I needed a computer for my office I bought a dell xps it was hardly a working computer, I went to their truck support and they replaced it with a new one of the same model it didn’t work either then they agreed to replace with their own brand and this third one doesn’t even turn onI am tired of it now, although their staff is very helpful

Micro center has always been such an amazing place to visit, especially if you are looking for ANYTHING computer related or even office related.The staff is always so welcoming and extremely informative to any questions you might have or anything you might be confused about. The prices are very low comparative to most places! I always love visiting that store.

Good store with good inventory and employees. They have an amazing collection of computer parts, ranging from all different prices. Sadly, prices are getting higher in the computer industry but Micro Center continues to keep the price of their parts as low as they can. Came in to buy an SSD and RAM for my laptop and walked out with a good price. Hopefully once the chip shortage ends, prices will go down and Micro Center can continue to give out great deals

I enjoyed the shopping experience at Micro Center today. The place was well lit, superb staff members, exceptional products and most importantly, Covid-19 ready with mask requirements. I witnessed the workers, cleaning what seemed to be every five minutes, which definitely made feel beyond comfortable. I give Micro Center an A++ for a grade.

The selection of products were more than great. I have never been to another store that has more computer related supplies. However, maybe its because I went a few hours before closing, some of the staff seemed to be cold and whether take a long time to respond or just flat out leave me at the counter while they minded their own business.

Pc components galore! Was surprised to even see a small section for 3D printing! Associates were friendly and helpful.

Micro Center is a great place for tech geeks like me. They have a large selection from HDMI cables to GPUs. Their service is great, there’s staff everywhere and they even have a service where they build a computer for you. The staff there knows what they’re doing and give you the best service you could ever get. If I could, I’d take the chance of going there again

Today was my first time in micro center and all I have to say is WOW ! I came in for a 3D printer and immediately was helped by a young lady, I believe her name was Miranda . She was not only extremely helpful in giving me tips and tricks, but she was also incredibly gorgeous ( saw someone else left a review about her looks and I had to chime in, she wears boots so I think that’s who he was talking about ), had me laughing like crazy ( glad to know some people still have a sense of humor LOL ), and was extremely knowledgeable about the 3D printers and even had a solution for a problem I have been having with my PC too . She is exactly the personality type retail companies should strive to hire . She asked me to leave a survey but I can not seem to get that website to load on my phone . I will definitely be back to see her .

I went in this store looking for an extension cable/cord so I could finish the installation of the back up camera on my SUV. I wasnt there long before a very knowledgeable associate approached me to see if I needed any help. I did..and he knew what he was talking about. He took me right to the thing I needed. The guy happened to be a young Asian guy. I just say that because if you want help from someone that knew what he was doing, and also give you great customer service, hes your guy. Didnt get his name, unfortunately. Anyway, also to the ladies, this is where all the good men have been hiding. Lol Ijs. I was in and out of the store in less that 15 mins, and I must say, I learned something new. I just want to add that they carry CDRs at a great price in bulk. I used to buy them all the time for my business.

I can always count on this place to have any dongle I need in stock. No matter the connection you need to make they will always have the right dongle or cable you need. Word of advice dont ask an employee where the dongle aisle is, because nobody will know what youre talking about and your boss will make fun of you for the rest of the year for saying the word dongle in public with a straight face.

I went in to get some headphones because I keep on receiving a coupon by email ( I was going to buy other stuff and I bought a video card and motherboard here 4 years ago), but this older, fat white manager-looking guy kept on following me around. I was just confirming they were the correct headphones, and then I was going through other aisles and the dude kept on showing up everywhere I was. It felt like harassment. Better to order through NewEgg or others and just wait for it in the mail. The video card prices were borderline scalper prices, too.

Great place to get parts for your computer. Has everything to build your own which my son did .Also so you can dream of a massive monitor!

Salesman was very on point. Manager on duty made sure that we were satisfied. I inquired about a Military discount and they did not honor it. The one in Marietta does. Nonetheless, great shopping experience.

