My husband and I have purchased tons of rock for our pond and flower garden surrounding the pond. Many types of rock to choose from and we chose TN field stone. The rocks make the pond and it is beautiful. I have purchased many water plants which accent the pond.. just beautiful!! I cannot think of going anywhere to purchase rock and plants because of the great people who work and own the business. We are very happy with Tampa Bay Ponds & Rocks.

This place is amazing, worth the drive. You can pick each Rock by hand if you want. They have rocks that are 20 cents a pound or rocks that are 20 times that. Great selection, always changing. Only thing I think they could do better is the layout.

Excellent store! I contacted them to inquire about Seiryu stone availability and I was foolishly skeptical that they had it and a lot of it. The person I talked to over the phone informed me they had it and I made the drive up from St. Pete worried that I wouldn’t find what I wanted. I was blown away to find a full pallet of Seiryu stone in a variety of sizes at an outstanding price. Who thought shopping for rocks could be so fun?!

This place has just about everything you need to landscape your yard. Rocks of of every color, glass rocks, slate, fountains and even the fish to go in them. We had a very small project and the staff were very helpful in collecting our rocks and bagging the rocks. We will be back when we have another project.

Huge selection of rock and some driftwood, had exactly what I was looking for. Great to be able to buy as much or little as you need. Had the stone I needed for my aquarium and was able to select the exact pieces I wanted. Prices were great!

I absolutely love this place! Besides finding the most awesome rocks there its a great place to ponder geology and the amazing earth. You can buy 1 rock or tons of rocks. If your into ponding they have everything to get you up and going as well. Nice selection of aquatic plants and fish. Its conviently located on Alt. 19. If you want to try making a mosaic stone path they dont mind if you spend hours there finding just the right rocks that fit together perfectly. Homeschoolers this is a great place to teach the kiddies about geology. My pic isnt of the store but of rocks I have purchased there.

I am posting for my mom who is not tech savvy. My mom has used these folks for as long as we can remember. They have serviced her “pondo” for her rescue turtles and fish without fail. They have recommended the correct equipment to keep all her critters happy and safe. She loves roaming about the property for ideas. The staff and ownership are beyond helpful and caring. She wishes she could give them more than a 5 star rating.

They are a bit pricy on their koi despite all they sell is low breed quality koi. But they are healthy and if you search among the babies long enough youll find some pretty ones. Staff are skilled in catching them. Thats a huge plus.They also have a huge selection of stone, pond supplies and a few plants. Would like to see more plants.

I purchased a bag of red Lava rocks- those cool, porous rocks that are light in weight. I had to come back in an hour for the bag to be ready. Later I start to pour them out to top my plumeria pots, I found many weird rocks that were NOT lava rocks.I assumed it was a mix up. Saved them. Returned them in same bag. No worries- they gave me the SAME weight in the correct rocks-Lava rocks. Great!Buuuutttt, I get home- and NOPE- more weird, heavier rocks that were clearly NOT lava rocks, mixed in once again! I ended up with a lot less of the rocks I paid for.Disappointing. How hard can it be?Happened once-shame on me. Happened twice-shame on you.

I am a landscape designer and have gotten different types of rocks for jobs. The staff is always very helpful and comes up to you and asks you if you need help! They have an amazing assortment of rocks of all sizes and I was just in and saw they have a new line of fountains. This is a great place to go and get inspiration for your yard.

I went for the first time today, and let me tell you, it will be one of many visits. The selection they have is incredible. I do aquascaping and waterfalls and they had such a large selection I spent a good while trying to make up my mind. Once I did, I went to the register and Melody helped me. Not only was she incredibly friendly but I overheard her going into detail with another customer about the care of their Koi fish, their pond, etc. and she was very knowledgeable. The fish are also very healthy, which I personally enjoyed seeing.Now, the best part of my experience was when she rang me up and told me the price. I came in at half my budget with more rocks than I was intending on getting so I went back and doubled up! I will definitely be back.

My wife and I have wanted a pond for a long time. Finally we went to Tampa Bay Ponds & Rocks and found a nice system that comes together and is sold as a kit. We are 40 minutes away so I called ahead to let them know we were on our way and it would be convenient if they could start getting it ready for our pick up. They said no unless we paid for it in advance. Once we arrived, I purchased it and they loaded it in my vehicle. I drove home, unloaded it and read the directions for installation. The pump they included was an 800, the directions said it should be a 1500 to 2000 gallons per minute to supply the appropriate amount of water to the 3 towers. I did some online research and it confirmed that it needed the larger pump. I called Tampa Bay Ponds & Rocks and when I mentioned this to them they said I was wrong. I even drove back the next day and they wouldnt do anything about it. I have had nothing but problems with the water flow from day one. I called them today and explained my disappointment and after trying to blame my installation he said ok, bring it back looking like new. I removed the pump, washed it completely, wrapped the cord with the original twister, and returned it in the original box perfectly, less the plastic bag it came in. He had an assistant show me how to install the new one. and I thanked him, only to lean that he was charging me the cost of the difference in the sizes of the pump. If the old one didnt work, why did I have to pay for the difference in the cost of the one that would. After I mentioned this to the owner, he took 20% off and I only had to pay $100.00 more for the pump that I should have gotten the first time. Oh well, just thought Id share my experience.
