There were a lot of people who were willing to help answer any questions we had for the things we were looking for. Very friendly and a pleasant trip even tho we didnt find the Duluth Cider product in cans we were looking for as it was a seasonal flavor.

Went in there to grab beer quick got carded ok whatever had my id but than they asked for my friends ID and she wasnt even buying anything left her id at home and refused sale to me . Well last time I go there.

If you dont have an ID, dont bother. Store policy will ID everyone in the group, if one doesnt have it, they wont sell to any of the group. For locals, I can see it being fine, for tourists, dont leave your ID at the hotel if your not the one driving

Usually this is the store I go to when I am picking up beer in Duluth. After finishing up some last mine shopping I stopped at Cash Wise to get a couple things. I arrived shortly before closing time, once it hit 5 an employee (assuming manager because she was wearing a different uniform) literally yelled at us when we were in an isle that they were closed and we needed to checkout. It was very rude and I wish I would have just set everything down I was purchasing. When we were checking out we had 2 orders and the clerk just rang it all up together. It was Christmas Eve and I get that people want to get out of there but they could have done it without being that rude. I’ll be taking my shopping to one of the other many stores in town.

The staff has ALWAYS been EXTREMELY FRIENDLY!!! The prices are at least a dollar less than Super1!!! But today, Im assuming it was the General Manager or the Owner, stared at me while I entered. She then followed me on my way as I grabbed the bottle of Seagrams that Im usually after and intercepted me on the way to checkout. She proceeded to tell me that my buddies were caught a few days earlier stealing. She also claimed she had a picture of me with them. This I KNOW FOR A FACT TO BE UNTRUE! The ones she spoke of are NOT! my buddies... They NEVER HAVE BEEN AND NEVER WILL BE MY BUDDIES!!! Just because were all Natives DOES NOT MEAN WERE ALL BUDDIES!!! It especially doesnt mean we ever hang out! I COMPLETELY RESENT this racial profiling by assuming that Im Native, means that Im a dishonorable thief like them!!! Because of them stealing, she automatically added me to their group and said I am no longer welcome in the store and to take my business elsewhere...No apologies to me yet? Before I send this to the news stations!!!!

Choice selection. I was pleased to find many offered cold in coolers, and their beer cave is legit. Staff was great, helped me find a particular beer and were kind during check out. This will be my go to spot from here on out.

Pretty good selection. Was looking for Korskenkorva Finnish Vodka, but Cash Wise doesnt carry it. Back to Super One.

Great selection, fast check outs! They had most of the local brews stocked in singles or cases. They even had a few killer sales that we couldnt pass up on (We didnt need Malibu going in, but for $17 for a 1.75L on sale, we couldnt turn it down!)

They banned me for a year for smelling a bottle I was thinking about buying yea it was wrong but I think it got to the lady making $10 an hr a little too much

Very kind service!Every time I’ve shopped at cashwise for the past 20 or more years that they’ve been in Duluth, they are very knowledgeable and patient.Today when I went in, without a mask, one of the clerks kindly asked me “do you happen to have a mask?”, and I explained that due to a breathing disorder I can’t wear one.Before I could even explain that the MN mask mandate permits people with impaired breathing to be in public places without a mask, He quickly said “ok”.Quite a contrast to other liquor stores in the area. I’ve given the competition one star reviews, Cash Wise gets five stars. Kind of makes it no contest.Looking forward to the shopping there in the future! Thank you!

Selection is good, prices reasonable, service not so good. Lets step up the check out experience. Had to get my own box and place items in box all while the shopping cart picker is trying to take my cart away...really does it look like I can carry all this to the car in my arms, the cashier just stood there watching me.

Workers are so nice, and they have such a huge selection. Theyre always willing to help you look for something, or give suggestions. I always find exactly what I want.

Best prices in Duluth and the surrounding MN area. 100% on that basic important fact.

Probably the rudest shopping experience Ive had in my life, hands down. Obviously the 4/5 employees had somewhere to go...as we were rushed out of the store 5 minutes before closing. Probably wont go back.

The staff is always very helpful. However, this was the third time Ive been in there when they were out of what I came in for. To answer the owners question, yes I have asked staff each time. Last night it was Vikre Aquavit that was listed as being on sale.

Cash Wise liquor store in Duluth, sold me a faulty box of wine. I tried to return it and they refused to exchange it, or give me my money back. They pretty much said its not our fault, goodbye ! They are thieves, and the highest priced liquor store in Duluth ! And, customer service is a 0 !

I’m not a huge review guy but I had a pretty negative experience here. First, let me say that the selection is great. I found everything I was looking for but checking out with an out of state ID was an absolutely miserable experience. The employee spent some time leafing through the book about IDs they have, referenced mine, took it into the back for 5-10 minutes, and came back saying they couldn’t accept it. He asked for a second form of ID in a way that indicated he expected it was unlikely that I would have one on me. Thankfully since I had my travel bag with me, I had my passport in the car which I had a friend bring in for me. He then tried to tell me my passport was expired because he was looking at the issue date rather than the expiration date. I doubt he had ever looked at a passport before.Train your employees on out of state IDs or passports. Wasting clients’ time is not a good way to have returning business.

Well I have cleaned and shopped for many types of liquor, they seem to have it all and the prices are the best in this area, when we cleaned it we would dream of how long it would take to finish it all off, I think I could never drink it all in a lifetime, plenty for all !
