Found a lot more than what I had gone over (from Mt. Dora, FL) for. Had taken 2 friends to the shop and they had as much fun as I did. Beautiful fabric, wonderful prices and just so sorry they are retiring and closing the store but know they will enjoy retirement 😀 I will get back over before the closing date. Love you guys💕

If I was twenty or thirty years older it might be the place to be but I live in Florida and a quilt is not really need

I brought my mother in law to this quilt shop because she quilts and loves everything quilting. She cane down to visit from Michigan and was excited to check this place out. Well... the lady at the front register is VERY rude. She is an elderly but ornery lady to say the least. We were trying to make conversation with her and since there was a large glass divider between us, my mother in law decided to take her mask down so the lady could understand what she was saying. She rudely told her to pull her mask up and everything my mother in law said she was just very short in her response. I regret coming here and will never go back! If you’re in a good mood, I highly suggest that you don’t come because you’ll leave feeling bitter.

Going to miss this place! Wish they were not closing.

Dont bother! Better friendlier places to go to. The woman at the desk treats everyone like a criminal. I have read the reviews about bright house credit card issues that is BS! I have a business near here with CC machine, just excuses she needs to retire! Hear they are this year good idea!The staff acts like your a problem if you dare to ask a question and I only went in to support a local business. I lived in the area for years and completely avoid this place after being treated badly....on more than one occasion.You always try to go back to give a second chance and a third. If there is a 5 star review its for the fabric selection not the STAFF! OR they are paying for good reviewsNo more!Bears and quilts in Clearwater is a better quilt shop by far worth the trip.

This is the best fabric store in the state of Florida their getting ready to retire and close their doors by years end. The fabric is top notch and really worth it. This store is still colorful and very knowledgeable ladies work there. We will really miss this store. So go now and wish the ladies the best in their retirement. I will miss their smiles and willingness to make you happy.

The lady at the checkout is one of the most difficult people at any checkout anywhere in the world again and again.

So many fabrics to pick from, unique patterns to pick from, the man that works there was so helpful and knowledgeable to the people looking for specific patterns. Everything was 30% off, most fabrics were around 10 to 13 dollars a yard. 4 out of 5 stars only because the price was a bit high for my budget. Great shop!

Best quilt shop for over 30 years . They have one of the most experienced staffs in the country. More than 20,000 bolts to choose from plus notions, patterns, and books galore. I read all of the good and bad reviews before going. But, I just had to judge for myself. I had a very pleasant experience. Perhaps because the store was not packed. It was just after opening. I was greeted upon entering. Small talk was made. The gentleman, Bill, cut my fabric nicely. The older woman at the register was friendly. Any questions I, or my husband, asked were answered politely. Maybe it was early in the day and they were still in good moods. Who knows. The selection was THE BEST I’ve seen in quite a long time. I could have spent hours there and SO much more money. If I am ever back in the area I’ll be sure to stop again.

When I die, bury me at Rainbows End. This place has an outstanding and huge selection of fabrics - theyve also got designer brands at very reasonable prices. I found fabrics here that are hard to find or expensive online. I love being in this store - it has a welcoming atmosphere, and is organized very well. I will be back!

So much, so many choices. Beautiful, colorfull, quality fabric. I was in fabric heaven for the time i was there.(Please be there forever.) Fabric is sorted by color, and design. WOW! I found an area where they had shelves of natural printed designs like pebbles, rocks, grass, sky with or without clouds, water, waves and many other designs. I want to live in this store and spend the day petting fabric. I didnt notice anything unusual about the service, because i was in constant awe of the fabric. I love this place i will be back.

This was my first time visiting your store and was hoping for some more one on one help. Everyone seemed nice but it was overwhelming when I first walked in. More helping customers out would be nice.

Have been going there for years because of the incomparable selection of beautiful, high-quality fabric and the patience and knowledge of the staff. They are always willing to answer questions, give detailed advice, and show me how to do something. They have pulled newly arrived fabric from the back room, drawn diagrams, and walked me through tricky methods. Im always willing to try new techniques because I know I can go to them for expert help.

Great quilt store, very big g selection of fabric in many different rooms. Places for you spouse to sit while you shop. Nice pattern section, along with many fat quarters. Did not see a large amount of jelly rolls, but all the fabric made up for that.

