave reviews, but this experience definitely calls for one! Friday I dropped my car off in the morning and Bill the owner told me my car would be ready around 3. I Ubered back home and waited all day. Not once did anyone call me to tell my my car was ready. So close to 5pm I decide to call and ask if it’s ready. The person I spoke with on the phone said yes and based off the tone of voice I can tell it had BEEN ready for pick up (they knew I was in route) So I arrive 5:20 ish. The shop is completely closed although everywhere online AND EVEN THE SHOP DOOR SAYS 6PM. AND the shop is closed on the weekend and opens Monday. Because of my work schedule I wouldn’t even be able to pick it up until Thursday. I call the number online and on the shop window at least 5 times with no answer. I find the owner Bill on Facebook and comment on his post . I finally get a call back approximately an hour later. Not only did he not offer an apology for the huge inconvenience he goes on to explain he’s at lake Lanier and asked if I can come pick up my car in the morning. His tone on the phone was very nonchalant and did not care. I had to explain to him that I need my car to work the following morning ONLY then did he offer to meet at 8:30pm. When I went to pick up my car he was not there he sent one of his workers that did not care or show remorse either. A shame I would not recommend to my worst enemy . Let’s hope that my car is actually fixed. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a repair shop. If I could rate 0 I would.

Jairo here. I own a 2011 Honda CR-Z Hybrid (6-speed Manual Transmission). It is a very uncommon car and specialized at that because of its design. I was worried that I would not be able to find a shop near by. My brother-in-law recommended Hondatech for the repair since his vehicle went down (my sister and him own a 2011 Honda Crosstour).I decided to swing by and have it looked at immediately because car issues are no joke and they can legitimately become a can of warms...to which it was. Originally I came in with a clutch replacement service because that is what I thought it originally was,but turned out the flywheel was damaged and transmission shot.They were able to immediately source out the parts needed for my vehicle. Though it was not within the expected ETA (bear in mind they did what they could and we can only do so much)...I still received my vehicle in a timely fashion.Hats off to Bills team, a special thank you to Alan (he broke my vehicle down and built it back up like Legos; not an easy feat) and mostly important Hondatech as a whole for being so close by and existing.P.S. I will keep bring my vehicle(s) to this shop.

Hard working and goes above and beyond. I was surprised by how much they kept me in the loop on what was going on with my car while it was at the shop. Everything was explained in full and broken down to me, and the prices were average, not too extreme. They did their best to get me in and out, as services were done same day.My only reason for 3 stars is that the issue I had was not repaired. Its a weird situation that I tried to explain and was told I was wrong about, that eventually I had to go to the dealer to fix and discovered I was right.Working in customer service, I understand the customer is usually wrong, but I still listen and try to understand what their concern is. I didnt feel like I was heard and was just given a generic fix to my problem, and was told that tests were done to confirm it and was given such optimism that I went with it. I did come back to get looked at again since the problem persisted after the fix and was sold another quick fix.Spent nearly $2k between here and the dealer, so Im a bit salty but I would still recommend for someone else with basic car problems. If its anything weird or extreme, I couldnt tell you.

Let me start by saying I’m extremely picky about our cars. Not to mention I rarely find service that lives up to my high expectations. Hond-A-Tech does just that. They’re honest, think we can all agree that’s almost impossible to find in automotive repair anymore. They do what they say they’ll do and let their work speak for itself. Recently had our CRV and Civic in to some basic maintenance. Service was done quickly and at a fair price. Hopefully I won’t need them again anytime soon, but if and when I do, they’ve earned my loyalty.

The guys here know what theyre doing, have fair prices, honest diagnostics and are pleasant to talk to. What more could you ask for? I entrust our family vehicle, a Honda Odyssey with Honda-A-Tech from now on.

This is a great shop. Very easy to work with, honest and friendly. I have been using them for quite a while and where they really shine is in standing behind their work. Bill installed two catalytic converters on my 05 Honda pilot last year, they began to have problems and he just replaced them at no charge! I would recommend these guys to anyone.

I have been going to see Bill with my Honda for a while now but decided today to give him a review due to amazing and fast job he did. Just when I bought my new car a few years back the dealer listed all the parts and repairs that needed to be done. My gut feeling told me that this was not accurate so I searched for another opinion. I stumbled across Bill and Honda-Tech and gave it a shot. I was right with my assumption.Today, i was going for a very last minute oil change and while In was there he reminded me of the break pads that needed to be done. It was no problem to get them done right away as well. While trying to change them he also detected defect caliper. But instead of just telling me, he walked me out in the shop, showed me the break pads and the caliper and how it is not working correctly anymore. He was able to get the part within 5 minutes and I got an oil change, 4x break pads and 1x caliper changed within about 1 hour.If you can repair stuff yourself do/try it but if you need an expert, he is the right guy. It can get pricey though.

