I have lived in the area for some time. I wanted to find a good mom and pops burger spot. So I found this place. I went in.. young lady at the register was very nice and knowledgeable. There were two cooks who were nice as well. Instead of getting a burger, I got the steak and cheese sandwich. Unfortunately, it tasted as if they used gyro meat as a substitute or the beef had more fillers than beef. Honestly, I believe it was gyro meat.. along with too many veggies and not enough cheese. I wont get this anymore but will give them a try with a burger.
Ordered Philly cheese steaks and a jumbo burger for my family. After the order was placed I was told they didnt have any of the items and the menu was out of date. Ive had this place before and the food was pretty good. But they need to update their menu if they wont be serving everything listed.

First time coming here and wont be my last!! Best burger spot in town hands down! I order a double cheese burger with fries and it was delicious! nice and juicy burger and for dessert me and my wife shared a home-made chocolate cake with a scoop of strawberry ice cream it was bomb!!! I definitely recommend everyone too give them a try! You wont regret stopping by!
Best burgers in town, hands down! To me they beat every fast food restaurant nearby, and they serve more than just burgers, from wings hot dogs, fish ice cream, funnel cakes, Philly cheese steaks! Man you guys have to try 10/10 for me !! Burgers are always packed with flavor and guess what the gas station besides it, they own it! So go ahead and support them with some delicious food and pumping some gas!!
I support local owned businesses but I don’t know if this was an off night or what but this was a huge waste of $50+ and timeThey made me pay for regular meals for my kids which are 2 but they supposedly was out of small patties. As you can see from the picture its a thin small burnt patty. We asked for mayo, mustard and ketchup only and of course we got everything. The tenders were burned and I asked for them to be recooked but was told they will come out the same. Not to add the funnel cake was burned and the batter was more like cheap pancake batter (this came from a 7 year old). On the bright side, my patty melt was pretty good. Unfortunately, it was not good enough for my family to return.
Highly disappointed... took WAY too long to get my food. I went there when it just opened in the morn at 1030am... didnt get my takeout order until 11:15... everything was overcooked and the grease is old. I had higher expectations for this place 😞 the only plus side was the cool graffiti art on the bathroom walls
Love everything Ive had at Hav-R Charburger. Favorites are the onion rings, Philly Cheesesteak, gyro. I really need to try the burgers, but so many great choices!Looks like theyve solved their app issues. Last two orders were ready early with great communication. One time they were too busy and seemed to stop taking online orders. Great solution, and keeps customers happy!
The burgers are not as good as they were and the service wasnt good at all. No focus on the customers time and quality and my burger was cold and I was dinning in my burger was cold. I could here them fooling around while preparing the meal. I want to support non big box places and support independent owners.
The burgers here are GREAT. Don’t order here if you want good service though. I ordered directly through their website, wait was 30 min. Arrived at about that time and the girl behind the counter only then looked at their IPad telling me they JUST got my order. Sends me a confirmation text saying pickup was an HOUR later. I’ll live with it because I’m in a mood for a good burger. Half an hour later, I get a call that went to voicemail from them. Voicemail is 10 seconds of silence. Get a text later from door dash telling me my order was cancelled. I call their number to ask why my order was canceled and I can’t get anyone on the phone. Burgers are the only thing good about this place.
Normally you can expect good food. HOWEVER, the service last time I was there was horrible (September 17). NEVER going back!The young girl taking the order got it wrong and then told my GF she mistakenly gave her the order incorrectly. Argued with me about it. Told us that they would call us when the order was ready. Nope. I went in and she was on her iPad. Asked when it was ready and she said ‘just now’ but the food was cold which I found out after getting home. Was going to cancel the whole order but the manager said they would not refund it but remade the order. The food was good but it is not worth it. No one should be treated rudely by their cashier. The epitome of someone who does not care about customer service even though that is the job she has taken.Looks like it is closed again. With their service it is no wonder.
Went in right at close by accident and didnt want to bother them with making any more food. The man behind the counter was very kind and insisted that he made our food. Everything tastes great and looked better. 10/10!
I originally went for the fish but after the first batch of fish, it hasnt been the same. The last time, my bread was burnt, the fish grease tasted old. So when I go back, Ill just stick to the Hamburger, so far so good, no complaints on the burgers.
Place is great. Especially in its recent days. Been eating at this place since high school. Staff is always cool. Bought a salad for myself and my wife. Rushing, I ended up dropping one of the salads in my work van. Came back in and asked the young guy at the register if he could make me another one while I ran down the street to drop my wife’s salad off to her. ( I was in a rush to go pick up and drop off merchandise for a customer that had just called me.) By the time I came back, the salad was ready. I got ready to pay, and a dude came from the back and said “You dropped your salad? Don’t worry about it. It’s on us.” He must’ve seen me throwing it away mad as hell 😂. Nah real talk tho. Dope atmosphere. Good Food. Cool Staff. IM IN THERE
Family run. Very friendly. Good food. They checked on my satisfaction several times. Pretty much cook to order so its not as fast but it is much better.
My wife has been going here off and on over the last 10+ years, and she introduced me to it a few years back. We stopped by not knowing this place had been closed at all to find it being remodeled a few months back after Jordan bought the place, again not knowing the story until yesterday. The remodel is amazing. It reminds me of growing up in the 90s. The food is just as fresh and great as I remember it, aside from cosmetic improvements it has been left alone in regards to food and feel. I hope everyone can stop off here and try the food. It got very busy as we were leaving after 5, so not sure why anyone would close this amazing place but super stoked about the new owners.
I found this place using Google search. The pics looked really good. It seemed like a hole in the wall kinda find. When we arrived it was buzzing. The place was full. Orders were flying. As we waited I noticed burgers coming out and they didnt look like the pics. I still kept hoping for the best. Then after a 20 minute wait our order arrived. My burger was so burnt I could barely eat it. The fries were so few and very dry. Im not really sure how you can mess up something so basic and simple. It was a huge disappointment and I definitely left hungry! I wouldnt go back. It just didnt seem like the service or food would change. Not really sure why there were so many people there. Every thing else looked over cooked as well. Very strange experience.