Luis the front end lead was so rude when handling our return. We’ve done multiple 2000$* builds here at this location, graphics cards, monitors and chairs and never had a problem. Employees like Lucas have been SO GOOD to us and walked us through so many things without any problems. I don’t know why he had to be so rude over exchanging a monitor. I said we had spoke to someone about return the monitor earlier because I didn’t have the box and he replied rudely “ well I’ve been here all day “ which was extremely uncalled for. I paid cash for the monitor and he didn’t even bother trying to handle it correctly and now I have to wait on it to go back to a card that’s been paid off. He also didn’t need to roll his eyes multiple times. If you don’t want to help people don’t be the front end lead if you can’t maintain your temper. I will not be returning anytime soon. I’ve spent way too much money to be treated like this here !!

Given the current state of the GPU market, I went ahead and decided to buy a pre-built with a 3000 series in it. I went with Power-spec, micro centers own built PC brand. Cindy was super helpful and wasnt pushy at all. Actually talked me down to a 3070 instead of a 3080 which is what I originally said I wanted. Awesome store, awesome staff.

The staff here is top notch customer focused. Great to pick their brains and are very helpful for the DIY builder. Im happy this brick and mortar still exists, prices vs. web are competitve too.

This place is awesome. Got a bunch of items in the store at a fair competitive price. Plus the staff is friendly and answers all your questions. Plus the new RTX 30 series graphics cards price are not as expensive as online prices. I dont live both at Atlanta nor the state but they are able to give you options on how to send them the item if you have problems with it. Highly recommend

Wide selection of computer components (with the exception of graphics cards due to the shortage) along with basically any accessory you could wish for. The floor plan is very open and the prices seem very competitive for what I have seen online. Would gladly make this my Micro Center of choice.

This place was rather exciting to go too! I was here originally for my daughter and brother to look around but surprisingly it had a few things I needed too! The customer service is rather good too! 10/10 would recommend for other people to come here too if they wanted to build their computer up from scratch or if they need a new computer that is new.

So far not a good experience I brought in my Alienware for a broken fan thought at max would take a week and a half to fix. We called to get an update a couple times I was told it would be done on Friday or Saturday which would be about 2 weeks after I brought it in. Its now Monday and it’s still now done. People are nice but in my opinion this is just taking awhile when it really shouldn’t and it might not be in there control but I have no idea as all they have said is they will call us when it arrives. The only other thing they have done in the two weeks I brought my computer was run a diagnostic to tell me somethings I already knew and some things I didn’t. Honestly it’s not bad but not great just taking a lot longer than it should in my opinion besides that the people that work there are nice.

Customer service was pretty good. My wife and I had to buy her a new laptop for work and the gentleman listened to what we needed and found what we needed. He didnt try to up sale us or make us buy stuff we didnt need.

One one the few places that are still a full fledged computer store. It has everything for the enthusiasts but I dont like the actual place, it is uninviting. Looks more like an outlet store.

Its a good Computer Hardware store that also sells Laptops, PC Cases, peripherals and other electronics. Cant believe I didnt know about it until 2018. Previously I was shopping at Frys Electronics in Duluth before it closed.

Needs to replace all Best Buys. Has everything and great prices. I come all the way from South Carolina just to go here. Id rather spend the gas and time to get everything I need here then to go 20 minutes to Best Buy where they barely have anything and its all over priced. Its so much cheaper then best buy that I actually save a lot of money coming here.

With Frys gone, this is the last brick and mortar to get good computer parts. Staff is always helpful and knowledgeable.

I visited the store in Duluth, GA and was very happy with how the experience went. I was looking to finally build my own computer after being a console user for so long, and can certainly say the difference is night and day now. I am quite tech savvy, and did a good bit of research, but I still wanted to hear some opinions on the build options. Simon was quick to see if I needed any help, and was very knowledgeable when talking about build options. He helped me pick a better motherboard than my original choice, but most other things were right on par. Appreciated that he even grabbed the graphics card I was looking for immediately as there was only one left. The only thing I was a little upset about was the warp in one side of the metal of the case. Sadly, I didnt know about it until I got home (I live 3 hours away, one way), but I know thats not their fault, and didnt feel like making the trip back. All in all, it was a great place, and would highly recommend to anybody.