I love this place! I am entirely capable of working on my own car, but their super reasonable rates and the fact that they use OEM Honda/Acura parts makes me second guess doing the work myself. A lot of the time they can get it done the same day. Definitely recommend the hardworking guys here. Anyone who is upset about their experience here just doesnt understand cars.

Bill and his team did a fantastic job on my 2010 CR-V, which was not an easy fix. My AC went out and needed several new components replaced. I had never been here, but I could tell they were knowledgeable from the beginning. Bill kept me updated throughout the process. I called the dealership and realized I was saving a significant amount and still getting great service here. Will definitely be back!

Okay shop is small I think he might be good I did not get services with him because every time I walked in he would either send me to another place or told me to come back later its more of a one-man show so just be prepared to be sent away to return tomorrow or to be sent somewhere else if the work cannot be done

They will show you each problem in person on the car lift and they dont make anything up.They helped me out a lot when I made a stupid assumption about pricing (I wont mention what they did because I dont want anyone to try to take advantage of their generosity), so they really went the extra mile!

How many times have you gone to a dealership or repair shop to have your car worked on and the “Master Machanic” suggests everything that is wrong with your car, except what you came in for. That is not the case at Honda Tech. Bill and his staff are very knowledgeable.They diagnosed the problem and tell you what it will take to fix it. AND guess what, it is done right the first time, without any excuses on why something went wrong.In my last visit, I had a very costly repair that was covered by the dealer. Bill told me what I had to do to get it repaired by the dealer. I was not charged for his services to diagnose the problem. WHAT Customer Service, have a dealership do that for you. Ha – Ha

Bill was great to work with and didnt try to pressure me into doing a bunch of work that I didnt need to have done like they normally do when I take my vehicle to the dealer. He fixed a few problems on the car that I had at a fair price and got the work done quickly. This is the only place that Ill be bringing my MDX to from now on and have already recommended him to family members who have Acuras to bring their cars here.

I had to have major work done on my Odyssey. These guys did the work for 1/2 what the dealership wanted, plus they power washed the engine compartment (dont expect a dealer to do that!). They also had the car ready as promised. I have 2 Honda products and I wil now use these guys for all future work.

Those people are what you call Honest Family Mechanic I was looking for good Honda mechanics online for months and didnt really find any good one. last week I was searching came across Hond-A- Tech and read couple their reviews and decided to give them a call. I spoke to guy name Bill, he was booked for that day so he told me come by the next day. long story short when I got their on Thursday morning, I was very impressed with their excellent customer service and Bill showed to me everything need be fixed on my car and check all fluids and everything. plus, very affordable price. They are unlike any other mechanics out there who rip you off in broad day lights like Honda dealers, if you dont believe me try them and find out for yourself and you be the judge. I will highly recommend their services to anyone out their searching for car experts, oops I forgot to take their business card with me. I wish I knew them since I moved to GA, the good news is now they will be my mechanic from now to years to come.- :)

Just had our 100K service done on my wifes 2012 Pilot. After deciding not to give the dealer $1600 for their service and calling around to other Japanese specialty shops (with estimates ranging between $1500 and $1900), we landed on Hond-A-Tech in Duluth. They got us out the door for just a little over a grand. I handed them an opportunity to charge another $350 by asking them to adjust the valves. They proceeded to convince me that a valve adjustment was not necessary. That sealed the deal for me. These guys kept us updated throughout the service and went over their work with my wife when she picked the car up. We could not be more pleased. I think we have finally found our independent shop for our 3 Hondas.

Bad experience today. Bill, manager or owner, knew nothing about the YouTube known problem of Acura MDX battery drainage due to blootooth not working. Instead he charged me $441.12 for an alternator replacement two weeks ago, which was not the source of the dead battery. I had to jump start the car again with so much trouble. No money back and no apology, simply repeatedly yelling at me saying, leave my shop, dont ever come back, and I dont want to see you in my life again. I think I have to take this case to a small claim court at Gwinett county.

Cant recommend this place enough. Only place me and my family trust to bring our cars. I bring my Acura TSX, brother brings his Acura TL, Dad brings my moms MDX. Very fast, friendly and honest service at a affordable price.