This is the best fabric store! They have a amazing amount of designer fabric! Fat quarters, quilt kits, notions, beautiful trimming, batting, fabric for all the holidays. Owners & employees go out of there way to help you. Did I mention the fabric? The back of the store is all Christmas !!!!!!

First things first, WOW! I have been so amazed with this store since the moment I walked in. They have a huge variety of fabric that youll find for any project. Prices are a amazing due to I base price on quality and yes the quality of the fabric sold is very high. The staff knows where everything is and is always more than willing to help you get what youre looking for or just helping match fabric. They have all up to date fabrics. I am truly amazed and in love with the store and the wonderful hardworking ladies that work there. I am addicted to this place!!

Im like the reviewer Ingrid...not a very friendly place. There were probably 4 employees in the place when I went to visit a couple of months ago. Not one of them ever acknowledged my presence in the store. I even walked past a group of them chatting but no one said a word to me. While I enjoy browsing on my own it seems to me that they are missing a cardinal rule of retail. Welcome and acknowledge all customers in your business.The store has been around for years. Ive visited them in the past, as well, but its been many years ago. They have a nice selection of fabrics but as with most locally owned fabric shops their prices are at a premium. You will not find Jo-Ann Fabric deals in this store.

If they dont have it, it doesnt exist. Everytime I visit I have sensory over-load. The staff is knowledgable and quite helpful.

I love the shop- incredible selection of fabric, notions, books and patterns with some very cute gift items sprinkled throughout, my only irritation is simple to overcome with headphones... This is a family business, and a byproduct of that is staff talking to one another, and about one another like well, family (good and bad). There is an air of weve been doing this a long time and are easily irritated by you customer types too. This doesnt keep me from going, but it doesnt have that Happy Place vibe, seems like they could all use a vacation to recharge! And yes that male employee is the reason for the headphones, his penchant for sharing the minutiae of his life with customers, LOUDLY and at great length is annoying, and the counter is manned by a formidable woman that can be a little brusque.

Met them at the Jacksonville Quilt Show and was very pleased. Lovely people, beautiful fabric and a broad range of patterns to pique your interest. Definitely worth the time and I hope to make a road trip to their shop in the near future.

They have a LOT of fabric. They have a knowledgeable staff who will happily help you find things. Their fabrics are high quality and reasonably priced. Their prices are in line with JoAnns designer fabrics, but higher quality

I was in the shop two years ago and thought I had come to heaven ..!!! ..And in a way I had ... quilting heaven ..So much gorgeous fabrics in all colors and brands.Amazing overview, and very good service.Next year we planned a trip back to the U.S. (from Norway) and Rainbows End is a shop we have set up our MUST visit list...

I was expecting grumpy staff but the gentleman who cut my fabric and trimmings was fine. Super selection of fabric, all sorts and the range of ribbon was amazing. I found some really unusual french braid. The lady on the checkout was very chatty and spoke at kength about their trip to Paris sourcing stock. It is obvious from the store that a huge amount of time and care is taken to provide such an amazing fabric range. Definitely wortg visiting, easy parking too.

The shop itself is one of a kind. Never have I seen so much fabric and patterns. If you cant find you material here, you wont find it anywhere. The prices are high, but quality materials. I can not justify paying $7 -$8 for a spool of thread.Its a good thing that the selection and quality of outshine any quilt store Ive been to, because the staff members can be grumpy and unfriendly. You dont even get greeted when you walk in and that is a retail no-no.This could be a 5 star business with a little customer service training.

It was devastating to find out this shops true colors. Disgusted by the behavior of incompetent, nasty women devoid of class and decency who truly do not know what theyre doing. Great shop I just found!

This store is a fabric wonderland for all quilters and seamstresses -beginners or well-seasoned! The fabric selection is so incredible that you must take at least 30 minutes walking around to get yourself oriented and see everything available before you zoom in and focus on what you actually came for. Especially for your first visit.There are lots of examples of quilts and other projects everywhere, so you can get some inspiration too. But my recommendation is to go with cash only ---- at least for your first trip there --- so you wont go over your fabric budget (Is that a real thing? hahaha!). Also, my recommendation is to buy everything you need at once. Dont count on the same fabric to be there when you go back.