I teach public high school computer science and we are building PCs for our classroom. I tried to purchase online but the limit was 1 so, I talked with customer service on the phone and they told me if I came into the store, I could come into the store and get the processor deal on five CPUs. I went to the store where the manager changed the deal and I only received that deal on one item. I drove an hour to get to the Micro Center in Duluth. I am buying these computer parts for my classroom at school. As a public school teacher I took three hours out of my day to try and save my school some money and the manager at the store, Charles, was unwilling to help or make an exception for the school. I’m very dissatisfied with the bait and switch tactics that Microcenter employed today. I will be saving a trip from now on and buying from Amazon. You should save yourself the trip too.

Some people always said Frys was better but Frys is gone and Microcenter always had plenty of selection for a store with a much smaller footprint. I also typically find what ever technology, gadget, dongle, tool or cable you need they will have it. Plus the staff is knowledge will leave you alone enough to let you decide for yourself.

Love this place! Best spot to get any kind of memory cards and storage. They sales folks are always eager to help without being pushy. It is a pleasant place to be in. And they stuff they carry now it’s like no where else in brick and mortar world. If you haven’t been to micro center you are missing out

Honestly dont know what to do without micro center. Im a clumsy dude and go here Once a month here to repair/upgrade. Its the best store for pc building in America. If they dont have something In stock they always have alternatives. everything there is cool except the old man that keeps on advising me to buy the most expensive parts 🤭

I work for A corporate company called Pantheon Data Services and we often come to this store to purchase items that helps us with our projects for our clients. Today I went to Micro Center in Duluth and received very poor and rude customer service. I came into The store to purchase 4, 10 Terabyte hard drives and one of the representatives told me that I could only purchase 1 of the drivers instead of 4 and the only way I could purchase all 4 was if I ordered them online for pickup and he said they would be ready within 10 to 15 minutes. My boss ordered 4 of the drivers online and when I came in to get them they told me that they weren’t ready yet and to come back within 10 to 15 minutes. When I came back they told me that I can only purchase 1 after all that we went through, we explained what the other representative told us about buying them online and The manager “Brianna” was VERY RUDE!! we are paying customers who spends over thousands of dollars with this company and to receive attitude and rudeness was by all means VERY unprofessional and she continued to talk even after I was leaving the store. We will be taking our services elsewhere.

I recently bought my first PC and was looking to upgrade my system. I went in not knowing much and was told Micro Center was the place to go. I was greeted immediately and was asked if I needed any help. At first I was just browsing, but then I decided to get help. Stephen Fraser was the one to assist me. He gave me the knowledge and tips on the exact RAM & memory I needed. He went over all options available making me feel as if I had optimal knowledge about my system. After the experience today, I feel as if Micro Center has gained a customer for life. Thanks again!

Thank you to the black lady that greeted me and ushered me to my destination. She had curly natural blond hair (didn’t catch her name). She was excited bubbly and very welcoming! The male cashier she took me to didn’t greet me, but he did say goodbye etc. The portable Seagate hard drive I purchased was of good quality and for a good price. The store was clean and full of sales. You can check out items online and put them on hold aka reservation and pick up in store.

Microcenter regularly provides the pricing and selection of an online retailer, and the convenience of a brick and mortar store. The staff are polite and professional, and the store is always clean.

Forget Best Buy and other Big box electronics stores. This place was awesome. They had plenty of options and pricing was better then the 3 other places I looked. I bought a HP desktop and it’s awesome!!

Ive been going here for computer parts for years. I had a really great experience recently and I didnt even buy anything. I needed a fan for my laptop and the kind man in the service center looked it up and gave me advice. So helpful. They also have a great gaming accessories dept and the most amazing variety of keyboards.

By far the true BEST BUY of electronics! The selection is wonderful, the prices are very competitive and the customer service that Sean demonstrated was simply outstanding. A++++It was my1st visit today, of many to come no doubt. Well worth the hour drive! Thank you Micro Center!

