Got great help and advice today on purchasing bindings and boots for some skis I bought at the ski swap. First time in the store. Impressive inventory and very helpful, knowledgeable staff.

Wow! That is an accurate description of how my wife and I felt about our recent experience at Ski Hut in Duluth. Carson was our customer service representative. An amazing man. Friendly, knowledgeable, skilled and outgoing. He literally stood outside in the cold drizzle to install a part on our bike rack. Need a bike? Go to Ski Hut. Need accessories? Go to Ski Hut. Need ... ? Well ... I think you get the picture.

Bought 3 bikes last summer. One wasn’t shifting and tried to have it fixed. Was told the part wouldn’t be in until April 2021 ( just don’t shift) we were told . Spring is here and we tried to get the bike in and we’re told 200 bikes ahead of us. Took the bike to Twin Ports Cycle and found out bike was put together wrong. They took care of us right away. I’ll never buy anything from ski hut again.

I was up in Duluth 5/12-13 to ride some of the mtb trails in the area. I ended up taking a spill on DM at Piedmont and stripped out my top cap bolt trying to readjust my headset. I stopped at the ski hut to get the bolt out and hopefully get back on the trails. They removed the bolt ASAP and had me back on the trails in 10 min! Great group of people and fun atmosphere! 5/5!

Ski Hut is always willing to help you out with skiing or biking needs

I needed a stem extension for my bike and after talking with Cory on the phone he suggested I stop in with my bike. (My regular bike shop was too busy to help me). When I stopped at Ski Hut Cory was assisting customers so Ross in Service talked with me. He had the part I needed and within a day he had the part installed and a tune up done on my bike. This is my new bike shop. Excellent service!

Helpful and kind staff, great experience

My first bike purchase other than Walmart bikes. Brent asked what kind of riding I do, showed me some options and set me up with the perfect bike. He showed me everything I need to know about my bike and is available anytime to help out. Excellent purchase!

Staff is friendly but incompetent. Ive taken my bike here 5 or 6 times now to get fixed and it hasnt stayed fixed for more than 2 weeks yet. Everytime I bring it in they make me pay $5-15 too. So frustrating. Ill be taking my bike to Centenial bike shop a few blocks away now, hopefully theyll be able to do a better job. I dont even care if I need to pay like $200 to fix my bike, I just want it to stay fixed- wont give a discount either after I explain they havent done their job once. Honestly shocked they have 5 stars cause seriously, not once has my bike stayed fixed after bringing it here, strongly recommend against them.

I was gifted a pair of pants from Ski Hut that unfortunately didnt quite fit. Their return process was simple and easy, and I was so happy to find a pair of pants that will be perfect for all my winter outdoor adventures.

Am not a fan of their customer service. Ive had a few bad experiences here. I think its that they dont value individuals as much as other shops in town because they have a lot of business. Hopefully they can improve the experience for customers in the future.

If I could give this place 10 stars out of 5, I would.My first time here, was over the summer for my mountain bike purchase. The staff was very knowledgeable, and was ready to help with whatever I needed, and got me fitted for a bike. Walked out of the store happy, and satisfied.The next time I went in was today (11/21/20) to purchase a new snowboard set. I would like to say thanks, and give a special shout-out to Cory for helping me through the entire process. From selecting the board, to the bindings, to the boots, and even socks, Cory had useful knowledge on all the products. Not only did he share information on the products, but he also shared experiences, and stories he’s had with them as well. Came in on no notice and worked with Cory, he was very helpful answering questions and helped us buy a mountain bike. An hour later it was setup and ready to go. He gave us great tips on what trails to explore and I had a blast with my son. Thank you Cory!

Great service and employees

I would give ten stars if I could. Because we live so far away from Duluth, I made the mistake of buying a ski package online (after online chatting with the sites ski experts). I brought my new cross country skis to the Ski Hut to have the bindings attached. The professional, knowledgeable and kind staff let me know that what I had purchased was in many ways unsuitable for me. So I made the decision to buy another complete XCountry ski package from them immediately. I will be returning the online skis and making the 2.5 hour trip to the Ski Hut whenever I need anything they sell. I highly recommend you do the same. Lesson learned.

Staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. I went in there looking for a rack for my car and Brent helped me find exactly what I need and even helped install a kayak rack that I bought elsewhere! I will definitely be back.

Skiing and biking, any questions you have the specialists at the Hut will take the time to inform and educate you. A leader in the services they provide.

We stopped to pick up a paddle for the kayak and ended up talking with a sales person about skiing equipment. Very knowledgeable and helpful! And the price for everything my husband will need is much lower than we expected.

Either Ski Hut is great. The downtown store is much heavier staffed so you may get much faster service (especially when it comes to servicing your bike). But they have great prices! Quality equipment is pricey though so dont let the sticker shock you. Ive compared online and to various stores EVERY time Ive bought equipment and every time Ski Hut has the best price for what I want. Plus its local and the service is great!

If you like good employees good customer service then go to ski hut on 4th street and ask Ross about anything he’s super nice guy and give you good part suggestions if I need anything else done on my trek I’d go there and ask for Ross super nice guy.

Outstanding. Sales folks are knowledgeable, helpful and make appropriate recommendations. Items sell out, and they do all they can to get more. Shop is top notch with outstanding service, communication, and turnaround time. Product selection is also excellent with a good variety of items for all skill levels and budgets. The folks at Ski Hut are good people and make visitors feel comfortable. I have been visiting them for the past 12 years and keep returning--highly recommended.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Walked in for the first time to get my bike checked out since my brakes were rubbing my tire and I was unable to fix it myself. They noticed it was actually more the bike’s rim being out of alignment. They got it all fixed it up for me, and it was so amazingly smooth to ride again. I hadn’t realized how badly or long it’d been so messed up. Thank you so much again!!!
