Order #24539This is my second time having to leave a one-star review in the past two weeks. My original negative review resulted in quick communication, which was appreciated, so I removed the rating. I was told my cover would ship early next week and that was on Sep 23. It is now Oct 4 and I have not had any communication or shipping updates since the last review and still no cover has been delivered. I ordered and paid in full June 16. I have sent multiple emails and have called several times. I understand you are short staffed, but can I please have a status on my delivery?Thank youAshley

Should’ve read the reviews before ordering. Absolutely no response after the initial order- multiple emails and phone calls and zero response. Yet, shortly after I put in a case with PayPal, I see they’ve magically responded. They are alive and understand how to respond to messages! Well, glad I finally got your attention! Thankfully I got my money back. I don’t even know if this is a real company. Get your cover somewhere else.

SCAM……. Ordered a cover in June and it’s nearly October. They say that it’s not in production yet but the only way I can get a refund is if they get to keep $150.00. Website said usually ships in 15 to 18 days and the agreement said 7 to 8 weeks. When I called they said it was changed first of September to 11 to 12 weeks but time has passed and they still want to keep $150.00 for nothing. Who knew breaking agreements was so profitable!!!

I called yesterday 6 times (they have at least 3 numbers on the same website, also is a bit confusing) from open to close. I tried both the customer service and sales extension options, left 2 voicemails (one on each extension) and could not get hold of anyone to place an order. I just read all the recent reviews and now glad I didnt! It is clear they will just argue with you over any details rather respond in a timely manner or communicate up front.

Even though it took 2 months for my cover to be completed and shipped, I couldnt be happier. When I DID call, I was told the status and when it would be delivered. The workmanship is amazing, and it has been worth the wait.

Fast service, attention to detail, quality productI originally ordered a replacement cover for my Hot Springs hot tub through a local retailer, who was sourcing it directly from the manufacturer. After taking my money and telling me to expect it in 6-8 weeks, six weeks later I called the retailer back only to find that the cover was discontinued and they didnt know when I could expect it. Needless to say I wasnt happy and wanted a spa cover NOW.I made one phone call to this company at night (they werent open). I got a call back in the morning, which wasnt an opportune time for me so we rescheduled an in-depth call for later that day. After a 20-minute phone call (where the customer service rep John meticulously made me measure out, photograph, and confirm many small details) the item was custom ordered for me. I had it in two weeks (rushed, for a fee) and all told was just slightly cheaper than what the retailer charged me in the first place.When I got the product, I was shocked. Its honestly much nicer quality than the manufacturers original product. Im noticing the heat retention is better as well. Thank you for making a quality product at good pricing, and for delivering exactly what was discussed. Its rare these days, and you all deserve to be celebrated.

Order placed on 4/16/21. As of today, 6/23/21 I can get zero updates as to the status of my order. However, if I want to cancel they want to charge $150. Thats a scam. Its been 10 weeks......Response - Yes it is way past the time indicated and agreed to when the order was placed on your site. You breached any contract agreement after the shipment timeframe specified passed. I have left several messages and emails and was only able to connect with someone (rude) today who did not have any info about the order. He said he would still charge $150 if it were 6 months past due. I also sent an email dated 5/6/21 responded to by John which I was told the order would have shipped 4 days ago. You magically say the items is almost completed but really have zero info about my order.

Florida Spa covers where very professional and timely with ordering and delivery. The quality once was delivered had no issues and seemed well manufactured.

One of the WORST company’s I have ever dealt with! The person who answers the phone claims he’s a manger and there’s no one else to talk to. He’s extremely rude, lies, and hardly ever answers the phone and never I mean NEVER returns calls!!!! It has been a nightmare since day one dealing with this “company”! After dealing with them for over 10 weeks and all of the lies we had our hot tub cover today which we refused to take it because the package and the cover itself was damaged!!!! Now trying to get into contact with them is yet another NIGHTMARE!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

The man who answers phone is camp and full of drama who expends a great deal of time to place the order. They inundate you with emails after they charge your credit card when they had not placed the order. They had my money for nearly 3 weeks before the refund was honored. I had received 2 emails over the span of a week and they were still asking me to clarify my dimensions. With specific disclaimers that if anything is wrong they would not be responsible. Each email included different language. This appears to be a smoke screen for if something turns out wrong that Fl Spa cover will have wiggle room to not honor a refund or a reordering of cover. Very suspect of this kind of behavior. Then the drama king taking the orders trust to get indignant when he is asked to clarify the difference. I am leerly of this outfit and more so the overly sensitive order taker. Found other vendors on line with same product without the hassle and the feeling of slime.

