Great home improvement store! All the employees are happy to help. Store is clean. Never a bad experience. They also have unique Dunedin items like clothing, hats, stickers etc

Just went in with a custom saw, afraid they may not have the parts needed, but they did and took care of me quickly & friendly!! All Ace shops are solid BUT this location is actually very unique, both significantly larger in size&inventory but also the staff they have more over-qualified employees than anywhere Ive seen, will be coming here far more often!!! A++

10 STARS.This ACE is amazing, they have everything! The regular hardware store merchandise, and also home decor, personal gifts and fishing shirts, sandals, beach, towels, very nice pajama sets. Especially love the zippered bags made of recycled materials in cool prints. Best ACE ever 👍

Customer service has declined considerably at this particular location. Cashiers argue about Aces own coupons, the asst. manager doesnt even understand how to apply the corporate coupon offers. I see from store feedback here its an ongoing problem attempting to use the store coupons here, but I have 0 issues using them at the Tarpon Springs store location. I complained online and was contacted by a Senior corporate manager Jenifer E. who promised to mail me a refund for the amount of the coupon which the store had refused to honor; 4+ months later I still never received that and the manager no longer replies to my emails. Without the coupon offers, Aces prices are way higher than the big box stores and not worth trying to shop at what I thought was more of a smaller local business. The sassy attitude from cashiers definitely makes it not worth the drive out of my way to shop at this location.

You wont find rock bottom prices here but you will find an awesome hardware store.This store has the most awesome gift shop Ive ever seen in a hardware store. This handy little local shop also has a post office as well as the usual tools, maintenance and repair supplies, cleaning supplies and a garden section. The garden section always features a lot of native to the area plants that you wont find other places. In the repair sections, there is always experienced staff to assist you and your selections.

Great experience. I went to get our propane gas grill tank refilled for the first time after we purchased the gas grill from this store last year. I stopped at checkout to find out what to do, and the woman was very nice and asked if I had my receipt of purchase, which I did not because I was not aware that I needed to. She authorized my refill, which I guess was part of the deal for the grill purchase, instead of making me go back home for the receipt. Her kindness was noted, and we will be back.

Always cars in the parking lot but doesnt seem that crowded inside.Some of the employees are outstanding. Some others, not so much. Maybe they just need a little more fiber in their diet.

Ace is the place for a more personal touch ever been to bigger stores with no one around to help you I have!

Pluses: Cathy in gardening was helpful, decent array of plants, soil, etc.lots of cool things for your home and garden..Minuses: Staff seemed more content to engage in conversation w/ each other than to over deliver to customers. The mood of the place could be elevated as well as the friendliness and helpfulness of employees.I will go back there though as its more personable and intimate than some of the mega hardware stores.

Great local resource. Lots and lots of staff to offer assistance unlike many of the box stores. Their selection of fasteners nuts bolts and specialty items cant be beat. And having a post office inside is very handy as well.

A chain store but with a real old fashioned feel. The staff are accommodating if you have a question on where to find something or how to handle a problem in the house, and they never make me feel like I am asking a silly question. Well stocked even for things you might think are hard to find. There is also a nice home/gift shop that is full of terrific things around the holidays. I always come here first over the big box stores.

Very friendly staff. I had one gentleman ask me 3 times to make sure I found was I was trying to find. He walked me to different sections and helped me in everything that I needed. This Ace is soo big, they have everything that you need. And no long lines. Its perfect.

Stopped in to this location as it is super convenient. Had to have a car key made. Funniest thing ever, the Toyota key did not work in the car. It was rough around the edges so I gave it few tries and it worked. Then it would not work. Realized it had something to do with unlocking and locking the car. Regardless, I could not depend on the key to work so I returned it. They replaced it with a plastic key similar to the one I had but had tried to avoid since it was the Toyota key kind that was plastic and prone to break, this one worked fine. While I was there I decided to replace the key fob so I ordered it and paid for it on the pretense they were going to install it since I had tried myself and had failed. It took a couple weeks for the key fob to be delivered, and It came the day they said. Steve (the key-maker) made an appointment with me and when I arrived he was right there to get the key fob installed. Turns out there is a problem with my car being so old, etc, and I knew it would be an issue as I had tried this myself, and I knew the key fob was altogether different from the original one I had received when the car was purchased. Nonetheless, STEVE stayed outside in the parking lot for 1 whole hour trying to get it to work, he even called the manufacturer, etc. I was given a refund, but was totally satisfied that he had tried as hard as possible. His persistence did not get the alarm to work but it surpassed the call of duty. I give this store a big fat 10 for customer service. Bonnie O

I recently moved into a trailer house built back in the 1970s and from what I can tell a lot of the cabinet tree and other parts of the trailer structure our original parts. I have been looking for parts in order to repair different areas of the trailer and it has been a very difficult process but I was very happy to find the parts that I needed at this Ace Hardware location! I would encourage anybody before you give up the search on trying to find parts from Plumbing to Hardware or any other areas in between to go to this particular Ace Hardware location and just take a look because I would be leaning towards that they would have what you are looking for. If you remember the old time hardware store back in the day, this is a modern day version of that on a grand scale! I invite you to go there and walk down memory lane. Yes, of course, if you are looking for that hard to find item, its probably there. On top of it all, very friendly and eagerly waiting employees are ready to help you find it! This is a nice size store so it will take some time to browse it entirely. As a added bonus, dont forget to get your bag of popcorn to munch on while you shop. If your tired of those big box stores like Lowes or Home Depot, then youll love it here. Highly recommend....