After walking around numerous time someone decided to help me just to grab an item out the case. I don’t consider that be much help at all. Then asking is that all I said no and I needed something instead of helping to the location he puts a sticker on my item the says it will be at the front . Doesn’t take to where the other items are I needed nothing. It’s clear they don’t do price matching. No more shopping at this Micro Center

Ive built my current rig using this Micro Center for 90% of the hardware. The folks here are helpful, though sometimes maybe a bit aggressive when they approach you.Recently bought an HP laser printer for my wifes small print shop. Bob was very patient and had some helpful opinions and insight that set us at ease with a hefty purchase.Ill continue to come back. Prices can be higher here than online on some products like RAM, but it is easily worth supporting a store that has well trained staff and quality products on hand.

Definitely the place to go for your computer needs. They were very adamant about getting an address though which was annoying. Gonna pass on those marketing mailers.

I walked into customer service because I had an issue with my Graphics card. They diagnosed my concern and could not duplicate, so must be my hardware issue. My 2 star review is the because they tore up my brand new Strix 3090 graphics card box. The product itself is worth over $2,000 and it is not to be mishandled. I’m not sure if they were having a bad day but, them doing that degraded the value of MY graphics card. Yeah it’s just a box but, they need to learn how to handle other people’s belongings. Be careful bringing your things here, it might get damaged.

I love this store. I used to work at CompUSA, and this place is very similar. Mostly knowledgeable sales assistants, pretty decent inventory, and honestly better prices. I think the only place they fall down is sometimes they wont have some of the stuff you need to support older hardware, but thats a small gripe. They still deserve the 5 starts

It was a mad house. Staff was plentiful and usually helpful. Upselling at the cash register for warranty coverage and whatever sort of membership or club or whatever I could do without. We came to buy these items that we have presented on the counter. We are prepared to pay for those items in an ordinary accepted fashion. Tell us the total, let us pay, and escape your store.

Staff are super helpful. good stock, just make sure you camp if you want a good 30 series, they go really quickly.

Best place for computer parts and expert help. A hidden gem outside of the usual stores. Knowledgeable sales and service techs. They really know their stuff. Alex was a tremendous help in getting the right compatible parts at a great price. Excellent warranty on items. They even will build custom machines to your specs for a cost of course.

Literally never had a bad time at micro center. From personal to client projects. They not only have excellent customer service, but if I had a part snag they always have knowledge and inventory to match or do better from the original part I went in for. (guess we know why frys went under)

Its the little things. Guy at the front hit me up with hand sanitizer and directed me where to pick up my online order. The guy there was busy, and another dude left his post to ask what I needed and get my purchase from the back, and while he was checking me out, the manager gave me a card with the email highlighted in case I had any problem and thanked me for my purchase. Really good crew here.

It is the worst customer service store. Especially the desktop section.I needed a computer, so I visited the micro center. Asked me how many I needed, she told me I needed five. He talked about selling protection plans and antivirus, but I said I didnt need it. I said I only needed a computer. Then he said that he could only sell one per month. It was absurd. When asked if this was the case, he said that only here. I needed five G165 desktops for the company. I couldnt understand. When I asked the Maricro Center where there is another place, they said that they could buy 5 units.

I have been shopping at Micro Center for many years now. They havent failed me yet! Recently I have had more Zoom meetings and needed an alternative to my cobbled together stand. I went there and they had the most popular types and l found just what I needed. Thanks Micro Center 👍

Great selection of computer related items

MicroCenter is such a great place. Theyre a little tightly spaced compared to their sister location in Marietta but is still a bastion of a brick and mortar retailer that I love so much. Competitive prices too. This is my GO TO when buying components for building and maintaining my home computers and network. The staff is unfortunately a revolving door so youre almost guaranteed to see different faces every time you shop.

Ordered a computer case online... supposed to be WHITE... I picked it up with lots of other stuff and its BLACK. Now I gotta go back 45 mins each way to get the correct case because their new staff has been sucking on doing stuff right. Case was also damaged upon opening.