I have been trying to order a cover for 2 weeks. I was willing to pay $75 extra for a 3 week delivery. Well 2 weeks later, I still do not have an order. So now my 3 week order is quickly becoming 5 weeks. No phone support and extremely slow to respond to emails. I went with a different company. Everything here is just too shady for me.

I ordered a spa cover over 12 weeks ago. Over the past four weeks or so, I have emailed four times and called three, leaving a voicemail each time. I cannot get a response. I also cannot ask for a refund because the form they require does not allow you to put in a reason and when you submit it tells you to put in a reason.

This spa cover is everything that the seller says it is. The craftsmanship is top notch and it fits like a glove. I was a bit nervous taking the measurements myself since this is a pricey, custom made item and cant be returned. However the instructions and video provided let me know exactly how to measure my spa correctly and the size is spot on. Im very pleased with this item and recommend this company to anyone interested in a new spa cover.

This company was fabulous from the start. Very, very helpful staff (John) when ordering and patient with those of us who are not fabulous with spatial issues! First cover we ordered arrived within 4 weeks. The box was damaged and as I was told VERY clearly by Florida Spa cover that I should not accept shipment if box was damaged; I did not accept shipment. I called Florida Spa Covers and they immediately took care of the issue and ordered a new cover. The second cover arrived within three weeks and was undamaged. The cover itself is really excellent quality and we are very happy with it.

Absolutely horrible customer service. John tells you one thing one day, and then the very next day he tells you something else.

I ordered my cover on 1/27/21 and received it 3/25/21. The only thing I was not satisfied with was how long it took once the shipping company picked it up. I am glad you company is busy and still able to get the product out in a decent amount of time. Some of my local dealers were telling my 5 months to order one through them and it was a few hundred dollars more.

Our Spa cover was delivered and it fits perfectly. The color and quality is great (matches perfectly). I would recommend highly.

After purchasing one of their most expensive covers, they shipped it in the wrong color and the quality is poor. After speaking with the manager, he admitted it was a mistake with the manufacturer they use, but they refuse to issue a new cover to fix the problem. Awful! Mistakes happen and all you need to do is fix them instead of continually pushing it off to other parties.

Ordered my spa cover through eBay. I was a bit skeptical of the quoted time period of 14 days to ship, but after checking with other vendors and being quoted anywhere from 10-14 weeks, I couldnt wait that long so took a chance with this company.It paid off. The cover quality and fit were as advertised, and I received it within the promised window of time.Would definitely recommend this company to others.

Please check this companies BBB reviews. I bought a cover from them and told them the exact model of hottub I have. They sent me a cover which does not fit the corners of my spa. I even called them and told them what kind I had. I used the exact measurements off the old cover. However when I received my cover it would not fit the corners properly. The corners were the wrong dimension for the hottub I advised them I have. After I requested them to resolve the issue they did not return any of my emails until I filed a complaint with the local BBB two weeks later. They weaseled their way out of replacing my cover using the excuse that I didnt measure my old cover correctly and telling me they had no info on my particular spa model. That is just not true. When I did communicate with John thru the BBB he told me to just cut the corner skirts to make it fit. Really John? Using their order form I did tell them in their Remarks/Comments area what my exact spa model was. Basically they will deny any wrong doing if you order a cover from them and it isnt correct. They will blame you for not correctly measuring your spa. Buyer beware.... I recommend not using this company. Dont believe me? Research them on the BBB website.Order #22079

It fits great and it is so much lighter then and old one. I can lift it on my own. if it were to fall on someone (it folds right next to the jacuzzi) it would not drown them :O),we measured ourselves and paid for 2 upgrades. it fits perfectly and the jacuzzi looks brand new.for the price with shipping, it was a great value.

Really happy with the quality and fit of my spa cover. It took about 8 weeks to arrive but was worth the wait. It is of better quality than the one that came with my hot tub and is light. Makes it easy to take on and off.

I tried calling multiple spa cover stores. None answered their phones live except Florida Spa Covers! They also answered emails same day. Because of this, I ordered a custom spa cover. It came on time exactly as ordered. I love it! Highly reccomend Florida Spa Covers.

Ordered top of their line cover for extreme temps and it does not hold the heat, snow melts on it. The company refuses to do anything about it, I contacted them numerous times and finally after a response they had a excuse that they couldn’t see steam but the snow is melting on the cover. It’s not holding the heat, they couldn’t understand heat melts snow!

