Tom Thumb always has a nice c amount of stock and clean store. The self serve checkout usually has a few closed checkout stations 🚉 with that aren’t being worked on. The line is getting longer and in 2 registers open. Basically, they need better customer service during busy hours. At least pay attention to the guest and open up registers as needed.

So poorly appreciated. When I 1st. Applied it took a month for me to get hired. When I first walked into the store I was ignored. The lady in customer service with the red hair was very mean. Ms. Marshall was the nicest. Also the lady that hired me was the sweetheart. In the deli was so unorganized and the lady that train me was okay, a little bit ghetto for customer service. The cook Darrell was AWESOME!!. THE reason why I quit was I put in my direct deposit and I had 2 wait until 9pm for the truck to come to get my money. Really as hard as time is. I dont think so. Thank God for the experience but Im back in nursing school. So blessing to you all

Great store and friendly service. I can always count on cleanliness, freshness and attentiveness every time I shop at Tom Thumb. Im even able to personalize my sons birthday cakes from the bakery because we LOVE their cakes there. Judy is the absolute sweetest and most patient baker ever. She was able to turn my 4yo birthday cake into a monster truck ramp. He was so excited and proud to turn 4

Visited this morning and had a great experience. Sanitizing wipes were readily available. The store was less than crowded. The produce looked picture perfect and the store was amazing clean. Staff was nice and friendly. Them seemed happy to be at work. Great overall atmosphere.

You can find some great deals here in the butcher section if you check the small stand alone displays in front of the meat counter. (Ex: buy one get 2 free)Just be sure to check your receipt as the cashiers ring it up incorrectly about 50% of the time.

Always busy yet very friendly customer service. The only thing is that management is not what it should be! I asked for an item in the store from the manager after asking nearly every employee about non-dairy cheese, which no one could find! He stated he would get that item in and call me when it was available, that was a year ago! I use Wells Fargo Bank and they have an ATM machine here so I still come here for that at least. So every time I come in they are busy but what impresses me is their awesome cashiers who always say hello and are very friendly and welcoming! Only thing this store has going for it!

8/27/21 Im trying to buy Ginger Train a box. And it ring up not a Food. Where they do That??!! So I gave it back. Everything I bought was Food.?! This item is on the tea, coffee aisle, price wrong. Always open early and cleaned. You could find all your shopping list.The staff are friendly and helpfully.Opens 6 am its the best choice in Duncaville area to get your stuff. But more expensive Wal Mart / WinCo

Tom Thumb is my favorite grocery store. I miss the olive bar but miss premade chopped Italian salad bowls more. Store is clean, restroom is clean and the seafood department doesnt stink.

Clean clean clean. Stocked with groceries. You can make all the grocery you need at this location. Secondly the service is awesome everyone is extremely friendly. I can only speak on the early morning weekdays crew. So welcoming. I love them

Staff used to be very kind & courteous but ever since the re-grand opening it has changed. Not sure if there is new management but there’s a lot of change, some OK, most...not good, in my eyes. (A+ for Produce & Deli department I’ll give them that, always stocked & sanitized.) Used to be my favorite place to shop in the Duncanville area but not anymore, guess I’ll shop back at Kroger’s for cheap price & actual deals.

Everytime I call this store Deli department AFTER 5PM no one answers or takes FOREVER to answer! This is the only department I call in this store in particular that does this, in the mornings it’s fine they answer right away, but the evening shift crew NECER does right! Absolutely unacceptable & UNPROFESSIONAL. Will be contacting corporate about this issue. Only giving two stars because other departments actually answer the phones. DO BETTER DELI WORKERS

Grocery shopping at Tom Thumb is the best, quality in everything from food to service. The bakery is especially my favorite, they always come through with delicious treats. And my latest rave is over this delicious cake, that was a hit at my daughters birthday dinner. Everyone loved it, delish and beautiful!

Their prices is a little high and I finally found the cookies I been look everywhere for. They need to carry the fish by the box at this location.

I’ve never been to a grocery store where they couldn’t cut the salmon by the size I wanted and only sold the entire fillet. Must be a Duncanville thing?

The store looks okay overall. But the prices…. GEEZ! Where do I begin?! The ICE drinks they have,they’re priced at 1.49, but the family dollar on Main Street have those EXACT same drinks for 75 CENTS! Make it make sense…. Like I said the store looks good but everything seems to be all over the place I can never just shop easily like I used to. Still bummed out that the former store director Mr.Sonny is gone, he was always so nice & spoke everytime I saw him. The hospitality left when he left & it’s so apparent. I probably won’t be back after today’s visit smh, not because of the employees, but the high prices are out of control & the new management isn’t my cup of tea.(although I did meet a lady named Deanna today she was so nice & kind and was helpful!)

The one thing I can depend on is Tom thumb had everything I need. Plus the cashiers are always nice.

Great place stable prices and all around clean

My husband went to purchase a gift card here. He was given his receipt and not the gift card back during his checkout. He immediately went back inside once he realized it and the cashier and customer service representative conveniently “had no recollection” of his purchase or his gift card. Nobody could find it. And of course since it was a gift card there were no refunds. His gift card was stolen and there was no recourse or consequence. Disappointed.

This Tom Thumb always has fully stocked shelves! Great meat and poultry prices. Fruit variety and freshness are lacking. Inspect bagged fruit before purchasing.

Tom Thumb is always nice an clean. Some of the people are very friendly when I go. I dont shop here that much cause the prices are high.

I dont normally shop at Tom Thumb, but every time I DO come here its always a good time. Theyve got Starbucks, theyve got floral arranging, its basically the whole package. The prices may be a bit of an issue to those who are more into frugal shopping, but if youve got a rewards card like I do (its free!) Then youve basically got good deals left & right. I usually feel pretty good about shopping here due to the excellent customer service & also their selection of fruits & veggies is pretty large! Which is good for somebody who has limited dietary options. Overall, this store is great! I recommend coming here regularly or if youre like me, then semi-regularly. Youll definitely get what you paid for here.

Tom Thumb had the lighter 90 calories KozyShack Simply Well Rice pudding that has less sugar. My local Kroger and Walmart no longer have the lower calories and lower sugars Rice pudding in KozyShack or Jell-O brands or in other brands.

Love shopping at Tom Thumb for quality assurance; however, it seems as if they rearrange items often and the lines are usually long.

There was plenty to choose from. The prices were great, if you shop. Store brands are least expensive. The staff were excellent! Very kind and answered any question we had about their products.

Tom Thumb is my go to store if I just need a few items. It is an easy in and out. I can usually find those odd items not found at large stores. The staff is nice and usually very helpful.

I went to see what the store has in stock as this isnt my normal store. I was very impressed as to the huge selection They have and Items I cant find in my normal store. I like to buy fresh rolls to make sandwiches with, but with my store the rolls mold in just a few days and are a bit large. Tom Thumbs rolls are just the right size and dont mold. I also found more Asian food to cook with. Good Job to everyone that works there.

Well stocked! Good quality perishables...dairy, eggs, meat, vegetables, fruits, etc. They need to be more aware when they have only two checkout stands open (self-check doesnt count) and there are four or more people in each line...its time to open another register. And by the way, if you expect your customers to check out and package their own groceries, you need to offer some sort of a discount. I like Tom Thumb, but please, dont make me feel like you dont appreciate my business!!! And yes, I do have a Tom Thumb customer card. And, it does offer some good discounts, but I still need more. If Im expected to check out, package, AND carry my groceries to my car...maybe I should get an employee discount👍
