Took my daugther clarinet in to have one cork repaired and was told $15 to $20 than when they call to say its ready the cost was $62 and after talking to them and all the unauthorized things done to it they went to $40. It would have been nice if they called before fixing things I didnt know had to be replaced. Will be taking instruments to the citys to be fixed from here on out.

The sales people were very cordial & greeted you right away when you came in. Took you to the section you were inquiring about. Got you all set up. And approached you later to see if you had any questions.

Excellent folks to work with at Schmitt. I just bought a 12 string Guild guitar that is absolutely incredible. I’ve found guild to be some of the best made acoustic guitars and have always wanted to have one for my own, and it certainly lives up to the expectations. Highly recommend guild, and shopping at Schmitt.

For such great reviews, Im sorry but I wasnt impressed. Walked in to look at a few bass guitars. Said hello to the two associates behind the counter but neither acknowledged my existence. I then walked to the rear of the store where the basses were located, thinking maybe someone might ask if I needed any assistance. After a few minutes I just left. I guess I didnt fit the profile of someone who could afford any of your instruments so Ill search elsewhere. Thanks for your time.

Love Schmitt Music at the Miller Hill Mall in Duluth, MN! My 9 year old son takes guitar lessons there and loves it and they were also very helpful when I had many questions about everything from music lessons to various instruments.

Always great service! They have spent hours with my son helping him with purchases. They realize how important music is to musicians and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. We have never been forgotten after the sale and they support the music community in the Twin Ports.

Over the last 20 years I have purchased a number of Guitars from Schmitt Music. Always have great prices which rival any internet dealer and you can try the instrument out first, which is very important whether its a $100 guitar or a $1000 guitar(cant do that with mail order). They have a good selection of guitars for all budgets and levels.Also, the staff is Great! Most have been there for years and are very knowledgeable about all instruments.

I purchased a Guild acoustic guitar in February and a Fender Telecaster electric guitar with a Fender amp in September. I am really happy with both purchases. This review is one I should have done long ago. Bought a training kit there, and had missing pieces out of it. Went back to the store and the staff just told me they didnt have anything to replace the stuff. Since I was in school band at the time, I couldnt really return it. Yet the gentleman behind the counter didnt offer to swap out the kit with another or anything. Pretty much looked at me and said, sorry nothing I can do.

Our church recently purchased a new keyboard and after reviewing all the options and prices we chose to purchase from Schmitt Music. Not only was the price competitive, but the staff was a great help in making our final decision. It really was a better experience than just using the internet. What we had narrowed down to purchase off just the internet would have been a mistake now that we have been using our new keyboard for two months. Thank you Schmitt Music staff in Duluth!