Terrible company, product came damaged. A rental truck showed up, the guy could hardly speak English. Customer Service is the absolute worst Ive ever experienced. They are not interested in making things right for the customer. Instead the guy plays games. Buy at youre own risk. I promise you, the worst experience Ive ever had and Ive had pretty bad ones. I stress, read the reviews on these guys. Ive seen other reviews where there was a guy named “John the manager” I believe thats who i was dealing with and i agree with the others. Please have someone else call me so we can work this out! If it wasnt John then i will remove his name.

The Spa Cover arrived today and it is built to the specs I requested. In addition the customer service was very good on the day of receipt.ForwardAir dropped the box off rather than arranging for me to inspect the cover while they were on site. So the customer service stayed on the hone with me while I inspected it. The rep told me what to look for in addition to my own observations . The inspection was a benefit to me and per the agreement with Florida Spa Covers to ensure the cover was in good condition before concluding the official receipt of the cover.It was a good experience and worth the wait for a custom cover.

Excellent quality and workmanship. Delivery was glitchy as the driver did not know we were supposed to inspect before accepting delivery. A quick call resolved this and it was done. Very good quality handles and skirts. I will buy my next spa cover from Florida Spa Covers.

There is only one place to order a spa cover from and you have come to the right place. My spa is an older model and they had the specs. So no need to measure. Got a few upgrades but well worth them. Well made and light weight. Fits like a charm.

My experience with Florida Spa Covers went very well. After sending my measurements to them they sent me a well made product that fit like a glove. There was a hiccup in the shipping from Florida to California, but the communication between myself and Florida Spa Covers solved the problem quickly. I would recommend this company to anyone. Needed a replacement cover for my 10 year old spa. They had the specs on file and delivered a perfect replacement. Very satisfied with the cost, the detail to the final product and the customer service. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new cover.

I keep getting told that the check is in the mail even though I paid with a CC. Someone please help!Update, finally received my refund!! I will say that im not a big “John” fan. The issue for me not getting the refund on my CC is clearly on your end not mine. You shouldn’t argue that fact until you know what you are talking about first. I will give the company credit where credits deserved and that was in the expedite of my cover. Ordered on the 6th of Oct, in production by the 9th, the cover arrived (damaged) on the 22nd of Oct. unfortunately when the damage is on the seem, i have to think the quality in materials are in question.

I ordered a custom cover from Florida Spa Covers for our indoor spa. This is a 90s model, Hercules 6 person spa that had unusual measurements by todays standards. It also had a center hinge that was 90 degrees different than most. I measured everything twice and spoke to a nice man on the phone. I filled out their online web form to confirm the details. It took about a month for them to manufacture and ship by freight which was exactly as promised. I selected teal to match the spa and the craftsman is excellent! The new cover is so lightweight and strong compared to the old cover. The fit is perfect on all corners and folds properly for this spa. A very happy customer!!!

I have been putting off ordering a spa cover because I hate the complicated measurements the local store wants. HOWEVER using your guide I just fill in my numbers and the form fills it in. The item arrived on time and was boxed up well and had a nice plastic bag on the cover. I got my cover last week. It fit perfectly. The company was professional and wrote me a couple of times to ensure the right fit. I have a Caldera spa and this cover is better than the original.

There is nobody answering phone calls and nobody returns phone calls at any time during the day.John, the supervisor promised a refund of one price and then promised it at another lower price. I have been waiting for my refund and after more than 3 months, I still have not received it. The reason for the refund was because we did not receive the cover on time. I used the internet to find a replacement spa cover. After reading the reviews, a number of companies had reported problems with fit, delivery promises, and service. I chose Florida spa covers because it was the only company to answer the phone. My experience was excellent. The cover was exactly what I had measured and ordered. It came within four weeks as promised. I received progress updates several times while it was in production, and it arrived in perfect condition. Now all I have to do is see if it really lasts for a number of years as it was advertised!

Still waiting for spa coverI cannot comment on the quality of my spa cover as I made my order in June. I am still waiting for this cover. They ship it through YRC freight which has had my spa cover at their warehouse since the 21 of July. They have on their website a delivery date of Aug 11th.After a TON of run around from YRC and missed date after missed date the cover was delivered on the 11th. I am very happy with the cover but taking one star off due to all the shipping hassles.

I cannot believe this company remains in business! We agree with Teri - if we could give them zero stars, we would. We ordered and paid for our spa cover on October 29. 3 weeks later we had still not heard from the company and left 3 or 4 separate messages on their phone answering device (since no one answers their phones) for their customer service department to contact us about our order. We finally got someone from sales to ANSWER the phone and they checked on the order. Seems there was one question that they needed an answer to but NO ONE made the effort to call us. A week later and still no reply and NO SPA cover!! We left a message on their contact us site for their customer service manager to call us with an update. SHOCKED and SURPRISED, we received NO CALL back from anyone at Florida Spa Covers. Eventually our cover arrived, but easily a month later than their website talks about. Next time we will pay the extra money and have a reputable company manufacture our next cover. DONT Expect a call for this company!!