I found this spot by accident but Im glad I did...I love funnel cake and can never wait until October arrive for fair. The employees/owner is wonderful and customer service is above extraordinary...Ive never ate a Philly cheese steak and the way she fixed it with no onions made me hurt myself...She said Id be back and I did...My clients have free eat range on Fridays... they loved my funnel cake so I ordered their meals from here and I was giving the senior discount...Just try them if you havent cause I can go on forever about this establishment...1000000% guaranteed Approved!!!!
What can I say besides I would not recommend. Easy parking. You order food at front counter, there were no signs. Ordered the food and it took a real long time to make 2 burgers. We sat and waited 20 min. They had a fountain machine with RC soda, that is old school. The burgers came and they were burnt, cooked well done. Wife could not even eat hers. French fries what little the gave you tasted like frozen fries you cook in your oven. One would be soggy, the next dry and hard and another might be ok. Asked and had to get up to get extra condiments. Overall would not recommend because the service and the food was not that good.
The burgers are SOOOOO delicious!!! Patties on point, cheese melted to perfection and tater tots so tasty and good. My new favorite burger place hands down. Also had the homemade chocolate cake with the homemade chocolate icing and some strawberry ice cream, it was heaven on earth!
Awesome burgers, but they do have a service charge if you eat in; so take out is probably the best if you want to get rid of that.
If you havent ate here before you have no idea what your missing out on. Good food. Good employees. Loved it
My experience is with Hav R Charburger is the one in Venus right down the street from my home. I’ve tried two times to eat there and both times they were closed for business. I don’t understand the one in the gas station on the corner of 67 hwy is closed on Sunday and the one in Duncanville is open. If you are going to be competitive you need to be open to survive. I will not try again you just lost my business and have know doubt you’ve lost a lot more money since you opened up there. I wish it would of been chicken like they posted on windows before opening then they charged to this burger place. SAD

This is a good restaurant with great burgets and fries. The burger was bigger than I thought that it was,medium sized with pickes and lettuce. It was a juicy burger packed with flavor and packaged with care. The dessert was underwhelming, not a fan of the funnel cakes. This could be because I am from New Orleans so I am spoiled with that but it was very dense in flavor. Despite the dessert, I do plan on trying out other desserts and other menu items.
I love the food and although there are some days that the service is slow I know that it’s because soooo many people order from here so I don’t mind waiting at all!