Great place to buy replacement parts individually, unlike Lowes or home Depot in s have to buy in packages for replacement parts.

I love the quality of the products as well as the unique variety they have. The post office is a plus. The plants in the garden center are well kept and no all commercial variety. Staff is easy to find, friendly, and knowledgeable ... And i can get my still Stihl products services here as well!

I went to Vision ACE in Dunedin to get an 11# propane tank refilled and was charged for 12# because the register operator said there was not a SKU for an 11# fill. I asked the filling operator to weigh the filled tank and even though the tank was sitting on a scale she told me she couldnt weigh it since they no longer fill by weight. When I got home I weighed the tank on a bathroom scale and it didnt even get filled with the 11# I wanted. Tare weight of the tank is 13.3# and the gross weight was 23#. This means I paid for 12# but only received 9.7#. This place rips you off on propane fills.

This is that old fashioned hardware store you went into 50 years ago... interesting enough just to walk through!

I believe its the best Ace Hardware Store eva. Its so large it has everything from hardware to gifts ( even some jewelry ) that you dont find elsewhere. It even has some clothing and a small post office inside and helpful, knowledgeable employees. I enjoy shopping there.

The store is on the northern side of Main Street in Dunedin. It has ample parking but the store is long and somewhat narrow. I would call this more of a department store than a hardware store. The service was non-existent; not that I asked for it. I roamed freely looking at different things and not one person approached me. The selection and variety is incredible, the prices are somewhat in line with competition but its the highest priced hardware store in the area. I believe they have a USPS counter in there. The place has two exits/entrances, plus the garden center is also open. I didnt see anyone back there either... If I have to go to an ACE Hardware, this is the one I go to.

Don and other guy didnt catch the name in grill center where awesome. Got the master built gravity fed grill from them. My family and I will not go anywhere else. Staff are awesome. Never new such great selections.

Close to home. Great prices. People are nice.

If you cant find it you will find it here. Youll find the best selection of fasteners available anywhere. They really do have the helpful hardware people there. I like buying from local businesses and this is the place to do it.

The store is huge and amazing! They have a wide selection and they even have a post office but my absolute favorite part of this store is the garden section. They have rare hard to find plants that other local stores dont have. I recently got into gardening and I am SO IMPRESSED with the selection of plants and the fact that the prices are lower than a lot of other places that sell rare plants. Plus the garden staff take the time to answer all of my questions. This is my new go to gardening store for sure!

I could do without this location . I have been in here a more than once and its very clear the employees hate their jobs . They make you feel like your bothering them . I say this since i have been in this store around 8 times out of pure necessity and its always the same atmosphere . I now go to Home Depot which is a 15 minute drive farther. I personally think this store survives because of its location. Its too bad i couldnt give more stars.

Ace Hardware is the only store that has the air filters for my cold air return. Also, great for those odds and ends you need to complete the job.

Didnt have the two air conditioner filters I needed. Both out of stock.

I came in recently looking for one of those little batteries for my key chain. At first I was overwhelmed at the size of the store. But then I ran into one of your friendly staff members that took me right to the exact battery I needed. Then at the checkout there was another cheerful member that rung me up and sent me on my way. Loved the store and the staff. A definite must return for future household needs. 👍

They have everything youll ever need in a hardware store. However, customer service is hit or miss. Most of the employees are senior citizens and it appears the they are more friendly to their peers. Other times Ive had great interactions. Either way, Ill still patronize simply for the selection.

Worst experience when returning a product. Manager gave me a hard time cz i tried to return a product i bought at a different store. From now on my business will be at homedepot never again will buy at ACE HARDWARE.

We stopped at 2 Ace Hardware stores looking for vanity/ mirror/ faucets, etc. First Ace was dirty and uncomfortable so we went to the Palm Harbor Store which is clean, helpful and organized!

This is the best Ace Hardware I’ve ever been to.I’m always going here for anything from paint two small screws two random supplies for projects around the house and for fun.Also of note is there a big selection in the outdoor department. They have lots of natural ways to determine bugs, and they also have lots of options for decorating your garden. I find that their outdoor plants and trees section has high-quality items and the experts there definitely know how to guide you in your outdoor garden design.Even in the hardware department, you’ll find very helpful employees that know exactly what you’re looking for if you describe it right, and they know immediately where to find it. Sometimes I will be halfway through a sentence when they know what I’m looking for.Bottom line… If you want something done quickly, this is an A class in and out place to go.
