Same as a lot of the other reviews. When you can get them to call you back they actually do good work. I have called over and over again. With no scheduling information or call back. Not worth wasting time, had to call another company.
I had Peachtree Irrigation extend our existing irrigation system we had in our backyard to cover our front yard. The work on the irrigation system they did was great, and so I paid them, however, that evening, I discovered that when they hooked up to our existing Irrigation Controller in the backyard, they cut the cable to our outdoor lighting, which I couldn’t tell until it was dark. I have reached out to them numerous times trying to get them back over here to fix the wire they cut, and crickets. I wish I could give them 5 Stars because the work I hired them to actually do was great, but the fact they cut a cable and have failed to respond is something I thought everyone should know about.
Set up an appointment for a Friday, waited till late afternoon, finally got a call that they would have to reschedule.Set up a new appointment for the following Saturday to fix a leak in the system. Two guys showed up, one guy did all the talking the other dug two small holes around the leak that took around 20 minutes, but couldnt find anything. The next 30 minutes was spent talking to the supervisor about adjusting the heads so the flow would improve on the rest of the system. He then hands me a bill for $240. Since I was late to an appointment, I paid the bill and called the office the next day.I asked what their hourly rate was - $100 was the reply. I then asked how it was that I was billed $240 for one hour when the rate is $100. The lady took my name and number and said they would get back to me. I called them back three times over the next two weeks - well get back to you.If you like spending money this company is for you.
Got a new system installed in the yard. The installation was timely and clean however any customer follow up in pathetic. One of the sprinkler heads was actually watering the woods between our houses not the lawn. Left a couple messages and sent emails but never heard anything. Finally resorted to doing the research and buying the tools to get that corrected myself. Also they do not take major credit cards cash or check only, this leads me to believe any warranty does not really exist.Proceed with caution on this one.
Peachtree Irrigation installed our system in April 2016. They did an excellent job, and we have not needed them to come back out until September 2017 when one of the sprinkler heads was run over. They were prompt for the appointment and repaired the broken sprinkler quickly.
We have had their system for about 4 years now, and we continue to find out more and more things this company messed up the job in our yard:1) When they installed the system, they turned off our water without checking the recirculating pump. The pump blew up. When we asked to get the money to replace the pump, the response was we have never heard of a problem like that2) They installed the pipes about 3 inches below the surface in many cases. My wife actually asked if it didnt need to be deeper when they installed it, and their response was the ground is too hard, but this will be fine. Subsequently, EVERY single other company we had in our yard to do any work was amazed by finding piping that close to the surface. The most recent company that is working on regrading our yard had to change their approach entirely, and said they had never seen an irrigation job as poorly done as this one3) Several sprinkler heads are sticking out the ground quite substantially, others are covered by grass and therefore not functional. We had to get it rectified by another company (because who would call back the company that blows up your recirculating pump when they work on your yard)If you want your yard to be a showcase for how not to install an irrigation system, go ahead and use this company. Otherwise, go somewhere else (at this point, I would say literally ANYWHERE else).
Although the work was done and completed, the customer service is wanting.