I got the kool-aid pickles. 8 oz (half of a pickle plus koolaid) for $6.50. My mom wanted to try. But im not into spending more money on half a pickle than i would for a whole jar. Not again. 5 star for the taste

This was a terrible experience. We ordered a group lunch and it was disgusting. Ive been coming here for years and never had this problem. I dont think I can come back after that disaster. They used funnel cake mix for the onion rings, my Philly cheesesteak was nowhere close to as good as usual, the fries were limp, tasteless and couldnt be consumed. They didnt have cup holders for our drinks. The burgers were dry, thin and tasteless. It took too long to have subpar food. It was a complete disappointment.Edit: Yes, it was that day. Around noon, it was such a bad experience that my coworkers said they will never go there again.

Dont go in here expecting fast food, it isnt. They make it all fresh, and it shows. The food was great, should definitely try the Chipotle ranch burger if it your kind of thing, was very pleasantly surprised. Staff extremely hospitable, inside kept very clean. Only critique I may have of my personal experience is, maybe they could try a bit more on their fries, theyre kinda meh. Felt like getting them was a bit of a waste on my plate, maybe Ill try a different side item next time. Just big mushy potato sticks. Season em maybe? Or at least have that as an option I dunno. Rest of the food was so good nobody really cared, but it was mentioned by everyone, and most of the fries went to their begging dogs, though still theyre a far cry better than those hard crunchy overfried freezer burned crinkle cut fries they use to have . Fantastic otherwise, I highly recommend, just maybe pay the little extra for a different side, the fries might let you down. The old charburger took the char in their name just a bit too seriously for our taste. Compared to that Id go 10 stars if I could. Edit* ask and you shall receive, just got food here again and the fries forsure 100% better now. Thanks for listening guys, your food rocks.
If you went here years ago and remember the old Coca Cola memorabilia on the walls, understand the place we all knew and enjoyed has changed. You can’t replace those memories, but the changes will help create more. The food is even better than I remember, and that little bit of hospitality given at the door make all the difference. The people working inside are fair, kind, and completely enjoyable. I love the new walls, I love the changes. I love that the taste of the food is still uniquely the same- if not better. I order my food over the phone at 8:00. The person I spoke with said my order would be ready in 35 to 40 minutes. My husband and I arrived at 8:25. Our food wasnt ready until 9:42. Its absolutely ridiculous we waited almost 2 hours for our food, to get it home and our order was wrong. First and last time trying this place so disappointed.
They make really good burgers and the customer service is excellent. Sometimes the burger can be a little too well-done, but it is still a good, decent sized burger. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Up until today I have never had bad experience since I was put on to this establishment. My previous orders were always correct and tonight the service was not the same. I ordered 4 cheeseburger combos (2 with bacon), 1 jr cheeseburger meal, and an order of extra fries...kids burger did not have cheese and my extra order of fries was missing and all fries were overcooked. Hopefully the next visit will be better! 🤞🏽🤞🏽

This rating is mostly on the service provided by cashier. We have eaten here before and the food is great BUT don’t come at closing they close at 9 but don’t take any orders past 8:45. They also start to close off part of the restaurant with these wet floor signs so no one will eat in. I had placed an order before cut off and when I decided to add to my order she simply said “sorry we don’t take any more orders.” I was adding more to my order many placed want you to spend more while you are there. Not sure what they are thinking management needs to rethink their approach.
The Philly was amazing. I’ve been back two times after and although I’d like to try other items on the menu, I just can’t steer clear of the Philly🤤

Food was awful, bad tomatoes on burgers, ordered cheeseburger but got regular hamburger had. To take back twice because after they put cheese on it and started to eat it was burnt, onion rings were burnt and they wouldn’t replace them. They also charged different prices than their menu showed and said oh I’m sorry we haven’t updated the prices. They were very rude and hateful this place was good before but I will never go back
Awesome food and staff...however, i think they need more staff....it took an hour and thirteen minutes to get the food!!!...also the grease is old and the fried items are overcooked....fries, onion rings, etc...not worth the over an hour wait...i sacrificed schedule anticipating good food in normal time....not here😰

This place has been around for years and has changed management but the food still taste great. I noticed they have an Impossible burger on the menu and decided to give it a try. It was great. You couldn’t tell at all that it was a vegan burger. I will definitely be getting this again. I don’t care for the fries as much. They used to have shoestring type fries that I used to love. I still enjoyed my meal overall and the customer service was great.

I bought a Bacon Cheeseburger on the go a few days ago and it was absolutely the best burger Ive ever had. My coworkers loved the food they bought also. Well definitely be eating there again when were back in the area.