Today I accidentally came across Rainbows End and couldnt believe the quantity and quality of the fabrics. This store is better than the internet because there are just as many choices, but you get to see and feel the actual fabric. I cant wait to use up what I bought today and go back for more.

By the most colorful quilt store you could hope to find, fabric for days cotton, batiks etc. Been going there for years.

I have visited this shop on three different occasions. Wow, the fabric selection is beyond belief. If you can’t find what you need, it probably doesn’t exist. They have tons of patterns and books and samples made up with reference to the pattern. You should go with a project in mind as there is just so much to look at and take in. As with some other reviews, the staff is not really warm and friendly. I am fine on my own but if I require help, I would like it cheerfully given rather than grudgingly. It is too bad that a few people who shop lift make others feel uncomfortable. All in all, I will continue to visit this shop on the selection alone.

I recently traveled with a group of 36 people on a bus from Haines City, FL to visit this and another quilt shop. This shop was informed of our visit well ahead of our travel date and therefore, the manager/owner was expecting us. However; when we arrived she was not bothered to greet us or make us feel welcome in her shop. Rather we were busy trying to find (in a short time of 1.5 hours) what we were looking for and then waited in a long line of one cutting table to get help. The person checking us out was curt and seemed annoyed we were making her work. Again, 36 happy quilters looking to spend money in this store were treated like we were putting the owner and her employees out by doing work. I personally will not be revisiting this establishment.

I didnt have a very good experience shopping in this store. The clerks were rude and showed no interest in helping me. I asked if they had patterns for an 18 doll and was told no....go to JoAnn fabrics. I took about 3 steps and saw they did have patterns. And when I picked out my fabric they showed zero interest in helping me with the amount of material I needed. I guessed....and left thinking I wont be back.

Huge store with a lot of variety. One clerk was rude. Others were helpful. They must have a shoplifting problem as I felt we were being treated like we were going to steal. I actually didnt buy anything because it was a bit overwhelming.

Beautiful shop, huge selection of fabrics, but the staff was quite unfriendly. I have never been in a quilt shop before where there was no welcome, no chatting, no laughter. No one asked me what I was working on or made suggestions to be helpful. When I asked where a certain type of fabric was, the staff pointed in the direction, but did not offer to help me find something to fill my needs. It was a very unsatisfying experience!!

What can I say?? OMG!!!! The place is gimongous so be prepared to spend the entire day and still maybe not get to see everything. Especially if you like to take your time and fondle the fabric. I cant wait to get back to FL so I can go through the store again. Outside of MaryJos in NC, Ive never been in such a huge fabric store before. Awesome experience!

An institution amongst area quilters with an expansive and well-chosen inventory but apparently resting on past laurels, as the staff is woefully lacking in customer service skills. They must be following the lead of the manager/owner ( or at least thats how she identified herself) MaryEllen, who is confrontational at best, and downright rude at worst. If you call with a question, be prepared to either be grilled to be certain you arent a credit card debt collector (per MaryEllen) or treated as if youre an annoyance to the very-very-busy-doing-something-more-important-than-helping-potential-customers clerk who answers.The shop is too small for the booming voice of one of the male employees, who clearly finds his personal life worth sharing with everyone within hearing - which, unfortunately, is anyone within 100 yards. Most of the cutting staff are about as vibrant as a beige-on-beige tonal...or perhaps theyve just been beaten into submission by the combination of MaryEllen and Mr. Booming Voice. Either way, they are not beyond lecturing customers on store policy (mebbe taking out their frustrations where possible?) We asked to have an edge straightened before cutting and were promptly scolded by someone with far less experience in textiles than the least experienced person in our party. When we did - at home - straighten the grain, we lost 6 1/2 inches per two yard cut on one fabric and, 7 1/2 inches per two yards on another. Were not feeling too hopeful re the rest or our purchase. Like many fabric shoppers, we are usually willing to sacrifice price for the chance to see/touch/enjoy a well stocked fabric shop, but the truth is that all of the fabrics we purchased are available online for substantially less. Given the combination of the outdated and small minded store policies, the inflated prices, and unpleasant shopping environment, we find little reason to return to Rainbows End.