Just ordered a cover today. Customer service was nice. Stated the cover will ship in 4-4.5 weeks.

After receiving the Spa Cover it was discovered that the A and B measurements had been reversed during the manufacture process. After review of my order and sending photos as proof they agreed that it was made incorrectly. John from customer support called me and we have worked out a solution to have the cover replaced. He is going to expedite the replacement cover order as to minimize this error. This is a correction to my first review which was based on incomplete information.

We ordered a cover in late Nov. of 2019, and it arrived with no notice on January 10th. It does appear to be what we ordered, but their characterization of the heavy duty nature of the materials is way off. Handles and latches are small, weak and cheaply constructed, and the cover material itself is thin, and likely wont last a year. Ive also notice the heater in my tub now running constantly to keep the temp, which is wasnt before with the worn out but well constructed cover I replaced. Im guessing my electric bill will illustrate the poor construction even more. When I called to get additional information about the order, it took numerous calls and messages to finally catch someone, with many excuses about the delay. Would not order again, and will likely have to replace this cheaply made but expensive imposter with a real cover.

I ordered a spa cover and a cover mate for my bullfrog spa the end of September. They processed my payment and I waited for the cover to be manufactured. I received the cover approximately two weeks ago. When the truck delivered the cover the cover mate was not in the box. I immediately contacted the company and I was told to accept delivery of the cover and they would email me the tracking information on the cover mate. I never received the email. I called the following week and was given some excuse that the cover mates were on back order and it would ship out last week. Still no cover mate. I attempted to contact the company multiple times within the last week with no reply. Horrible service and company I would not recommend.

Ordered 4/7 and just received today 5/2. Shipping company zero communication. Waited around 2 days thinking they would be calling for ship time. No call just showed up on the 3rd day. Arrived in a cardboard box with NO internal protection but in good shape. First off plastic bubble wrap solar blanket was the cheapest piece of junk ever. It was so thin and flimsy like stuff they use for wrapping for shipping protection. Then the spa cover...super thin and cheap vinyl. Marine vinyl? Maybe but thick marine grade, NO WAY! I gave exact measurements and it fits but VERY tight. I almost have to stretch the skirt over the corners so these will be stress points that wear. Ill be surprised if it makes it through a Pittsburgh winter. Spent $403.99. Big mistake. Would be fine if it were half that price but no way near the quality of the old cover Im replacing after 7 years and paid $350 from a local guy.

Company threatens customers. Beware of Florida Spas. This companys representative states that they will not provide any warranty service or assistance with respect to my 1 year old cover. Furthermore they threatened to have my wifes gmail account shutdown, not google rating ability, but gmail. One of the intro lines in their communication was, 1 negative review is enough. They claim that her accusations were false but facts are what they are the top took in excess of three months to deliver and she cant speak with anyone above the supervisor with whom we are dissatisfied.Here is another review. Not a 3rd review but a new review. The company threatens their customers.

My covers inner reflective lining began peeling weeks after I began to use it. It is now peeling everywhere and a cant get a response from them via email. Other than the 5 year warranty being apparently useless it is a quality built cover. Do not spend the extra on the reflective inner lining!!!! Or better yet get one from somewhere else.

We were a little hesitant to order this online but the measuring instructions were helpful and when we did call with questions they were able to assist. We are delighted with the cover!!!

Product appears to be of ok quality but they need to package their shipments much better. First cover was damaged so bad the shipment company contacted me that I would need to refuse shipment. Second time box was severely damaged but cover looked ok... I could tell there was a small dent in it. It looked minor but after taking out the wrapped insulation I could see some slight damage to the wrap. Decided Id keep it since I already waited 4 months for a cover. Currently performing a self repair and will probably cuss myself in a year when its waterlogged. A simple few layers of padding such a bubble wrap or something comparable would have completely prevented this issue, but instead the cover was simply shipped flipped inside out and covered in only a very cheap cardboard box.

