We were very happy with the service from Flooring America, from the moment we walked into the storeroom, to the last piece of quarter-round trim attached to the wall after the tile had been laid. Josh did all the work himself, ripping out carpet, measuring for tile and trim, laying the tile, grouting, cleaning up after himself, and removing all materials for disposal. We are 100% happy with everything and the cost was quite reasonable which is an added bonus!!

I had great service today on my maiden voyage into selecting flooring to be installed when I chose to visit the Dunedin Flooring America location. Why was my experience so remarkable?First, Flooring America has an interior designer on staff and in the store. Her name is Sue. We are planning a small job (a very small job) and just in the early phases of figuring out the right look for the room. However, I felt like Sue treated us the same as if we were coming in to floor an entire house.The second reason I had a remarkable experience was that I learned Flooring America is a co-operative. Although it is a national retailer, each location is owned locally by individuals. I thought that was cool Shop local!The third reason I had a remarkable experience was the wide range of samples IN THE STORE to choose from.We had brought in the wood paneling we plan to use in the room (rift white oak) and the paint (a Sherwin-Williams Lazy Gray). We were able to lay about 12 different hardwood or LVT (luxury vinyl tile) samples alongside our other materials and navigate to get the perfect grey/beige flooring with the grain we liked.Sue was instrumental in helping us navigate the wide selection of options. It also was a relief to talk to a professional designer for free and get some validation that our color scheme and planned materials were working together.If you are considering flooring I highly recommend that you check out Flooring America in Dunedin. PLUS, Dunedin has such a cute downtown and good restaurants (I had stone crab at Hog Island Fish Camp) that you can make an afternoon of it.

Had a good experience with this company as we bring our 60s house back to life. Good product, good follow up by Rob and the installers did a professional job. We did run into a small hurdle with the closet doors not opening and closing due to floor height. To their credit, they arranged for their trim carpenter to resolve the issue.

When we were looking for new flooring for our house we looked around at several different places. Bobs carpet mart treated us so bad. From the second we walked into Flooring America they were so friendly. My kids wanted to stay and roll around on their carpet, they loved it and the customer service was amazing. There was not a single question not answered and we got the best deal around. Today we got a phone call they pulled up their carpet to be replaced and asked if we wanted it. My son is so astatic! Rob and Sue were very helpful to me when I was trying to decide what flooring to buy. I didnt feel any pressure from either of them and they were willing to help in any way they could. I also appreciate the fact that Rob was always checking on the workers who did the work to make sure things were going smoothly. The product is wonderful. ALL of the people that worked on my flooring were very nice and really good at their job. They even moved furniture back for us. I love the waterproof vinyl flooring and the new carpet. Ive used Flooring America twice in the past year. First to carpet two bedrooms, and recently to remove carpet and replace with vinyl planking at a new villa I purchased. They were awesome both times. With their advice we selected Cortec Plus (Red River Hickory) Waterproof Vinyl Plank Flooring. This product is not only attractive, but also durable and virtually maintenance free.The installation process was efficient and accurate. Each plank carefully fitted and joined as if it was precision machinery! When the job was completed, the rooms were clean, the furniture was back in place, and there were no creaks or squeaks when walking on the floor. Sue and Rob are wonderful. I had water damage and had to partially replace my carpeting. Rob helped me find the closest match possible with a wonderful carpeting. (Stainmaster) The installers did a great job with the installation. Not one room in my house is square so laying the carpet is somewhat of a problem The seams all look good. (Because you cant see them.) I would suggest you visit Flooring America in Dunedin first, not last.

Mrs. Redman was unable to post this directly and asked me to post her comments on Google reviews-I made the decision to replace the carpeting in my home in Seminole, FL, with wood flooring. I believe in using local businesses in my community for all my buying. After checking around, I decided on Flooring America on Seminole Blvd in Seminole. I happened to meet with Store Manager Rob Wagner who was on loan from the sister store in Dunedin. Rob was very helpful, answered all my questions, helped me find the white-washed flooring that I wanted, and came to my house to measure the rooms. The flooring was ordered and several weeks later Eric, a professional and very determined young man, was at my home on a Monday morning to move the furniture and prepare the floor for installation. The work was completed in 4 days with the heavy furniture put back in place upon completion (this included a baby grand piano, grandfather clock and an organ). Having your house taken apart can be a very stressful experience but Flooring America made it as painless as possible. I am most pleased with the result, the expediency, and the entire experience.