Gosh, am I surprised. Just went on line to buy a gaming screen for my Grandson as part of his Christmas gift. Reserved it and provided my credit card info on line. Was going to have my grandson go by and pick up his new screen. Surprised to learn after I contacted Chat that I have to be there with the card. No way I can go on line or call in to pay for it. I understand the need for credit card security. I can appreciate that. On the other hand, with all the other on-line transactions I make, Im not impressed with this policy when I compare this experience with other shopping experiences.... Definitely not customer friendly or convenient. May cost me $20-50 bucks more to get it elsewhere, but Ive learned over the years that I have a choice as to how and where I spend my money based on product and service.

This was my first time going to a microcenter, my computer recently fried and I was looking for new parts, a kind employee directed me to all of the parts I needed and it was a fast checkout.

I visited today because my laptop charger suddenly malfunctioned and they solved the issue. Im happy I purchased the store warranty because it saved me money today. This specific store is essential because of the quality of service. 5 stars.

Love this place. Its impossible for me to just run in and grab something, I always end up in there for at least an hour or two and spending WAY more money than I had planned and/or wanted to.

Good prices on computer parts and accessories

After three previously flawless experiences with the repair center, I felt won over by the Micro Center team and decided that my next major purchase would be made at Micro Center. I bought an IPad and a pen on my next visit. The purchase sat on my desk, unopened for 3 weeks . I decided to do cost/price comparisons before opening and I’m glad I did. A competitor beat the price I paid by almost 50%. So, I returned the unopened items.That is where things became negative to an unexpected extreme!!! I was in pain (braced up on my knees and back while waiting at the desk) and I didn’t expect to be profiled during the return process. The iPad and pen were presented unopened with receipt. The bearded guy with glasses (Oneybuchi?) immediately handed the iPad to a female associate and asked her to “check this out for him). I waited at the desk for a few minutes before becoming irritated with the long wait as the two CSRs opened the iPad, turned it on, and confirmed that I had not used it. They seemed baffled. The bearded young man with the glasses asked, “Did you buy this on clearance?” My response was I wasn’t sure, but I was certain that it wasn’t a clearance item because the iPad was discounted only by about $20.00 because it had been previously owned/used and returned (the package remained sealed as provided to me on the date of purchase). I told him that I found a better deal online. He ignored me completely.Instead of asking me to present the proof of a bette deal to match the price (or at least try to retain my business), he responded. Hold on a moment…. He then left the desk and walked to the back room with the other CSR where he remained for several minutes. By this time, my back was killing me. I needed to sit down - I was very irritated with the way I was being profiled by the two people. It felt as though the young man was certain that I was attempting to do something unethically. He returned to the counter finally and asked, “Can I look at your phone to make sure that you haven’t used the iPad?”That’s where I lost it! Right there, in front of everyone, I asked to speak with the manager. Then the female CSR arrived at the desk and explained that she simply needed to confirm that the iPad had not been registered. I displayed my personal phone and asked her what she needed to see for confirmation. She then reached for my phone to touch it and handle my personal phone. I responded quickly, “I don’t want you to touching my things. Please tell me what you need me to do so I can show you the proof you need to see. The short, heavy-set, young lady with glasses then responded by calling a third associate to the counter and proceeded to inform the other CSR that I refused to let her show me how to provide confirmation that the iPad was not listed in my devices. I then informed the third associate that she failed to attempt to provide verbal guidance and chose to physically handle my belongings instead of sharing verbal steps on what I needed to do to show her the information she needed. The third associate, a young Asian female, very professional and courteous shared the steps verbally. After I showed her what she needed to see, she confirmed with the short female with glasses. Then the male associate asked if I had the debit card from the original purchase, a total of 606.33. I was livid x 2 that they didn’t have the technology to simply reverse the transaction without me having to whip out more credentials (again).From there, I asked for a manager. The heavy-set young lady informed the Asian young lady to find one of the other managers on the floor. I knew that Mr. Charles Johnson was the general manager, but the manager the heavy-set associate mentioned was an assistant manager by a different name. Rather than waste more of my time, and to avoid more pain from standing, I simply left the store without an opportunity to share with management why I became so upset.They treated me as though I was trying to steel from them! I found it on Amazon for 50% less!!!