Sad that I didnt read the reviews before ordering a spa cover from Florida Spa Covers.I orderd a cover on September 2nd. Paid and waited...November 11th - called to find out what happened to the order. The rep contacted production and said that they had misplaced the order (but not the money :) ) and it was going to ship in a few weeks.Called again on Decamber 5th and they said - oops - not sure why the delay but emailed and said would ship in 1 1/2 weeks if I still wanted it. I said yes and they emailed back that they would email me with the shipping details.Sooo... another 3 weeks and I emailed asking if things were moving (December 20) - no response to the email - and no answers to calls. Emailed again on January 4th. Still no response. I think Florida Spa Covers went on Christmas Vacation.Finally, on January 7th I was able to speak with a person again and he said the delay was because of the color I chose - would I be OK with a different color - I said - sure. He said they had a completed cover they could ship with a shorter skirt in a different color. I said - go ahead and ship it.The spa cover arrived 137 days (4 months, 15 days) after I ordered it. It wasnt the color I ordered, had a shorter skirt and the corner radius was less than what I ordered (which was not disclosed and affected the seal around the side of the tub when closed. (It also had a little tag with the original person it had been built for).*sigh*

Great spa cover, price was reasonable and seems to be good quality. The lift that I ordered with the spa cover never arrived. Ive been trying to contact them for the past 3 weeks, by phone and email, but havent gotten a response yet.

Ordered my custom spa cover on November 6, 2019, paid for it that day, but still havent received it. It is now December 26. No communication at all from them. Cant call because they never answer the phone. Usually responds to emails, just sent another one, lets see what excuse they have this time.

We had ordered through another Company and had a bad experience as the product was made wrong and it was damaged when it arrived!. Our order through Florida Spa Covers came when it was expected and was made correctly and exceeded the quality we expected. Im a Very happy customer!!

Ordered a new cover thru eBay on May 14, 2019. They advertise orders will be processed and shipped within 3-5 business days (plus shipping time). After 6 weeks I called and emailed several times without any response. I finally went thru eBay to file a claim when they finally reached out to me stating that my cover just shipped giving me a bogus to fright number. After trying to track in for a few days followed by asking if there was a different tracking number, that’s when they got snotty with me. They said they ship over 175 covers a day (yeah right!) and that my cover was waiting in one of the UPS terminals. (I’m in the shipping/supply business and that’s not how it work).The lady who sent me the email said that if I didn’t like it she would cancel my order and refund my money. My reply was that I was surprised she’d be so willing to refund my money for a customer cover that was already sitting in a freight terminal but if she wanted to give my money back then I would take it.Finally some other guy replied telling me “I” didn’t need to be so mean and that a simple yes or no would’ve worked (for the credit).Bottom line these guys are scammers!

Our cover and lifter were delivered on time and in excellent condition. The price was right and the fit is great!

I will not buy anything from Florida Spa EVER AGAIN they are slow processing damaged orders and they actually do not manufacture covers they are reseller for coverlex ordered a cover on 10-15 cancelled the whole order on 11-28 lost covers damaged covers slow shipping complete lack of communication and its ridiculous trying to get in contact with them there seems to be only one person answering the phone and he pretends to be somebody different every time. I did receive a full refund but Im not entirely sure I would have if I paid with anything aside from PayPal. Save your money and headache and buy from a more reputable company

Product is good, but the YRC shipping company they use is terrible and the company didnt do anything about it.It took over a 4 weeks to get my shipment that was only supposed to take 1 week. Each time I called them, they were unable to give me any answers other than it was in route...the first two times I called they said it was sitting at a place and would have it picked up. I was so frustrated and worse because the people who answered the phone wouldnt do anything to help. Then the local carrier they used kept dropping the ball to...DO NOT USE THIS CARRIER.

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. 4 weeks after order and absolutely no communication. I have called numerous times but can only leave a message and have gotten NO return call. I have send numerous emails and gotten NO reply. At this point I can only assume I have gotten scammed. Will be contacting my CC company to have them hold payment and filing a complaint. UPDATE - After threatening legal action HALF of my order was delivered and still NO communication from the company what so ever!DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

What a scam, its the same guy answering the phone every time trying to pretend like hes another employee and he is so arrogant and cocky. My in laws ordered a cover from this place 2 months ago and now we find out from the shipping carrier themselves that it wont be delivered because the shipper is on bad credit terms with the carrier, as another words they havent paid their bills. My in laws were charged 2 months ago. Stay away from the place, far away!

Bought a cover that was specifically listed and made for my spa. The one that showed up was 4 short on all sides. Contacted FSC with no satisfaction or replacement. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

My order from 10/9 is now stating cancelled on 10/21. I have not received a credit on my credit card nor has the company sent any information as to why my order has been cancelled. I have emailed though their site and left multiple voicemails with no response. I have called multiple times every day this week and no one answers the phone.
